Grand Hyatt Bali has been constructed as a 'water palace' with lakes, landscaped gardens and six swimming pools surrounding low-rise Balinese style buildings, making it a truely exotic tropical island getaway. It is a true crown jewel of resorts and offers the comfort of a first-class hotel with the relaxing tranquility of a secluded beach resort. The rooms and suites feature lavish interior design that utilises muted batik fabrics, graceful bamboo and the many native arts and crafts of Bali. Set amidst a tropical eden, the resort pampers its guests with outstanding eateries, an array of in-house and on the beach activities. Business facilities too are good and executives will certainly be satisfied with the state-of-the-art conference, meeting and banqueting facilities on offer. For a complete holiday, one that fulfills your every dream, the Grand Hyatt Bali is an obvious choice.

Compared to neighbouring hotels i visited , i felt the Grand Hyatt was the best choice for its location on a wide and long uncrowded beach. The service from all the staff was excellent. The Hotel and grounds were clean and well maintained. We had a fantastic holiday....

Very good hotel for families with children 4yo and above. There should be swimming pools for babies and toddlers. Excellent staff, gardens, location and beach. Went there for a family/surfing holiday and surf spots within wlaking distance make the place very good. Will probably return.

The ocean view room have pond off the balcony with fishes in it, which attracts some wild local creature like birds and frogs to visit the pond frequently, during my stay, I seen even a lizard about 1 meter long swiming there. which really made my stay a very special experience. Beside these, the overall facilities and service are nice, the thing very unacceptable is too many flies in restaurants, I feel the breakfast are too simple either, and the local tour package provide in the hotel are far too expensive compare to what I got in airport. It was provided for those whose didn't take the chance to collect those demo. in airport.

The bedroom was very nice & big. We had to insist to get the Ocean View we had paid for. It was worth it. Beautiful view, perfect bathroom. Average quality breakfast buffet. Great amenities, pools, nice white sand beach with beautiful trees but too many cigarettes buds (common in Bali). We used a few times Room Service for diner: very limited choice and last diner was pretty bad. One last negative thing: the internet. It's very slow, probably the worse we had in Indo and was outrageously expensive: about 20$ a day! Overall we loved our stay and will go back.

The swimming pool is too dirty to swim, and has tepid water. The color of the sea in front of the hotel is good but has too many small and sharp reefs, so it is not suitable to swim. The breakfast is very poor. The garden and ground is just huge without taste and convenience. In a word, Grand Hayatt is just big hotel.

I like this hotel because I brought my parents and my child, it was very very convenient for us.The hotel is near Bali collection compare to the other hotel, it is the nearest one. I've checked with 5 other hotels in Nusa Dua area, it was the best one. The panoramic of the sea from the lobby i think is the best part of this hotel. No other hotel is like it. The lounge is also the best.

Depeding on Room location, i guess satisfaction would be different. Mine was poor. Too far from beach, and pool. And, overall service from hotel was not good. Finally, morning buffet need to be huge improved.

On the 20th May, 16 of us checked into this hotel after a long and delayed flight from Australia. We got to the hotel at about 3.00 am and our childrens' beds were not even made. It took management about half hour to locate the necessary staff to make the beds and another half hour to make the beds. The staff making the beds at this time were not welcoming and extremely rude. By this time we were ready to sleep, but the noise from the adjacent rooms was just unbearable. The walls felt as they were paper thin and noise travelled through so easily. After several hours of sleep we examined the room more closely and found that the wet areas were quite dirty, grimy and mouldy. The smell of mould and mildew was quite disgusting. We asked to be transferred into another room, but this request was not honoured. It was unfortunate that our stay at the grand Hyatt was for seven days. The facilities were far from 5 star quality. The water in the pools was not crystal clear and looked quite hazy. There were absolutely no water sports for guests made available. We were quite fortunate that the Conrad was within a short distance and we were able to use their facilities due to other friends staying there at the time. The restaurants were not updated and food was poor. On one night we paid about $50 AUD for dinner accompanied by a traditional Balinese show at the Grand Hyatt, but the food and entertainment was far from acceptable. On that same night some of our baggage was misplaced and staff were far from helpful and not willing to believe that the baggage was lost on their premises. After a tiring night we ordered ice cream via room service and paid about $16USD per scoop, quite ridiculous. It was extremely fortunate that the hotel was close to the local plaza where food was aplenty and very reasonably priced, entertainment was enjoyable and shopping was a treat. At checkout we waited close to 2 hours for staff to collect our luggage. Luckily the local Balinese people, our transfer to the next destination, were patient and very kind and made no attempt to complain about the wait. We also paid an extraoridanry amount for 2 national calls made to Australia. The hotel has made no attempt to reimburse us for this unfortunate stay. I recommend that people who wish to holiday in Nusa Dua pay just a little more and stay at the Conrad.

We stay there from 6th to 13th of February and that time there was rain season. It wasn’t a problem at all, because it rains late evening, at nighttime or early at morning. Beach was very big and lot of space. Every place was natural parasol (trees) on the peach and pool. Breakfast was good (three place). Hotel room, shower and balcony were clean and enough big. Only minus in room were very small ants (must keep sweat drinks and snacks in refrigerator). All hotel facilities, garden were good condition and in hotel area located many first-rate shops. I recommend that place people and families who like peaceable peach and surfing. Sometimes waves are high so small child can’t swim in the sea, but there is nice pools for them. Next time same hotel when I go to Bali.

Hotel’s atmosphere was so nice, but the room was moldy, and the blanket was humid. This hotel must be excellent one if these two problems are resolved.

Very quiet location so great for relaxing beach holiday or business conference but too isolated if you want to experience the local culture, shopping, etc. They dont have a shuttle service as some others do. Huge complex. Be prepared to get lost in first few days of stay.

It was my wif's 50th birthday and so we planned this far east trip. We first travelled to Tahiland then Malaysia to Singapore to then Bali. The hotels were wonderful and they all gave us special treatment, being the 5oth. We booked the hotel Grand Hyatt through hotel.com whose service was very effecient. When we arrived at the hotel Hyatt we were just taken straight to our room with a just small fruit basket. Other arrivals were greeted with garlands and shown around the hotel. I told the receptionist about our special holiday but they were not interested and no special treatment despite being a big hotel. The room, we were told was newly built but the wooden floor was chipped, the venetian blind through the bathroom to bedroom was broken, the furniture looked very old, the toiled was filled with water to the top, we were afraid to flush, the hair dryer was locked in ther drawer and was uncomfortable to use as it was pluged inside the drawer, they did not refill the tea and coffee tray everyday we had to ask and there was no where to plug the kettle, again this was locked inside the cabinet and did not have proper place for it. Overall compare to other countries we visited and were all 4 star hotels, they all seemed 5 star and the rooms were very clean seemed very new and fresh, and we were given a very special treatment which made my wife's birthday very special comapre to this big hotel Hyatt, although outside it was very good, the pool was good, beach was clean, staff

Recently refurbished rooms looking refreshed although more could have been done. No noise or disturbance from the other wings which are still being upgraded. Staff were generally very friendly and breakfast was good. The pools and the beach were very nice although the ocean had a lot more seaweed this time. Very nice weather in April. Compared to a year ago, Bali has seen a significant rise in tourist arrivals.
