For the price and it's location great option. If you don't wanna stay in the noisy hussle and bustle of Kuta, this is your best budget hotel option. Nice quiet grounds, beautiful pool, only 5-10 minutes walk to the action. Breakfast was abit to varied for me. One day I could get bacon, the next 2 I couldnt. 1 day was chicken sausage, the next nasi goreng. Although could get eggs - any way - cooked right in front of you every day. Overall Happy holidayer.

Staff basically insulted me and provided poor service. Did not reply to any of my complaints. Rooms were pretty poor as well.

The breakfast is good, with a good variety of option available. The swimming pool is nicely maintained. The room TV is poorly designed, which result in knocking the head against the TV rack, if not careful. There tends to be many mosquitoes in the room as well. The room is also small for a family of three.

When I arrived at the hotel, it was quite late and the staff offered me free upgrade to superior room as standard room already full. The breakfast is not so tasty. Dint having much as food variety not much also. Overall, the hotel is value for money. Short walking distance to kuta beach and legian street.

Great location, friendly staff, nice pool but I am completely covered in bites from bed bugs. They moved me to another room but I am still covered from head to toe in bites.

We stayed a day in superior room and it was great. They got good sized bed, cool aircon, flat screened tv, better water system, and it was absolutely clean. We also tried their std rm...the size was big enough for 2, with bath tub w/c is unusual for just a std rm w/c was good. However, aircon doesnt worked out well...so checked on this sole thing before you occupy the room. Other than this, everything is good esp the restaurant staffs who are really accommodating and helpful to us..

Great hotel, good pool, very quiet as down a little ally, short walk to good shopping centre, market stalls, resturants, and only a little bit further to beach. Cheap but I was suprised with how good, the women were even happy. Clean, A/C, own bar and resturant, great free breakfast. found a great person Nyoman who helped me with transport, and other things, very helpful, worth the tips I gave him. Had a great holiday, and bought a watch or 15 also. Robert

The staff are very friendly and helpful. It has a massage service which is very good. The breakfast and food is pretty average but the location is great. Right next to the Matahari shopping centre and close to lots of shopping

Rooms were very dirty, asked to be moved and was given a room that was still dirty, unmade bed, phone not working and light globes blown. I was prepared to pay extra to move kids to another hotel but they decided to stay there to sleep only and spent all there time elsewhere. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed at other hotels for same price and excellent locations. Have told our guide not to recommend this hotel and showed him the rooms.

Check in was not easy for us.We booked for 4 adults but the reception told us having no confirmation.and they offered us 2 rooms,price 90 usd for 70 usd,but we didnt accept,because we had a confirmation.At last,after 3 hours negotiate,they offered 2 rooms,which were 18 usd more expensive than we have booked.So we took it because many hotels were full and we were very tired of travelling that day and like to sleep for a while.They made excuses but nothing else more.

I love the Ida and have stayed here before. The only complaint I did have this time was the third floor room 147 I first was allocated. The shower did not have a rose so the water just poured out every where and the sewerage smell in the bathroom was not pleasant. I did request the shower be repaired but after 5 days nothing was done. Finally I moved downstairs to a pool front room which was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend this motel and the friendly staff make it a pleasant stay all round.

The hotel is in a good spot for shopping, dining and not too far from the beach. They could have had a bit more choice for breakfast but the meals are not too bad. We had a very noisy room with the people in the next building making a lot of noise in the morning. I would stay there again just asking for a different room

Well located and qiuet, except for nighlty music from the dining area till 11pm a bit to loud if you are tired from a days Baliing Hotel being upgraded and not before time ,our shower area and hot water service was dangerously hot and nearly impossible to control, but would stay again.

Reception staff were inept and unfriendly. Restaurant tables and chairs were sticky and dirty. Complimentary arrival drink was a soft drink.Loud TV at breakfast time to entertain staff. Massage staff constantly harass passing guests.Bathroom flooded into bedrooms in both suites. Front door to both "suites" were cracked and falling off hinges. Beds were wobbly and bed linen was stained. Towels were older than guest.Cigarette smoke from neighbouring rooms made breathing difficult. Expect the worst.

Liked this place a lot. Surprisingly nice room for that price - fresh and clean, excellent bathroom. Very quiet and relaxing location, though not very far from the center and the beach. Certainly i would recommend this place and will stay there more.

I was so happy that we arrived so late at night and that we just booked for one night, we sleep with ouer clothes on becuse it was so dirty and the smell was really bad. and in the bathroom there was so dirty in the bathtub it still was hair and stuff ,so we just try to sleep and get out of there. When I first come to the hotel, I even don't want to travel again. The room was quite big, but feel very bad. No drinkable water provided, while most of hotels will provide such common items. I even found a "Cute TV robot" (14' TV with antennas)!!!

i like that it was walking distance to the mall next door and other nearby shops. food was very accessible even in the middle of the night. staff were very helpful and friendly, even to the extend of going out to help us buy mineral water in the middle of the night for no extra charge. the breakfast was boring. very very limited choices but ok. better than nothing.

This is my 1st holiday, n ihave to say everything is new. The hotel environment was nice, the garden ad swimming pool was very nice and sweet. Of course there are a few drawbacks in the hotel. The location is secluded, i mean for some it would be wonderful. Its secluded from the busy streets of kuta, so a plus for some and minus for others. Next is the television has no english channels AT ALL. That is davestating for me, coz i am a tv freak. I must have english tv at home. And lastly is there is no water heater, so for those of you who dont mind bathing in the cold, by all means, enjoy! But overall, the experience there was nice and sweet. for the price we paid was ok....

Location was key in our choice of Ida Hotel & we loved the independence we had to walk to bars, Matahari and shopping. Very clean Balinese losman style accom with outside bathroom that was great. The Staff were fantastic as our group partied quite late! Great Kuta experience!!! I would book here again for a Kuta stay- thanks guys!!
