The hotel has got a good location by Lake Bratan but it is so poorly managed. Thats why I cut short my stay to only one night. The cottages are poorly lit and there is no satellite TV.My husband and I were very unhappy with stay. The place really needs to be kept well if you want anyone to stay longer.

Rooms were quite dirty. Cigarette holes and stains on sheets. Very dark rooms. Bathroom that looked like it was last renovated in the 70s. Very diirty napkin holders on breakfast table.

The website stated that all rooms have TV, Aircon, Minibar however the room that we were given didn't have any of these items. The bed was awful and sagged in the middle so we asked to be moved the next day and were obliged with the same type of room but a better bed. The TV, Aircon and Minibar were not in the rooms that are being given to your clients. These are only available to the more expensive rooms...so we spent 3 nights without them when we were expecting those facilities. The room was clean but the 1st room we were given had a saggy bed and we had to ask to be moved the next morning after a shocking night of not much sleep. All facilities other than the restaurant are now closed down due to lack of tourists/business we suppose. Only the up market rooms have the full facilities and drive by traffic are charged over RP500.000 per night for those. Not worth the money we paid compared to rooms we have used in other areas of Bali. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and food in restaurant nice. Bedugul is lovely and cool but not much to do after a few nights stay. Staff were friendly and happy to help where possible. Being next door to the water temple was a nice place to stay but no transport was close by, in fact nothing much was close by. We didn't use local transport, we walked when we needed to go somewhere...we do tend to walk a long way in Bali. Nothing available, the spa and convenience store are both no longer in use. There is no s
