With 2 young children, the room was large enough for 4 of us. The whole resort is so beautiful that we just stayed in, just enjoying the great surrounding views, enjoying the great looking pools & my 5 year old daughter just loved the water slide....

Stayed seaview room opposite the ocean- magnificent scenery! Reception & F/B staff are overall courteous & efficient. The Recreation facilities are impressive especially the pool, totally fun! I lost my towel on the beach due to negligence, the staff is duely concerned & warn me about the strong current, gave me another towel without further hassle.Suggest to place a pen in the room instead of pencil.TV is relatively small against the room size.

Overall, we loved our stay at the Nikko, but the service was what we appreciated the most. The staff was wonderfully friendly and extremely helpful in all situations, thus creating a genuinely personal ambiance despite the size of the hotel,The hotel's only real drawback is the location. The setting is beautiful, but the secluded location means that those who like to set foot outside the resort itself will be dependent on taxi service.

It's so great having family holiday this year, our family so enjoy this atmosphere of Nikko Bali Resort. I think Nikko is one of tallest hotel in Bali, it's more than 40 m. we can see the beautiful of Nusa Dua beach from the top, so.. so... so beautiful. Big room, many swimming pool, hot jaccuzi. Next trip, i will choose this hotel again. Everyday in Bali is Sunday. If you publish it, use my initial : "HW Surabaya"

please note that the King Size bed provided by Nikko Bali was 2 super single bed merged into 1. Upon check in, found out no honeymoon benefit was not given though couple times i reminded agent's of Hoteltravel.com to add the note to the hotel. Again, twin bed was given and requested for double bed at the receptionist. However, was told that hotel is fully booked and i need to add USD40 for different category room! i went back again to the guest relationship around 10pm to request one more time. They switched us to a show room (which is not for sale) which was relatively worse. We then requested for alternative and they insisted room is fully booked without any effort to give us any better one. Ended up they wasted us 2.5 hours with no any other solution and compensation. We then stil move back to the room that we early check in. P/S: They have different categories room(higher rates) available at that moment but they never mentioned it and offer us the upgrade. Overall, the service and professionalism of this hotel is sucks.

Great staff and nice place to enjoy my vacation on late October '07. I got an upgrade to ocean view and we got 2 clean and spacious rooms with a connecting door and private balconies. Great service from check-in to the day we left. We asked help to confirm our flight and the staff was so helpful. We love the swimming pool and water was so warm, also enjoy riding camel along the beach. Breakfast is yummy with a lot of exotic fruit available. I definitely will come back.

My stay at Nikko Hotel was during peak season. I couldn't get the quite and private environment that I expect from choosing to stay at Nikko.

The hotel was offer the free upgraded our room from Garden view into Deluxe Beach Front. Hotel relation officer was very helpful to resolve my luggage miss taken at the airport. A bit disappoint on their Beach because the Sand was not soft compare with our Redang Island in Malaysia. Never try their food at the chinese restaurant because the food is not good and expensive. We rather spend some money to Jimbaran beach Sea food restaurant

Stayed at Beach Front View, the view from the balcony was simply wonderful. The sea breeze was so cooling we didn't have to turn on any air conditioning at all! Falling asleep to lapping of the sea waves was wonderful, and when you first open your eyes in the morning, a beautiful sun rise and beautiful blue sea is right before you... Would recommend greatly for honey mooners, or couples on a romantic getaway. Staff were very helpful with enquires and bookings for spas, etc. But we do realise its best to get a local guide to do that. You get much more discount. Location of the hotel is rather far away from airport and main attractions though. But the view made up for it.

My kids were the only ones who thoroughly enoyed the hotel with its numerous pools and activites. We found the hotel lacking in maintenance. Check in staff at the reception were a little clueless about our booking and it took a bit longer than it should have. We were given the wrong information when asked about the gym hours. The bathroom amenities have been by far the worst I have ever used -- no lotion was provided and we kept having to ask for the shower gel. The redeeming part was the staff-- very polite and always smiling. Would we go back for more-- only if our children insisted.

As per the other reviews, don't stay here if you intend going clubbing in Kuta/Legian/Seminyak. That obvious comment aside, staff are outstanding; true to the Japanese principle of nothing being too much trouble (we live in Tokyo)...The pool magnificent, views breathtaking, and the beach superb. Breakfast offers a wide choice for all nationalities/tastes. DON'T eat in the hotel; Pantai Mengiat is a buck-and-a-half, 5 minute cab ride away, and the restaurants will take you home afterwards (recommend Mai Mai, El Pirata, and Ullam). ALL restaurants serve multiple styles of food. Our 3rd visit in 4 years (second in 9 months), and perfect for families; we have 2 girls (14,11) and a son 6. Every member of the family loves the place. Last thing: request South Wing or Cliff Tower...North Wing a bit away.

Very nice hotel well situated with excellent service. Main drawbacks are the quality of food, its exhorbitant price (the restaurants are nearly empty in the evening) and the business center with antiquated and expensive internet connections.

The stay was relaxing and satifying though rate is at the high side for the deluxe ocean room I paid. Needless to say the view was fantastic and listening to the sound of wave splashing to the beach. The room was good though not extremely fantastic. I think that maybe a carpet or textiles material could be used on the room's floor could be better. The bathroom was ok with shower and bath tub though water keeps splashing out from the shower room and causing "flash flood" in the bathroom. Swimming pool was the greatest with pools cater for children and adults. The man made water fall could be your strong "masseur" on your back. The breakfast was good as well. Overall, it was a good stay but I would like to try other hotel as well if I ever go back to Bali.

The hotel itself is fantastic. The grounds, rooms and service are excellent. The only down side is that the hotel is a little remote from the main resort of Nusa Dua so you always need a taxi to get anywhere.

Room was getting a bit old and the furniture was getting worn out. Mix up with hotel reservation upon arrival, since we booked 2 rooms and they got the names wrong. Room by the pool on the 2nd floor was very noisy especially in the morning when children started swimming in the pool. Shuttle bus to Kuta DFS was extremely small and most of us queueing for it ended up taking a taxi. Long queues at breakfast. Very nice swimming pool with artificial beach.

Me an my wife had the most memorible 7 days at the Nikko Bali Resort. As soon as we arrived we were welcome to the most breath taking view of the ocean from the lobby. The hotel staff were really friendly and are always there of assistance. We stayed in the Deluxe beach front room which had a beautiful view of the ocean and the swimming pool. The hotel food was overpriced much like what you would find in Western developed countries but none the less it tasted really good. The hotel is 30 minutes travel to the main shopping an night life district of Kuta but there are plenty of taxis to get you to your destination. Overall, i would recommend this hotel to anyone who travels to Bali because of its pristine location and the friendlyness of its staff. Its a score of 10 out of 10.
