Inter-Continental Resort Bali is set in beautiful landscaped tropical gardens along the white sand beach at Jimbaran Bay. The resort enjoys a great location and combines elements of the traditional and modern world. Offering high standards of opulence throughout its traditional low-rise Balinese buildings, the resort rooms are well-appointed and luxurious, providing all the amenities, facilities and levels of comfort that discerning guests appreciate. The west facing location takes full advantage of the world famous Bali sunsets that make for perfectly romantic moments in this tropical paradise. Its gardens are landscaped with lagoons, waterfalls and ornamental pools, sculpted in ancient palatial motifs. A royal setting, where plush opulance is the norm, the Inter-Continental Resort has everything the tourist and business traveller could wish for and more.

Booked on Singaraja room but was full when check in and we were up graded to club, though it was garden view the room was big and beaitiful with big lounge chair in the room, outside balcony with 2 comfortable sun chairs, also flat screen tv, hifi system, dvd player, coffee machine, mini bar, wardrobe with dressing table and 2 basins, bath tub, shower room and seperate toilet room. Fantastic hotel with beautiful grounds. This is my 4th time back and I would definitely recommend it. It's quite far from the shops and restaurants at Seminyak - but you really feel like you're in a different world at this hotel. Guaranteed to relax anyone.

Good value for regular room booked on the net. Hotel feels old but facilities are very good. Club is way over-priced. I suggest booking a regular room and then take the hotel offer upon check in for upgrade to Club (usually lower but subject to availability). Also, try the local sea-front seafood (non-hotel) restaurant nearby.

Overall, my stay at the InterContinental Resort Bali was terrific. Great walk down the Jimbaran beach right next to the swimming pool. The Jazz and Latin bands were really cool to listen to, especially while swimming in the pool, watching the setting sun. The ambience is really great. I found it hard to leave the hotel for the airport at the end of my stay.

A very impressive hotel. The service was outstanding and the food and drink outlets, although not cheap, were a good quality.

We love the room and would stay whole day in it, the pools and garden areas and bale bale were clean and beautiful, beach was clean and well maintained with hotel staff 'sweeping' the sand everyday, there were enough sun bathing chairs for everyone with privacy. Had dinner in one of the seafood restaurants on left side of Jimbaran beach, 3mins walk from hotel beach, the food was awesome and great veiw unfortunately didn't witness the sunset as it was cloudy that evening. Do put lots of mosquito/ insect repellant while going out especially in the evening. Over all great 5 star hotel exceded my expectation, friendly staff, good location, good price from hoteltravel.com. Will recommend to all my friends to Bali.

We booked and confirmed for a Singaraja room with King size bed 2 months in advance, but were only told when we arrived that the room we booked is not available and they "upgraded" us to a Japanese suite. The suite is old, noisy and there is even mosquito. We complaint and managed to change to the room we booked the next day which is good. Otherwise the overall service is not bad, we like the hotel pools and the landscaping is very nice.

Excellent atmosphere. Safe/elegant hotel with great staffs armed with smile.
Best for enjoying peace, but need to ask hotel for noting their staffs not to knock on your door for brochures and other papers.
A bit far, but not too far, to hang out to Kuta(downtown), and it's 'META' taxi for round trip of about USD 70. Having wishes to enjoy downtown, gotta think twice.
No matter what I said, I don't deny it's the best hotel in Bali.

One of the few hotels to be situated right on Jimbaran beach, we had an excellent time at this resort. One would have to get taxis to get to the main shopping area in Bali but it was ideal staying in this resort as it was away from the commercial parts of Bali. The food at the various beach seafood stalls was excellent. An excellent choice if you want to relax and chill out in Bali. Would not recommend for the sporty types that are interested in surfing etc .

Security is excellent which is foremost important to us. All the staff are friendly and attentive. I am not into spa and it is my wife who is into spa but the spa treatment was excellent as far as i am concern and i enjoy it. The only regret that me and my wife had is that we did not bring along our 3 kids which we always do in our trips so the next time we go back to bali and in bali intercontinental hotel in particular, we will surely bring our 3 kids with us, hopefully in the near future...secured, clean, beautiful, world-class.

My wife and I I had a great time at the Intercontinental Jimbaran Bay. We were made to feel like honored guests from the first moment of our arrival (dig the whole ringing the gong thing), registration was quick and our welcome cocktail was very tasty. And of course, the best news, they had upgraded my wife and I from a standard room in the deluxe Singaraja Wing to a suite! Definitely a plus for our honeymoon.
The suite was certainly one of the most pleasant rooms I’ve stayed in in any hotel. Large, comfortable and airy, and equipped with two TVs – a large on in the living room area and a smaller one in the bedroom. The furniture and decoration were all fine, and the bathroom was certainly up to scratch (very important to my wife). Coming from Japan, where even rooms in top-name five star hotels can be tiny, we felt like royalty.
The rest of the hotel was up to the same standard. Impressive, but still comfortable lobby, beautifully maintained grounds and gardens, lots of water features and seven swimming pools. Okay, some of the pools are really nothing more than shallow “fun” kids pools, but they’re imaginatively designed and all feel very different from each other. The main one that you see pictured in all the brochures has a swim-up bar and a great view of the beach and Indian Ocean.
Oh, did I mention the beach? This was the reason I booked this hotel, and it was most definitely the high point of our stay here. The stretch of beach outside the Intercontinent
