I go to Bali every month and normally stayed at another hotel in Nyuh Kuning, this is my frst time here. Excellent location, believe me. Quiet and secluded on a hillside with a river in front. If you know the area, you can walk through Monkey Forest to Monkey Forest Road within 10 minutes, along quiet country lanes. I would grab a torchlight and walk home in the enenings after dinner instead of taking a taxi or queue for the hotel transport. The local food in the restaurant is by far better than many restaurants in Ubud. Who wants to eat european food while in Bali anyway?...

The location is good, close to traditional market and most of the places which you like to visit. Not many choices for the food, no buffet for breakfast. No slippers and shower cap in the bathroom. Generally it is a good hotel, very friendly.

The room and the atmosphere all around the hotel were excellent. Tranquil & fresh air. We walked down to the Wons river beneath the coffee shop and play by the river. Me and my family were having great time at the hotel. The administration process when check in was also very simple and convenient, thanks a lot to HotelTravel.com. Nothing more I can say than it's a highly recomended hotel for family vacation or honeymooner. Experiencing is believing :)

Hotel is very nice. We booked the Emerald room but got upgraded to a suite so I shouldn't complain....however our suite was right next to some construction and it was noisy. Restaurant over looks a river. Very nice setting and staff are nice and helpful.

It was a great value for the money. Location was great even it was a bit furter away from centrum but took about 15min walk to the centrum. View was really excellent!Breakfest wasn´t anything special.

Hotel is located near river on bluff so for elderly people it might be hard to walk there. Staff very nice and very helpful. Beautiful gardens. Walk through Monkey forest to Ubud centre, it takes aprox 30 min.

this is my 2nd time staying at Bali Spirit hotel and we got upgraded to a Bali Aga suite due to the Emerald rooms were fully occupied when we arrived. the Bali Aga suite was fabulous!! the hotel servie is as good as before and I would definitely stay there again..

Staff at the Bali Spirit were very very professional, friendly and very helpful. It has all of the basic facilities I would expect of a hotel, but not outstandingly different.The photos show a bright colourful room, whereas we had a plain, not-so-bright room. Also, almost daily, some animal/critter left droppings in our bathtub. The room service for meals is exactly that - excellent - tasty and well prepared food. The hotel shuttle service is very good - my only comment is that it should be hourly rather than 2 hourly.

Great environment. A bit far from town center, but easy to get taxi from town or hotel staffs will help to call for taxi. Morning breakfast next to stream is beautiful. Out door shower is cool and nice. At night it is very quiet. Will come back for next trip.

slightly out of town but quiet & peaceful place...beautiful gardens and with a river nearby. Outside toilet & shower kinda nice and different. We stayed at River Villa for 2 nites and love our room but the villa was quite at the bottom of the hotel and had to walk all the way down and up.

Great value for money...This hotel met all my expectations except that there isn't any toiletries (eg. shower cap, cotton tips etc.) the Emerald room we stayed is clean n spacious n nicely decorated with most neccessities in place except tv (no tv in Emerald rooms, tv available only in suites), but since we don't watch indonesia programs so its not important. If u really need to watch some tv, u can use the common area tv located few steps away from or rooms or go to the Bar to watch the large screen one. The Emerald rooms at level 1 all has open air garden showers.
The hotel surroundings surpasses my expectations...nice garden landscaping makes u feel like living in the forest itself. Trees n bushes separates each room to provide privacy. Extremely peaceful n quite settings for utmost relaxation. There's only one restaurant in the hotel premise, breakfast in the morning is non-buffet style. You order from a fixed 3 type of BF sets: indonesian, american or continental. The BF is probably the only thing that is not so impressive item in the hotel, but the food r quite tasty though..plus the scenery at the restaurant is very nice, with a river flowing right beside.
There is a regular shuttle service (aircon mini van) that runs from the hotel to Ubud town, start from 10am to 10pm, intervals vary from 1hr to 4hrs depending on demand (meal times more frequent). If you prefer private transport at ur own timing, it is only IDR5000 per person, quite cheap n convenient.

this hotel has a great location. The grounds and sjurrounding area are fantastic with a great river running alongside. free bus every hour or so to and from the centre of ubud and staff were great. Outside toilet and shower was a bit strange though.

the hotel layout was lovely, it almost felt Like a village. the food was good and reasonably priced. the location was lovely, with gorgeous views over a river valley but it is quite far from town. however there are frequent free shuttle buses so we didnt feel this was a problem. the massages were excellent.

Every staff is nice and friendly. The out side shower room feelings nice with a nature kind. I like this hotel. But a swimming pool is little small.
