Emma from Australia recently stayed in a Deluxe lagoon view for 3 days. 

Positives- Hotel room provided large bathroom with spa. Tea and coffee facilities with bar fridge but no mini bar. In room safe, good variety buffet breakfast. Hotel provides a departure lounge. Negatives - Room cleaning staff are not efficient, staff are slow and a bit inattentive especially at check-out when you request assistance with carrying your luggage. Beach is near the hotel but was unusable (large waves and very windy). Location is not convenient as there is a limited choice of good restaurants around the resort.

Great hotel and location. Security and Mgt slow to react to incident at main pool, it appears they don't have plans in place to deal with issues. Expensive compared to other similar hotels.

The Padma resort is a fantastic hotel. Great location and amenities. It is up there in price and competing against some very nice and new resorts. They are currently doing some additions and renovations and will be great when finished. My two minor complaints are the pillows are awful and interconnecting doorways in all the rooms mean who can hear quite clearly in the next room! Not good if you are light sleeper!

They did a great job on the refurbishment. Our deluxe room is spacious, and tastefully appointed. Likewise the public areas and the pool. Breakfast was good - a very wide variety of food, but not all consistently good. Service generally was warm and efficient. Will be back again if rates are more reasonable.

Great hotel with attentive staff located in a brilliant location. The only fault in my opinion is the pool as the temperature of the water is to hot and therefore not that refreshing!

A beautiful Hotel with lovely staff. Renovations were somewhat disruptive and noisy. Excellent gym and excellent buffet breakfast although overcrowded at times.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times and it is amazing.You do pay the difference though to stay in luxury. The only thing that went wrong was that I had requested a double room through the website but ended up being booked into a twin room. The Padma solved this error the next day and couldn't have been more helpful. I'd advise that you only stay at Padma for BB basis as there are so many great places to eat in Legian it would be a waste of money to go All Inclusive. Also, advise that you check out the Padma website before booking as there will be a lot of renovations over the next few years. It'll be well worth it when it's all completed though. It looks like it may go on until 2012. I was there when the reception hall and usual breakfast bar was under renovation. It wasn't a problem and the renovations were practically un noticed. The locals are working hard and through the night like Santas little helpers to get the work done. Brilliant hotel. I will go again!

This is my second stay at the Padma & I am very happy with the staff & location of the hotel. Some areas of the hotel look a bit tired but the excellent service & location certainly make up for it. YOu always feel welcome at the Padma.

The location and the room are very good, a lot of restaurants and bars close by the hotel. The hotel can improve on the quality of the food. We stayed in this hotel before and have been always satisfied with their service, location and facilities.
