Marvin from United Kingdom stayed in a Palace club room for 15 days.
Hotel is fantatsic with top class service and surroundings. Rooms were gorgeous and good size. Palace Club is highly recommended, slightly higher cost but well worth it for the service, privacy, afternoon tea and evening cocktails and canopes! My honeymoon was awesome there, we had 16 nights. The Spa is also brilliant. This place will not let you down. inches from the beach and 5-10min walk to local restaurants and markets. Go There!
Please be patient…

Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa Reviews
Catherineb from Australia recently stayed in a Deluxe for 10 days.
This was the first time we have stayed at Nusa Dua and found it very remote, the hotel was very good but very expensive; Breakfast was of large variety and good quality but got a bit boring after a few days. Staff were very helpful but their English was not so good. We could not swim at the beach, as it was full of sea urchins. The games room was at the end of the hotel and not very well located. The restaurants - not what you expect for a 4-5 star hotel and over priced not just for Bali. Our room, we had an adjoining door to the next room and could hear everything that we said and all of the movement from the guests above us. The spa prices was high but you can use the other facility for free which is well worth the time to check it out.Hotel Facilities

Stayed in one of the renovated rooms which is generally nice, however the bathroom was quite smelly. We've requested in our booking to not stay in ground floor but exactly got ground floor. Food was very expensive in the hotel but that seems to be the case in all hotels at Nusa Dua compared to the rest of Bali. Still the experience was good enough to go here again (the kids had a lot of fun) if we would ever go again to Bali.

Lovely to spend New Years Eve at Nusa Dua. DJ terrible. Techno music not appropriate for clients at dinner. Nobody on dance floor. Disappointing. Needs to be addressed. Did not represent the class of the hotel.Hotel Facilities

Fittings in room such as light shades were tired and in need of replacement. Rooms were musty due to high humidity while we were there.Hotel was undergoing renovations so some facilities were unavailable (lap pool, squash, tennis, sauna and steam) and noise of construction near pool area was disturbing. Hotel management acknowledged our complaints and handled situation very well. Customers shoul have been forewarned though.Hotel Facilities

Location was excellent. Thought the food / drink prices at the hotel were a little high, compared to other food establishments. Beach front was nice, althought the seaweeds and moss made it difficult to swim in the ocean. Polols were nice.Hotel Facilities

The Superior rooms at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa are decently sized, clean though a tad old. However this should not put off any traveller with the staff very obliging and accommodating.
Hotel facilities were well kept. The beach is generally clean even though there is a fair bit of seaweed. The beach pools are very clean and inviting. There's even two table-tennis tables next to the pool which are free for guests to use. The fitness centre uses cybex machines and nice touches like free towels are available at the gym. The business centre is rather small but adequate. You have to remember that this is not a business hotel so you'll have to give it some leeway. The spa is also very good and highly recommended.
Being in Nusa Dua, one will generally expect to spend a decent amount of time at the hotel. Room service is essential and it's generally excellent here. Fast, efficient and pretty good food. Breakfast is a very generous spread though their F&B outlets can be hit or misses. I would strongly recommend Raja's for fine dining balinese food.
Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa is located in a very safe location and security is pretty tight. There's a hourly shuttle service to Bali Collection which is a shopping area in Nusa Dua with shops such as Uluwatu and Polo Ralph and restaurants and a supermarket. Being in an exclusive area, it is pretty far away from Kuta(Shopping/Clubs/Pubs) and Seminyak (Restaurants). A 30-40 min ride is to be expected.
Overall, I had a very enjoyable time at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa and would highly recommend this hotel for a leisurely holiday.Hotel Facilities

Our choice of this hotel was based on many positive reviews found on internet. We decided to book it despite some discouragement coming from the hoteltravel.com (final price for room was 30% higher than one advertised on the hoteltravel.com’s site and the booking process lasted about 5 days).
The hotel itself is OK, it is very well located, nice, big, providing very good breakfast and all people working in it are very nice.
However we feel very unlucky because having the reservation marked ‘high rate’ the hotel assigned us a very small but noisy room with one bed, despite we asked for twins. After complain, the desk clerk informed us there was no more rooms available. It was not true. Not being able to get a sleep due to a horrible noise, even with air-condition turned off, we decided to ask for a duty manager. A short heated argument with him surprised us as a proper room (very small however with twin bed and very quiet) was available to us straight away.
By the way, the first part of our holiday we stayed in a very nice a see front hotel in Benoa. We were highly satisfied as we had a bigger and nicer room with a big modern TV and paid only a half price of one in the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel.

internet access is the worst i ever experienced. People are really nice but there is a lack of professionalism (a smile and a sorry can't fix everything). Rooms are ok but still over prices for what u got. The restaurants are nice but over priced. The resort is nice and the swimming pool & gym are up to date. Overall, it's ok but will try something else in the future.Hotel Facilities

First stay at this hotel and probably not our last.Hotel has a quiet grace and sophistication that results from years of experience. Along the beach nearby there are several more "new kids on the block" but this takes it's position as "grande dame ' seriously.Food outlets not cheap but provide exellent attention to detail especially Raja's.Hotel Facilities

Staff friendly and helpful. Some noise a problem as doors close heavily (i.e. they bang if not shut with care) and conversation from hallway enter room quite easily. The hotel seems to have been kept quite well, but shows some signs of needing major work (some balcony doors do not close flush with wall, lighting insufficient in closet/wardrobe area). One big advantage: no smell and/or sense of dampness in rooms, as is the case in many Nusa Dua hotels.
Room was a decent size. Furniture less than comfortable and a bit old. You'll have to watch TV from bed as chairs are simply not made to sit in for long. No in-room internet.Hotel Facilities

I'm delighted with the hospitality, people are nice and very friendly. The only meal I had in the hotel was breakfast and it was great - lots of different dishes and very nice atmosphere near the pool. As I came to Bali to the conference I had no time for leisure but the place is very beautiful. If I ever come to Bali again I'd love to stay in the same hotel.Hotel Facilities

I did not like the lighting in the bathroom area. There was no light over the tub. There was no fan in the toilet room. There was only bar soap for hand washing at the sink instead of pump hand soap like you have in the public bathrooms in the hotel. The fresh fruit during our stay was awful. It was dry and had no flavor at all. The cushioning onthe lounge chairs outside our room were musty wet and moldy smelling. The pillows on the cushioned chairs in the room were also musty smelling. The woman from the Palace Club Supabma(forgive the misspelling) and Aprille from the Geko club were both lovely very helpful and provided excellent service. My son loved the Geko club. I find it hard to believe that a hotel of this caliber does not have beach attendents to help secure a beach chair and towel.
The room was too narrow. It was hard to walk past the other person you are rooming with.Clean/beautifully kept grounds.
Unfortunately one day during our stay the cleaning people left the door to our room open to the outside. It is just by chance that I came back to the room to get something and that we weren't gone for the day but just at the pool. All of our things could have been taken. That is a major oversight. Also my son and I got sick in the middle of the night and we required some help with the toilet and the response was very slow considering that we were staying in the Palace club I would have expected a little swifter service.
The fruit was awful during our stay. I have neHotel Facilities

The hotel is very big, nice and quiet. The staff is very friendly but it was the Assistant mananger who made our stay extra pleasant. It is due to him that I will probably return to the hotel again in the future. The hotel setting is absolutely beautiful and rich in culture, we especially enjoyed the breakfast time every morning, seated by the pond, Koi fish swim next to us and singing birds and beautiful trees, flowers, it just feels like in paradise! The only thing the hotel may need to improve is to upgrade the bathroom. It looks a bit old for a five-star hotel, and we saw small bugs in our bathroom and very tiny ants in the water kettle.Hotel Facilities

Very good general Balinese atmosphere, good clean beach with good service, pleasant room, very nice herb garden, excellent temple entrance, excellent breakfast with wide choice of food and beverage, very warm welcome every day from the Balinese female staff, excellently organized New Year's party with lovely food arrangement and festive atmosphere. The only complaint would be the poor taxi service for journeys of under one hour's duration. Otherwise, an excellent place to stay for a holiday in Bali.Hotel Facilities
