The Kubu Bali Bungalows is carved out of the Bukit Candidasa hillside with a garden of terraced ponds and waterfalls with cobbled pathways leading the visitor to spectacular views of the Candidasa Bay. (As beautiful as the hotel and grounds are, its layout makes it suitable for guests that do not have difficulty ascending or descending stairs.)

"A nice location and the gardens are spectacular, the rooms are a good size and well maintained, just a couple of niggles, some of the staff in the resturant were the rudest we have encountered in Bali and they put us off using the resurant -this is not a problem as there are so many nice plces to eat nearby. Overall a nice place but not quite up to the mark of last year, the management seem a little slack and with so much competition will have to look out."
