Perfect location, very relaxing atmosphere, professional staff and good food. I never wanted to leave! I was upgraded to a bungalow and the only thing that bothered was a few insect bites.

The staff were brilliant the grounds keep immaculate and the overall stay was more than enjoyable. We will definitely stay there again.

Classic hotel, not in Balinese style.

Hotel was everything we'd hoped for. Staff were very friendly, accommodation was first rate and we would certainly recommend Legian Beach Hotel to our friends.

Bungalows were clean and well serviced and the staff very friendly.Did not eat at any of their restaurants except for breakfast which was included as there is a great selection of eateries within a stroll of the entrance.

Good location, Drinks a little pricey, food reasonable

overall good hotel, we stay at the Family room with 4 bed and 2 bathroom, the second bathroom was very small.

You could enjoy the quiet Legian beach and conveniency of KUTA area, though hotel doesn't own a private beach, but it's just direct to the restaurant area. Just the room near the entrance will have the noise, and they also have rooms not facing the sun, no terrace, can't imagine it. Remember to book the room in 2nd and 3rd floor, with terrace, and better in front area.

Legian Beach is a lovely hotel, in a great location. The one thing that bothered me, was waking up the next morning to find another traveller, unknown to me, asleep on my front porch. It took 2 phone calls, and a good 40 minutes, until security finally removed the man! Apart from that, staff were extremely friendly, and its a beautiful setting and you feel very spoilt!

Hotel is in a Great position.Staff really friendly and helpful.The Bungalow we stayed in was clean and the air conditioner kept us cool of a night.We would stay at Legian Beach Hotel again.

Our stay at Legian Beach Hotel was enjoyable. Our room was clean with good air conditioning and a comfy bed, the TV channels were lacking with mostly foreign language channels. The pools were very clean and in a lovely setting, a bit more surrounding light at night time would have improved them though. We were most impressed with the location and hotel reception staff, who were extremely helpful in assisting us with anything we needed to know. We would definitely return to Legian Beach.

I stayed here for 7 nights & received a free upgrade on check in. Staff were friendly & the location excellent. I had a late flight out and we were able to secure our luggage, spend our final day out and shower before departing.

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic stay at LBH we stayed in the Garden Deluxe Cottage and it had a great feel about it. The gardens were magnificent and staff were only to happy to assist anyway they could, location was great within easy walking distance to restaurants and bars. Only bad thing which is only to common it seams at the bigger resorts the pool lounge hogs are still out there, sorry folks but this is mainly directed to travellers who have no mannners at all placing towels on lounges and then taking off for hrs on end, if they only new that use it while you are ther and make way for other people to enjoy when you are not. all in all we will be back

The hotel is in a brilliant location and I would have to say that is the best thing going for it.I was a little disappointed with the Deluxe Beach Bungalow at first, as it was not what I remembered booking - but as the week went on we were happy with it, and it's location. One negative about it was I was there with my husband, and we had to double sized beds pushed together, but made separately. I was happy to read a message in the information that beach towels left on chairs for over an hour (with no one using it) will be removed - as I find this very frustrating - but this did not happen, and as soon as we walked back to the room from breakfast (about 8:30am) there was already a dozen towels on lounges. The breakfast was good - with a good variety.We had lunch twice at the hotel, which was really good as well.It was disappointing when we went to have lunch at the Ole Ocean View Patio. We sat there for awhile and no one brought us menus or greeted us. It started to get in the sun, so we moved over to a table, which is apparently Gino's Pasta and Pizza corner. We asked to see the other menu as we wanted Indonesian and not Italian, and we were told we could not sit there if we wanted the other menu, and had to move down 3 steps to the Bale Banjar Restaurant - - -Whatever. Yet when we went to the Ole patio on another day, to sit on one of the lounges (there were no seats by the pool) we were given a menu instantly. When I said that we didn't want anything, we were told we could not sit there! The internet access was about $13 AUD for an hour that expired 24 hours after first logging on. Much better to go down the street to an internet cafe where you pay about $0.70 AUD for 30 minutes. I found the reception staff pretty uptight / rude. I witnessed one guest trying to get a second towel, which they flatly refused. What happened to the wonderful Balinese service? Overall we had a wonderful week in Legian, but unfortunately I will not be staying at Legian Beach Hotel again.

Not much to complain about. Everything was actually very good, not excellent, but it is not a 5 star hotel, so I would highly recommend it. The staff is great, pool is wonderful, and the location is very good. The only real bad thing is that they rip you off for internet time. $10 per hour? That is a cash grab and a rip off. The Komeneko hotel in Ubud provides free wifi all over the property. That is how it should be in this day and age. If the cable tv or satellite tv is free, why not the internet? More people need to complain to fix this.

Not many Americans at the hotel. I am a single older person and there seemed to be only couples and some with children. The breakfast was excellent....everything a European, Asian, Australian or American could want. It is a good choice. Kuta is too crazy and Seminyak is to much the "in place". Legain has a perfect setting.

The Legian Beach Hotel is in a wonderful position, close to some really nice resturants and right on the beach. We were upgraded from a superior room to a bungalow this was lovely except the beds were joined together to make one large bed but made as two, so it was really like sleeping in seperate beds for the whole time. Other than that the grounds are beautiful, staff are great, breakfast is the best! a little pricey to eat and drink there, not that we tend to anyway....I would definately return moreso for the position. Looking forward to going back!

One of the better hotel in Legian at vakue for money!

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms are squalid with views over eiither the maintenance area or the busy car park. The gym wasn't working, no pool toys, insufficient sun beds, signs on the only available beds advising that "regular ordering of items from the bar required to use these beds", understaffed restaurants so that everything took ages to arrive, unhelpful reception staff, charges for everything I could go on. It's a dump - Fawlty Towers.

The rooms were great - we had a superior room with garden/carpark view as we had requested this.Request even numbered rooms in the superior block and you will be ok.[The rooms opposite us- odd numbered rooms- had no balconies and an awful view of a cement wall and rusty roofs.] position of hotel great facilities etc great but the only isssue I would comment about re this hotel is the exorbitant prices they charge for drinks and food. Eg average cocktail is 70,000rph plus 21% service tax! Average cocktails in the area are 40,000! Happy hour only offers 30% discount whereas most other hotels offer 50%.Food is also over the top for prices. That would be my only complaint.

We were given a free upgrade to a cottage room and its nice, like a small suite. Staff were courteous and friendly. Food and pool is average only. I like the whole relaxed and balinese feel to the hotel. Its at the end of Kuta Beach, so to walk to Hard Rock area takes a good 15-20mins. Despite that, I would recommend this hotel to everyone who's going Bali for a relaxing holiday. Legian is not near noisy area and is self-contained with the food, pool and sea. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

An absolutely brillant hotel!!!!! We stayed in a garden bungalow and my husband and I couldn't fault one thing about our stay and the staff, food and room were above excellent. Have just returned and are in the process of booking again for our whole family for the same time next year... Highly recommended

Fantastic friendly staff. facilities were great with an idealic setting amongst beautiful gardens and several gorgeous pools and views over the beach. Rooms were fantastic however smaller than appeared on the several websites we checked, very comfy bed. We did unfortunately have phonecalls from Australia which were quite urgent which weren't put through to our room.

Very friendly staff in particular at the bar and restautant. Nice pool and relaxation facilities. Lovely setting.

The morning buffet was excellent with a wide variety of food and drinks. We enjoyed it very much. The location of the restaurant was very nice too. We really felt comfortable in the bungalow.
