We stayed for 3 nights in an ocean facing bungalow. It was very close to the pool and had great ocean views from the verandah. We thought it was worth it for a few dollars more.Being a small resort meant you got to know the friendly staff and weren't just another 'number'. On the downside the resort is a distance to the main strip of resturants, etc in Candidasa which is ok if you have a car (we did)but would be a long way to walk. You can hire a driver locally. The resort's ammenities folder recommended, and we enjoyed, a side trip to "White Sandy Beach" (between Candidasa and Amplapura) - it's a lovely bay with safe swimming and a handful of warungs on the beach.

Very beautiful hotel in a beautiful landscape. Quiet, but enough children to play with for my daughter. Good for relaxing and excursions. Very nice and friendly staff.Because there is no beach in Candidasa and at the Hotel you have to walk on the busy street to go to Candidasa. But the Restaurants in Candidasa offer free transfer.
