MICHAEL from United Kingdom stayed in a Superior for 7 days.
This was our third stay at Melia Bali and once again we were very pleased with the amenities, very good restaurants, great pool, right on the beach and about a ten minute walk to town. Nice relaxed atmosphere with plenty of activities around the pool for the more energetic and a great location for beachcombing or moonlit strolls. Very good breakfast buffet and minimal wait for a table even at their busiest periods, a little slow delivering coffee at times but otherwise excellent service. Very good reasonable taxi service available for trips to Kuta shopping, airport and other places of..
Please be patient…

We had a good time in this hotel. The hotel is situated at the beach. The staff was friendly. The family room is comfortable as it should be for a 5star hotel. We had plenty of space for us and 3 childrens. Big swimming pool for the children. A lot of activities for the children. At the end of our holiday annoying things happened to me. At the lobby I gave two letters with proper stamps to the man at the desk after I check out and paid the bill. These letters where never received.Hotel Facilities

Marta from United States stayed in a Duplex suite for 4 days.
the hotel its beutiful and well located, however its is very large and from our room which was building 4 to reception or restaurant for breakfast was a distance. the rooms are beautifully furnished and bathrooms are well equiped.
the pool and general resort facilities are all good. resort well suited for families or couples. very secured and vell patroled. very close to bali collection - shopping mall and restaurant district. there are several restaurants and food outlets in the hotel with v good menu selection however they are very expensive. mini bar, pool or room service is also very very expensive-for a standard lunch for a family of 4 at cafe by the pool expect to pay AU $50-100.00 ..... I think thats expensive for Bali.Hotel Facilities

MICHAEL from United Kingdom stayed in a Superior for 2 days.
After spending at least 4 stays at this hotel we were expecting a much nicer room and we were certainly not impressed when we were charged more than $4.00 to have a bucket of ice delivered to the room. What kind of five star hotel does that? They seem to be taking a cue from the airlines. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay but probably will look elsewhere for our next visit to Bali.Hotel Facilities

It was a bad luck to me to choose this hotel,I have been in delux room but it was very old with bad smell. The staff qualification is poor comparing with other resorts. swimming. the good points were that the location is excelent and the garden is huge.Hotel Facilities

Gerhard from Germany stayed in a Deluxe garden for 5 days.
Very spacious hotel, rooms was sufficient in size, garden-view room enjoyed to look a the nice pool and garden landscape, quiete surrounding and just a short walking distance to outside restaurants and shopping mall. Aircon was fortunately not needed as it expelled quite some strange humid smell. Generally good value for money.Hotel Facilities

We hope to plan another stay there later this year.Hotel Facilities

Lovely hotel with amazing grounds and fantastic pool area second to none; however, rooms are damp- there is a big problem with the air conditioning at this hotel which they fail to admit...bed clothes damp, not great for people with chest problems. Would be the best if they dealt with it!Hotel Facilities

Loh from Malaysia stayed in a Superior for 1 day.
Love this place. The grounds are huge. We got upgraded to a junior suite room from a standard superior which was great. The room was a duplex with the bedroom above. It was excellent except that the air condition cause a bit of a damp smell. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in terms of variety. The gardens were very beautifully taken care of and the pool was great. The beach was rather shallow and the sand was not as soft as in Kuta but good enough. Great place to take in the sun. The staff was excellent and very friendly and helpful. Only thing is that Nusa Dua wasn't that near to shopping but more for pure relaxation. All in all Excellent value.Hotel Facilities

This hotel is very big and commercial. It is located in Nusa Dua which is outside of the happening places, we felt captive. Far from restaurants and shops. Taxi to Kuta Beach is around $10 and it takes 20 minutes. Food at this hotel is very expensive, we spent $50.00 for 2 people for a dinner buffet which is very expensive for Indonesian standard. The quality of the food is also bad.
The beach is infront of the hotel is ok for swimming only. If you want to snorkel you need to take a boat. We would not stay here next time we come back to Bali.Hotel Facilities

We had an excellent holiday. The staff were superb. The rooms are showing some signs of ageing paticularly the bathroom fittings. One small annoyance. The charge for taxis booked at the hotel counter were higher. We paid Rupiah 85,000 for the trip from airport to hotel but were charged Rupiah 90,000 for the return trip from the hotel to airport.Hotel Facilities

Paulo from Portugal stayed in a Superior for 9 days.
It's really a Nusa Dua's 5 stars hotel with a very good plan of sport activities and entertainment. The staff is it's best value. However: Melia advertises resort & spa but there is no real spa operating (under renovation); one villa adapted to the function looks like a deluxe massage parlour but it's not a spa by asian standards for a 5 star hotel. Rooms have a indoor humidity big problem and guests are invited not to keep balcony door open in order to minimize the problem; my room had a strong smell of humidity and after a week on the closet my leather jacket already got mold. I know that electric dehumidifiers are expensive but at least the hotel should use those industrial products with absorbent cristals and air fresheners. I hope visit again Nusa Dua in the future. Melia Bali will not be my first choice.Hotel Facilities

Lynne from United Kingdom stayed in a Superior for 6 days.
This is a resort in itself, not much round about, however, a short taxi journey takes you to livelier parts. The hotel itself was absolutely fantastic and the grounds are idyllic. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated. All you can smell is flowers and incense throughout the hotel. Totally authentic balinese. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the restaurants are wonderful. The spa is great and actually reasonable. I could not fault this hotel, just wished I had stayed longer. There is a lot to do in the hotel so not much call to travel around, however, Bali is beautiful and it would be a shame to miss it. Definitely will be back.Hotel Facilities

A beautiful hotel, big, spacious and yet not congested. I like the space and the beautiful garden surrounding the various wings of the hotel. I was in the Hotel in March and the beach was not very nice as it was low tide. I would expect it to be beautiful in the right season.Hotel Facilities

Tuck from Singapore stayed in a Superior for 2 days.
There was an initial mix-up about my request for adjoining rooms. But eventually we were put into adjoining rooms but without interconnected doors. The hotel was very efficient and came out with adjoining rooms with interconnected doors, for our convenience, within minutes. In the process of moving to the new rooms, my wife failed to remove her jacket from the wardrobe and didn't notice it until a day later. What impressed me most was that when I approached the front-desk for help, the front-desk personnel was able to drop all his work and accompanied me to the lost-and-found department to retrieve my wife's jacket.Hotel Facilities
