We had a wonderful stay in this hotel! Our villa was amazing, with beautiful views and a pool that got used several times a day. The staff were attentive to all details and went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. Loved that breakfast and tea/cakes were included in the price. I was worried about being so far out of town, but we had no trouble getting in and out on the shuttle, and it's so hot and crowded in Ubud that it was nice to get out of town and relax in peace when we were done for the day. Another bonus: the Monkey Forest location in town was a great pit stop when we needed a clean bathroom to use and a couple bottles of cold water.

This was one of the best locations I have ever stayed. Everything is perfect from the location to the view and the villa itself. The staff and hospitality were beyond spectacular. Do yourself a favor and book into this hotel, you won't regret it.

Komaneka at Tangayuda is a superb hotel. Everything was perfect except for its location (which is 15 minutes out of town). However, the hotel provides a free shuttle service every hour. We stayed in a Valley Pool Villa which was very private and absolutely stunning. The breakfasts are fantastic and very substantial. A complimentary afternoon tea is also provided. I would recommend this to anyone after a peaceful and luxurious stay in Ubud.

From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel as a welcome guest of hotel. Staff are some of the most helpful in a sincere way that I have come across in my holiday in Bali. They have a very good shuttle service into Ubud, so convenient. Probably about 15 minutes but believe me you will probably be glad to return to peace of hotel. Ubud gets busier every year. The pool was lovely and complimentary afternoon tea every day. Also went to complimentary Yoga lesson one afternoon and recommend. Great to practice yoga in such beautiful surroundings. Staff at restaurant very helpful and best breakfast a la carte of my Bali vacation.

Only minor complaints about our stay there, since the whole experience was very positive, namely limited food choices, spotty wifi performance (but this seemed to be a problem just of our room) and sattelite T.V. that was mostly not working. If you are a gym fanatic, expect just a very limited choice.

Hotel staff greets you by name and your in-room menu is personalized with your name. Staff are very friendly and treat you like family. It's very peaceful and quiet, perfect if you want to get away from the busy life at the beach area. It was also very cooling when we stayed there in June.

Top quality hotel only let down by it's age and a few maintenance issues. Paving slabs were cracked and mould was evident near the pool area. General wear and tear led us to feel that the hotel needed a bit of a spruce up in the rooms. Otherwise - sterling service and great food. Free lifts to Ubud and area were available and easily organised. Amazing location and 'in the jungle' feel - aided and abetted by many a over-friendly tree frog!

Great place to get away from it all. The staff was very friendly and the villas with the pools were straight out of a picture book. Id highly recommend this place to anyone,especially for those travelling with their partner. Overall fantastic experience and wouldnt hesitate to go back again.

Komaneka hotels (we changed to the one at Bisma given constrution) is by far the best hotel(s) I have had the pleasure of residing in. And we are talking hundreds. The room quality, food, and staff responsiveness - indeed, almost mind reading! - resulted in a completely delightful stay. Just can't go wrong.

We had a wonderful stay - the hotel was beautiful and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Although a 15 minute drive out of Ubud, the hotel shuttle service was very reliable and flexible, and it was nice to be somewhere quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. We would highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I LOVED our valley view villa with private pool. It's a quick 7 minute complimentary ride into Ubud, the staff called us by name, the food was reasonably priced, it's beyond gorgeous, a huge breakfast is included, so on. I only wish the private pool was a little warmer but it was refreshing after being at the gym. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to completely relax at a small intimate resort up to Four Seasons standards-I actually preferred this place to the Four Seasons.

Nice luxurious resort but, as can be expected due to it's small size, with limitations in facilities, eg. dining options etc. Its location in a peaceful and quiet area area away from Ubud town itself also means you're not in walking distance from the shops and restaurants, but the regular shutlle service provided takes less than 15 minutes, making it farily convenient still. I had a couple of small gripes about hardware issues; promised wifi that was not functioning well near my room resulting in regular walks to the main lobby with laptop in hand for email downloads, while the room layout while no doubt luxurious was not ideal, and lighting while designed for ambience could be improved and increased in several areas. The lingering memory from my stay however would be the outstanding service from everybody at Komaneka Tanggayuda. Driver, reception, restaurant staff, I mean everybody. Friendly, warm and, just as important but often overlooked, knowledgeable and with good enough language skills to converse comfortably with.

Wonderful Hotel, especially the valley pool villas. I can recommend the villa 107, whcih has one of the best views. Nice large Room, Sony TV and DVD Player. very clean (except some small lizzards in the room), large daybed, nice plunge pool. very clean and spacious, wonderful restaurant, nice library with internet, Wifi available in lobby, library and restaurant. Nice Gym. Pool and poll bar and restaurant very nice! STaff ist very very friendly, helpful and makes the stay wonderful. The hotel is 15 min drive out of Ubud. but the shuttle is every hour and you can rest in the sister hotel near the monkey forest and enjoy all their services as well during waiting for the shuttle to go back. The hotel is nice for relaxation, and rest. Food was wonderful and tasty, even the breakfast. I like it there. Every afternoon an afte3rnoon tea with nice sweet and spicy food. Everything is very clean and maintanance is good. The hourly shuttle takes you to town, and car with driver for rent also possible. As it is outside the town, you only here the birds and geckos at night and the rain .... large library with TV and PC, Ipods for rent available, Flat TV near restaurant available. WiFi in lobby, library and restaurant available. A moon shape, overflow pool. with nice views on the rice paddies to the opposite. Hotel is not cheap but good value for money! Food in REstaurnat has very good standard and is cheap compared to int. Hotel chains.
