Stayed at Kuta Lagoon 4 May-12 May 2012 and loved it. Will stay there again next visit. Location is great and walking distance to centro and mataharis shopping center. Markets and good food places all around. Go to the day spa just out the entrance instead of the hotel day spa as its cheaper and still nice. The staff are wonderful and the facilities are great for what you pay. Breakfast is pretty boring but the juices are nice. The 24hr room service is a huge plus.

Absolutely fantastic.This was the second time we have stayed with them, will only ever stay here when travelling to Kuta. We had an upgrade to a private villa for the first week, service is always excellent. Staff amazing- spent half our time hanging out with them playing pool! The best hotel ever!

The hotel is in a great location, hidden away but close to everything. We love the easy access to the pool area and the room is clean and tidy, bed is comfortable. The only constructive criticism I would give is there are only 2 Australian channels and we had to hire a DVD player, which we had to pay for. Also our room wasnt ready, even though we checked in at 6pm and had to wait 15 minutes. Otherwise we will stay there again.

What a great little hotel! Stayed there because of price and so many positive reviews. Pool rooms are fantastic and a great idea. The hotel was quiet and the staff have been the friendliest we have come across on our many stays in Bali. Rooms were spacious and very clean and the bed super comfortable. I would definately stay there again. If you want excellent value for money in a super little 3 star hotel then Kuta Lagoon is for you.

It was a very lovely hotel but breakfast wasn't the best. The other aspects of the hotel certainly out weighed what we found to be often a cold and unappealing breakfast. We would stay at the hotel again and it really didn't bother us to venture out and find something else to eat.

Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and water, very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was great and reasonably priced. Location of Hotel is fantastic and my 15-year-old daughter and myself felt very safe.

We booked 2 rooms and unfortunately, there was construction going on very close which echoed through my room. After complaining, I was transferred to another room further away from noise. The staff were wonderful, helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

The hotel was nice, and the staff were lovely. Standard room had no outside area to sit, and window looked out onto a brick wall. Would suggest booking a more Superior room. Otherwise, had a lovely stay, and would stay here again.

We have stayed many times at the Kuta Lagoon Resort. It’s a really good 3 star in a great location. The staff are very friendly and courteous at all times. The pool access rooms are the best, and the villas are very spacious. Overall, the best 3 star hotel we have ever stayed at. Clean sheets, villa rooms are spacious, very comfortable beds, bathrooms clean. Mini bar and drinking water. New flat screen TV in the room we had. Pool access rooms the best. Spa is good, not as cheap as outside the hotel, but reasonable price. Free wifi in the restaurant and outside by the pool. You just need to buy a drink. Has an internet room with money changer. Good restaurants right near - Blue Skyze and La Porchetta. Great DVD shop across the road (not the big one) Right on Legian St near art markets, but quiet once you go down the driveway to hotel. Made (Maadey) the driver there is fantastic and can take you anywhere you need to go. Didn't really eat there this stay, but room service the prior visit was good. Most people eat outside the hotel, except for breakfast. The breakfast has improved a lot since our last stay. Always cleaning and making sure there is no mess anywhere. Room staff are great, very thorough. Made is a driver who is normally outside the mini mart in the lane to the hotel. He is fantastic and a really nice man. He will take you anywhere you need to go. Otherwise, there are plenty of taxi's on Legian St. Normally after 9pm they want fixed price and will not run the meter! Bali is becoming more expensive each time we visit. We have found this hotel to be good value for our money in such a good location, and so clean and nice. But remember it is a 3 star.

I love this place and will stay again next year! The room was basic but clean. The pool is great and the pool bar very welcoming after a day of shopping. Everybody is really friendly and helpful. I wasn't to fussed over the food but it has a good basic menu, they could mix up the breaky buffet a bit, it was also reasonable for hotel prices. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were cleaned every day, the Villas smell a little of mold. Just walk out the front and there are heaps of Taxi's, there is a lovley man called Made he is very short so you can tell him apart from the other guys, very reasonable, let him know somebody recommended him!

We loved our stay at Kuta Lagoon. Fantastic staff and pool. Close to everything and even though on Jalan Legian very quiet inside resort. Pool access room for us next time, they look great. For 3 Star accomadation this place is tops. Would not hesitate in returning. We did not pay very much at all for this accomdation and for what we paid the standard of the room was great. Nothing flash but we could not expect 5 Star with all the modern conveniences when paying for 3 Star. Staff are always cleaning and updating. It is an older Resort but the condition of it is great. The staff could not be faulted. They where so friendly and could not do enough for you. The Hotel is on the main street through Kuta/Legian which is so busy and noisy, however once you enter the Resort you do not hear any of this. It is an easy 5 min walk to the beach and the shopping is on your door step. The Buffet breakfast was great. It had enough to choose from everyday. Not as extensive as some other hotel Buffets but for the price we paid it was great. Spotless. Rooms where cleaned to a very high standard every day. All other area where always being swept or cleaned in some way. The Pool also appeared to be kept at a high standard

The majority of the staff is very friendly. It is a great location, and the pool, if they treated it a bit better, and maybe gave it a tocuh up would be fantastic. My biggest issue was that our room was near the pool bar, which started playing clublike music at 10:30am! even if there was no-one in the pool! it was very loud and i asked if we could move but was told the hotel was full. The breakfast was ok for bali however the coffee is pretty much undrinkable, the lunch and dinner while nice and not to expensive, seemed to have troubles ordering things, ie one day i wanted a burger to whcih i was told tere was no meat, the second day i asked again and i was tolsd they had no chips. when i asked what they would be substituting the chips with they told me nothing... I think there are some great parts of the hotel and the lower staff are very smily, there are issues with the management that need to be adressed however. with a bit of maintanance around the pool, using their heads a little more with issues like the pool bar and a little more effort in F and B with hotel would be a great place to stay.

Quiet, small and very friendly hotel. The staff were wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The New Year's Eve dinner and celebration was so much fun and the effort the staff went to in providing a beautiful setting was amazing. We will definitely return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at kuta lagoon resort and pool villa. The location (jalan legian) is excellent for shopping and eating. The location at jalan legian is very strategic. You can find many shops and restaurants and massage area right outside the hotel.The pool is wonderful , my daughter had an enjoyable time playing in the pool.I have to say the buffet breakfast serves a wide variety of delicious food too. The breakfast buffet was excellent with local food and western food as well. We will definitely stay there again next time if we go to bali.

Excellent location and staff are friendly. Unfortunately the hotel was full of schoolies that had no manners and abused the hotel staff when they tried to get them to behave. Spent three nights having our door knocked on at ridiculous hours, bebe guns being shot off. They were very apologetic but it ruined our holiday. We are return customers and were very disapointed.

Our stay at the Kuta Lagoon was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you. We stayed in a Pool Access room which was great just to be able to jump into the pool from your back door was a delight. The pool and surrounding gardens were kept meticulously clean. We tried the spa for a special they had - full body massage and a facial for 150,000R, very good. Great location. We would definately stay again.

The pool accessed room are quite averagely furnished and in NO WAY looking anything in luxury....Guest are provided with brown coloured towels as bath towel in our room that looks like worn out pool or beach towels ....Breakfast spread are very basic and only black local coffee is served. No brewed arabica coffee and some other premium western breakfast choices...I don't think what they provided befits and worth the hotel rates they demanded even for a beach resort hotel! The rate I paid could buy me a four to five star full service hotel in Jakarta!

Pool water looked dirty. Room booked online was bad with window looking out at a solid wall, no sunshine coming in. I would not stay here again. Personnel used insect fogger with little warning and fogged up entire hallway and could not see to get out of the room.

We absolutely loved every minute we stayed at this hotel. We spent one week here (myself, husband, 6yr old and a baby). The room was extremely spacious, immaculately cleaned and we fell in love with the pool access rooms). Breakfast was fine- food was always fresh and kept filled though by the end of the week we started getting a bit sick of the buffet. For the rate paid we were delighted with everything. The staff were always very helpful and smiley. The hotel is in an excellent location- step outside the hotel grounds and you are in the middle of all the shopping. We would definately return to this hotel.

I love Kuta Lagoon Resort! The staff are very helpful and friendly. Nice pool (and clean water, no chemical smell!). I love the way they decorate the hall by flowers (different figures every day). The Balinese food is not really suitable for me, but the food in Kuta Lagoon Resort is better than that. The location is great! Just one thing: the Internet and printing is really expensive. Definitely I will come back to Kuta Lagoon if go to Bali.

Great budget hotel. Would stay again if staying in Kuta. Easy access to shopping but a bit far of a walk to the beach in the heat (10-15 mins) along the shopping alleys. Great value, good breakfast, clean room, great pool. Make sure they have you booked at rooms facing teh pool area and not at the back corner with view of a motorcycle parking lot from balcony.

This place is really cool. The pool is amazing and very clean. The staff are genuinely friendly and go out of their way for you. The location is perfect, far enough to be away from the over the top hassles of Kuta, but still close enough to the action, shops and bars. Kuta and the beach are both a short walk. The hotel is set back from the road so there are no annoying scooters horns through the night. I will stay there again.

We were checked in the hotel about 2.30pm and checked out at 3.30am next day. No much time for us to experience all the facilities especially swimming pool it looks unique in design. We and luggage got wet during checked out at early morning due to rain where the corridor from room to lobby is without shelter. The room without kettle to boil hot water is rather disadvantage. Although we left early morning howeve the hotel packed the breakfast for us, this is highly appreciate and not many hotel willing to do like this. Overall the hotel is worth to stay with the value money has paid.
