Hotel grounds are simply beautiful and typical of the Balinese gardens. Location of the hotel is excellent, with multiple restaurants, massage spas, shops just steps away. Taxis are also easily available for short rides or day long excursions. Hotel staff are friendly, gentle, and accommodating.

Construction is a bit of a pain, but I understand it's an investment. Liked the pool area, but the slope of the path to it is a bit steep and caution is needed so one doesn't take a tumble.

We stayed 3 nights at Pertiwi Resort and were pretty dissapointed about our stay there. If you walk around the resort it looks really nice with its beautifull garden and two swimming pools. But once we stayed there longer we all agreed that we won't be retuners. Except for the cheerfull staff at breakfast, the staff at the reception were not that approachable. They always seemed very uninterested and sceptical. If we called them from our room (because there was no hot water) they did not pick up. However when we arrived at the reception soon after they were all sitting there. The rooms are also way over-priced. They were very basic especially the bathroom. The bathroom did not have any windows so the humidity could not escape and it definitely needs some refurbishment. We also checked the tv in the room and all the channels were blurry. So they might as well leave that out. The resort is ideally located in the center of Ubud, and is perfect for people who love shopping. However I think the resort charges too much for its rooms just for its location because the service and facilities did not meet our expectations. But if you do consider booking a room here, you should go for the deluxe room. Because the standard rooms are set in the beginning of the resort and if there is a live band playing next door you can hear everything from your room.

Excellent central location in Ubud, and all rooms are set well away from the road in tropical gardens so it was very peaceful. Large room and friendly staff with 2 pools. Quite a number of stairs around the resort as the rooms are set on terraced gardens so if you need a level entry/fewer stairs to access your room, request one that is on the road/reception level of the resort. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you

the garden is very beautiful; rooms are not that good.

Beautiful grounds, good breakfasts, central location for various sites and sights in Ubud. Very friendly staff. Washrooms need upgrading and no TV, but rooms were fine otherwise and AC was good to have.

The atmosphere especially garden was nice. The furnishings were minimal. I woul suggest tea set, at least, in each cottage. (tea pot, tea cup, instant coffee or tea)

Staff were unfriendly and not helpful.

It is generally OK, worth what I paid.
