Charles from United Kingdom stayed in a Deluxe blue for 12 days.
This was unboubtedly the best hotel we have ever stayed in.The location was excellent, the staff were simply falling over themselves to attend to every small detail that made our stay so memorable. The quality of the food was amazing when you consider everything was included in the price. You can eat and drink here whenever you want and as much as you want. You simply have to visit here to experience this place, words are not enough to describe how wonderful The Melia Benoa is, and what great value for money it represents .
We would all return tomorrow. Go try it for yourself.
Please be patient…

Melia Benoa Reviews
FENG from China recently stayed in a Premium silver room for 2 days.
1. Beach is not good partly because it is not strictly located in the beautiful Nusa Dua area. It’s like Greater China area is not China. Many stones and small rocks on the beach - not purely soft sands.
2. Service quality really bad. Complaints unsolved on the first night have to be re-explained to the next day to on duty staff again making it difficult to communicate. One example: We ordered additional blanket due to freezing air con, waited in the room for the blanket for 20 minutes with no reply. I even opened the door and wait for the blanket. Later manager come with one staff who claimed that he has been knocking our room once by no answer. We do not understand how that is possible given our door is open, and why they do not call us to follow up
3. Facility rundown: air con cannot be adjusted in temperature and wind speed, needs to be upgraded
4. All inclusive package set up is unreasonable, from blue to silver you pay USD 25, only to get laundry of 4 pieces, room wifi (anyway available in lobby) and mini bar. (I personally do not think mini bar is necessary when you get all the service from restaurants in same hotel). Earlier I am told by staff that silver also get upgraded menu in restaurants, but later found out the menu in all restaurants for blue and silver is the same. Hotel did not clearly state the variation in each package, thus makes confusion to guests.
5. Food is not tasty. During our stay in Bali, we tried 3 hotels and ~ 10 restaurants; the food from this restaurant is the least tasty, and disappointed, for all-inclusive guests. Beverage is okay though.
Although we have read many negative comments from HotelTravel and Trip Advisor, we still hold the wish that communication could bring us okay service. It turns out to be wrong. Just want to share this lessons with all, that you should not easily believe the rating or marking from hotel. Need to look into the comments from others.
To Melia Benoa, There is definitely much room to improve in your service, and a long way to go.

Soobitha from Malaysia recently stayed in a Executive junior suite for 4 days.
Upon arrival the desk staff were pleasant. The rooms were a little run down and of poor design. The bathroom wasnt of 5 star quality. We stayed in a suite but the bathroom didn't even have a long bathtub. The aircon was leaking and the sink was blocked. We asked for some assistance from the floor manager during breakfast and he made a sarcastic remark. The chef at the omelet station was rude. We had ordered room service one day but the food was really awful. Even the cheesecake tasted wierd. I really preferred my stay at Bali tropics (the hotel just next to Melia). I will not consider going back to stay at Melia in the future.Hotel Facilities

This was our fourth visit to Melia Benoa and we thouroughly enjoyed our stay as always.
The service is second to none, the staff go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need.
Overall the food is excellent. With a choice of 3 main eating areas, with one area open 24hrs, we never failed to find something we liked. Enjoying a seafood bbq on the beach under the stars, whilst listening to live background music and being served cocktails, was a perfect way to spend the evening.
The hotel's attention to detail is immediately noticeable when you enter the main reception (welcomed by balinese dancers). There is a spa with an array of treatments. Price wise you can find cheaper elsewhere but asking for discount normally brings it down.
The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable.
Overall a great place to stay, incredible value on the all inclusive package and we will definitely be returning (again).Hotel Facilities

This is my honeymoon trip & we stayed at executive suite. Room was big and spacious. However bathtub is a bit small & water doesnt flow smoothly. Other than that, all are perfect! Breakfast has wide selection. Pool was nice and clean & beach was really quiet, u can relax there. Sand is fine, water is clear. Great job for them to maintain all these. Great for honeymooners and families gateway.Hotel Facilities

Christopher from United States stayed in a Deluxe for 2 days.
This was a rather large hotel, but the rooms had the feel of a boutique hotel -- wooden floors, glass walled shower, big (clean) bathtub, flat screen tv w/ many english channels for rainy days, fridge-- I could go on. The only thing I didn't like was the restaurants; highly overpriced for Bali and the food was sub-par in my opinion but hey, this is Nusa Dua. There are restaurants along the street.Great pool and beach set up. No night life to be found.Hotel Facilities

The hotel is situated quite far from town. The cost to and from the hotel is very expensive because of the distance. As a family, the kids would like it if the hotel has beach activities nearer to the hotel or at the hotel itself. Its just too far from "civilisation".Hotel Facilities

The hotel was nice but older than we had expected. The breakfast was splendid with a lot of things to choose from. The hotel's location close to the beach was also great. The beach restaurant at right when leave the hotel beach was great and served splendid and cheap food. A lot of Melia Benoa guest was eating there and was satisfied.Hotel Facilities
