Rooms were large, excellent facilities. Pool was amazing. Staff were attentive and paid great attention to detail. Beach front and amazing views. Beach clean and quiet. Taxis easily available.

We've been to all categories of hotels, and The Legian is up there with the very best! It is elegant, modern, yet with elements of local Balinese design, and the staff are unmatched in their attentiveness and attention to detail. The location is very convenient in terms of proximity to the centre of town. Overlooking the ocean with a 180-degree view of the horizon from every room is a dream come true! The price is well below other hotels of this category. And most important of all, the description of the hotel and its facilities on the internet is exactly accurate and not even a little exaggerated!

The Legian was recommended to my wife and I by some long-time Indonesian friends with the comment "you will pay a little more, but it will be worth it". I must say they were 100% correct. We loved everything about our stay. The location and facilities were only surprassed by the quality and friendliness of the hotel staff. We are already planning our next trip to Bali and will stay at The Legian if there is a room available!
