Bunga Permai Hotel in Ubud, Bali has become the annual refuge from the hustle and bustle of work for my wife and I. Located in the village of Kedewatan, the hotel continues to provide an air of serenity and tranquility which is well suited to those stressed out during the rest of the year. A must for those who stay there is the 2 hour (shorter if you don't get distracted by the scenary) trek from the hotel through the padi fields, villages, fields, valleys and across rivers to the town of Ubud. Ask the staff for the directions and a copy of the map for the trek. The staff are great and provide service quickly and at all times of the day. There are more facililites there now from the last time I was there and the pool amenities now include a jacuzi. I strongliy recommend this hotel to those seeking for a different kind of atmosphere to that of Kuta Beach and Legian Street. I will be going there again in 2007! Azrul Mohd khalib, Malaysia
Hotel Bunga Permai was the perfect home in Bali for my wife and I on our holiday. We found the tranquility, peace and beauty we were expecting on our holiday, but unexpectedly, we also found genuine welcome, warmth and comfort in the staff of the hotel. We loved that the hotel was nestled amidst lush green mountains with amazing hiking trails nearby. We loved that we slept to the sound of a rushing river stream, and awoke to the brilliant sun shining on Mount Agung in the distance. Bali was so much more beautiful to us because of this.
