The Balisani Padma is a quaint hotel that is slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta but within walking distance to most popular spots. I found the staff very professional and friendly while allowing you the freedom to relax and enjoy your stay. The facilities are similar to a 2 star hotel, a few cracks and maybe some badly needed paint, but don't let this stop you staying there, this is great value for money place but if I were you I would upgrade to superior accomodation near the pool, it's great....

We needed 5 rooms during the peak season and this was the only hotel avaiable at the time of booking. Hotel Travel Service was swift/prompt and you can expect almost immmediate response...We all had standard rooms at Balisani and the rooms are small, dark and dingy. The windows need to be open all the time to let the light in, the bathtub had weird yellow or black stains all over and there are no water outlets on the bathroom floor.( so prepare to flood your rooms if you are not careful or you have to wait for the water to evaporate)..... Its near to the beach but you have to re-route your way there which makes it a 15-20 mins walk.... Only plus point is they have a nice bar at the pool but dont expect to have the whole pool to yourself. Its always crowded. Breakfast was awfull. Overrall, park your money elsewhere unless you love old architecture and living in the past. We found out we can easily find another place (newer/nicer/nearer to the beach)

The food is good but not enough. The sheet is not clean. There is rat runing on the roof at night. I'd like pay more money for a better hotel at least clean and convenint.

Overall, the decor and facilities is great for the price paid, however noise level is terrible as one can hear from the other rooms. Kind of disturbing. If you can sleep through people talking in the other room till 2 or 4am and the housekeeping staff clean the rooms next door at 10 or 11am this is the hotel for you. next to the hotel there is a booking booth you can request for rental. And is only walking distance to the beach and shopping.

For the price you are getting I would say it is much worth the value, definately is not a place for family to put up. The rooms are much smaller compare to the pics. It would be a nice place for single or couple. Out of the hotel just 10mtr across the road there is an access to the beach about 100mtrs away. I would rate the hotel 3 stars or of 5. for single or couple travellers. 2 star out of 5 for family.

The rooms are very run-down. Not enough light at night-time. Very noisy - could hear every word said in the adjacent room. Rooms are very crowded. The air-con did not have enough power to cool the room sufficiently, even though it was set to the coolest settings, the temperature in the room never went below 26 degrees
