Hotel was good, great location and staff were fab. I booked a deluxe room but my friends had booked the next one down there was no difference in the rooms so on that front I was disappointed. Poolside is lovely and even when busy there is still a sense of privacy. The hotel was lovely to come back to at the end of the day.

One major disappointment is the attitude of the person working in the photo studio (for free photos) Horrible attitude and if he is the only reason I go to this hotel next time, I can guarantee you that there will never be a next time! Hard Rock Hotel is one of our favourite places to stay when in Bali. The location is great, the rooms are clean, large and uncluttered and the pool is amazing. Great for families and singles. Breakfast is delicious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, meals and drinks are quite pricey for Bali standards. Overall a fun stay and we will be back.

We took long time to check in to the hotel - 45min. Although i have present my voucher for reference but still they cannot find my reservation record.On the other hand, they have out of room for us. Suppose we have 1 king size bed but we can only get 2 twin size bed. I really hope that you can feedback this comment to the hotel. i think 45min is too much for guests to wait for their room check-in.

The room was not very modern, but was clean. The hotel may be going for a retro look, but I think inside the room should be updated a bit. The hotel was absolutely fantastic apart from the room. The pool is superb but the water is far too warm. I went and swam in the relax pool and the water temperature was much better. All in all a great place to stay, but please make the water a lot cooler in the big pool, you are supposed to feel refreshed when you go for a swim.

Rooms have not been properly maintained and look a bit down. Further, the towels look slightly brwon and not white. The TV is disappointing as it is a small 20 inch set and the floor seems to be slightly wet all the time.

We stayed in a deluxe room near the lobby area. It can be noisy at night since there are always some events happening in the big bar. Room size is okay but decor is pretty basic. The bathroom is not properly ventilated, with a damp smell in the room, which the room refresher tried to hide. The room size for superior and deluxe room is the same, the only difference is that guests in a deluxe room can use a private pool. Hence we felt a bit cheated. The swimminng pool is huge but only two simple water slides: not so fun as advertised for children. The kids club is nice for children, though even inhouse guests have to pay an hourly fee to use it. The hotel location is very convenient, right next to the Kuta beach and shops. This hotel feels like a 3-star hotel with a branded image. It is good for mass tourists who like the convenience, not for travellers who prefer a more resort-style stay.

Rooms require refurnishing. Mosquitos were there despite repellent round the clock with window closed at all time. Toilet bowl design is bad as it gave bad odour even after flushing several times. Towels are old and not washed well.

Our 5th stay was as amazing as ever, the staff were polite, the rooms were immaculate and everyone was accomodating as usual. On arriving our room wasn't quite what we had requested, but the staff had no issues with moving us to something more suitable for our stay. Will without a doubt visit again!

I have chosen HardRock Bali Hotel due to good review from previous guest. However, when step into my room, at least 3 mosquitoes greeted me in the door step. I have to turn on the electric mosquitoes repellent throughout my 4 days stay which I purchased it at the shop outside of the hotel. The furniture is very old and wear down. The worst of all, every morning around 6am, my family will have to wake by the morning call from nearby Roosters till at least 12pm, we do not have a good night sleep at all. My 4 stays in HardRock is completely disappointed and it is highly not recommended.

Nice hotel to experienxe for a few nights, but you can find better value for money from other hotels in Kuta. I also strongly suggest you to visit also other places in Bali (e.g. Ubud). Rooms are a bit old, and they are "nothing special", which you coud expect from the price or HRH-brand. Location OK.

Watch out for unfamiliar local Bali or Indonesian Holiday Rates including Hindu Holidays such as Nypnia when they almost double rates for foreign guests but not Indonesians. Best deals are online which do not have all the +++ hidden charges or at least online transparent whereas walk-in traffic pays very high rates. Toilet is new super low profile model and prone to not flushing without three attempts.Bathroom shower is on handicap slide rack which is not tight dropping to midget height if not held up.Watch out the 1% hidden surcharge tax on anything that is paid for using the room key, better to charge with credit card and save fee.

The room is not clean, it's old and shabby. Seems to be not maintained properly. Get a better price at Mecure Bali with a cleaner room and better ambience. The facilities wise are good.

Right in the middle of the Kuta hotspot. Very convenient for shopping and food. Traffic congestion can be a nuisance though. Hotel is good in all aspect, but it's not the typical Balinese style villas.

Hard Rock Hotel Bali is in my opinion a good hotel. Excellent location, nice staff, and trendy. The hotel is classified as five star hotel but globally I would classify it as four star hotel. The biggest minus is too hard beds of the rooms.

This hotel had excellent service personnel. Of exceptional note were 1) the hotel housekeeping staff; I had inadvertently left my room safe open and housekeeping promptly contacted their manager for necessary action; 2);set everything up so we literally jut had to show up in the lobby each morning to be picked up and whisked to our activity. 3) The Guest Relations Manager, took special interest to greet and go out of his way to get to know guests; the Starz Diner waitstaff who were extremely courteous and friendly during breakfast buffets. The hotel on the whole was conveniently located and within easy reach to beach, good restaurants and plenty of shopping. For families with children, this is a hotel that is value for money and has an array of activities for children. The hotel's center stage had bands playing most nights we were there (we were there during Christmas holidays); we were in a deluxe room and could hear the band...so if you sleep early while on vacation this may be a concern...however, by midnight, the band stops playing and all is quiet. This hotel gave us exceptional service and is great value for money. I found and reserved through HotelTravel.com because, after comparing prices for this hotel on other webstes, HotelTravel.com gave me the best rate and it was easy to make and get confirmation on the reservation. I will definitely highly recommend this hotel, as well as recommend the HotelTravel.com website to others.

This was our second time staying in HR hotel. There are many facilities available in the hotel catered for the various age group. There are also many shops around this area but you must be prepared to bargain so that you can get the best deal. We even rented a small car for about USD15 per day somewhere near the hotel.

The bathroom light reflected through its tinted window and shone onto the bed. Hence,i found it too bright to sleep in.In order to switch off the toilet lights, the lightings in the room would have to be switched off. Their breakfast was ok and customer service was excellant. What i like most was the location of HRC which was very near to Kuta Square & beach.

Where to start? Hard Rock Hotel is not for everyone. If you like The Beatles and Stones by the pool it is great (I do), romantic honeymoon resort, probably not. The rooms are spacious and clean. But they are showing their age now. The freeform pool is really fantastic, the best we have been to. Staff are friendly, helpful and polite. The main bar and its evening band Siluet are great fun and the band makes a point of meeting with guests and playing their requests. The Wednesday 'spectatular' is bizarre but great fun, not to be missed. The location is very central and near to shops and other facilities. However, the traffic in the area is awful. The beach opposite is almost unuseable, due to the hawkers and resport/time share salesmen - stay by the pool. Security is excellent, private security company with police back-up, a bit impossing at first, but exactly as it should be under the circumstances. Other attractions - Legian area (3 km from Hard Rock) is great for local arts and crafts, watersports (arrange in the hotel) at Nusa Dur are very good (if expensive). TIP: do not hire a car. To go anywhere across the island you have to go through Dempresar which is clogged with traffic and then you have to negotiate Kuta.......! I would recommend The Hard Rock Hotel to anyone determined to go to Bali, particularly if you like 60s/70s music, even The Beasty Boys at breakfast seemed in context.

The standard of service for breakfast for the three days that the Orthodontist conference was on was way below normal standards. Sometimes there was a que of around 20 to 30 people waiting for a table which then resulted in ques for every breakfast station. The hotel pools are fabulous and music is good. Location is very central for beach and shops.

We had a great time, we swithced room once because it was too close to center stage and was noisy. If you want peace and quiet, Hard Rock is not the place, if you want activities, action, and close to beach and shopping, then it is the place. Great, friendly staff, most able to communicate in english. Compared to hotels in America, Hard Rock Bali gives you a lot for your money.

I stayed at Hard Rock Hotel for three days, which was so cool and convenient. It stands a fine location at the center of the Kuta area that it has many restaurants, shops, money exchange shops, night spots etc. And the pool is good enough to enjoy the whole day. The atmosphere in the hotel is so vivid that you can feel you are really in HOLIDAYS!! The reception area is somewhat small that you'd better to check out a littlle earlier, if not, you may wait some time before the check out is completed. The Hard Rock Cafe, the entrance of which is for free for a Hard Rock Hotel guests, is a good club, too. But they'd be better to take actions on the women near the bar area,who seemed to be whore. Except that, I really enjoyed it, and the live performance of the band named Asia Reform was so excellent.
