Bali Hyatt with its distinctive architecture and lush tropical gardens abounding with exotic foliage and secluded lily ponds, is well loved for its timeless appeal, blending into the serene village life of Sanur. The Bali Hyatt lovingly features alang-alang thatched roofs, natural wood finishes and local fabric throughout the rooms and public areas, integrating traditions of Balinese hospitality to take the hotel into its third decade. Guests can enjoy a wide range of resort hotel facilities, from water sports, badminton, tennis and volleyball to relaxing on the resort's beach or by the pool while the children are entertained at Bali Hyatt's Camp Sanur. The hotel restaurants provide a tempting array of international cuisines worth sampling and you can rejuvenate body and soul with aromatherapy and massage treatments at the in-house spa. The recipient of awards for its dedication to environmentally responsible tourism and nature conservation, this is certainly one of the more popular 5 star resorts on the island.

We always enjoy coming back to Bali Hyatt. The service and hospitality makes you feel so welcomed and really makes the whole experience a positive one. The only negative point was that we were shown to a room with three single beds when in fact we had booked a king size bed and rollaway bed for my young son. Not sure who's fault. After a little persistence they found a room that met our request. We look forward to returning to the Bali Hyatt on our next trip....

beauiful gardens surrounding the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We upgraded to the regency club rooms which gave us access to the regency club for afternooon drinks and canapes and complimentary tea and coffee and soft drinks all day if we wanted them. Our room had a beautiful verandah with sun loungers surrounded by tropical plants and trees - you could sit there all day just to watch the squirrels and birds playing in the trees. The Hotel Spa is the best I have ever used -- this was our eleventh trip to Bali.

Our stay at this hotel was just perfect. This is our 3’d stay in Bali and the best.
Yes the hotel is probably 40 years old so it’s not a new plastic everything painted white hotel. The hotel has a truly Balinese style and if ever this hotel gets up dated I hope they never lose its just fantastic character. The hotel has a free shuttle to its more upmarket sister hotel the Grand Hyatt in Nusa Dua. You can spend the day at this hotel and use their facilities and charge expenses to your hotel account. Well worth a look at it you have time. We booked an ocean facing room the sea was probably 60 metres away but the view through the magnificent gardens was fantastic. You really don’t need the ocean view as you don’t spend much time in your room. A standard garden view room would I am sure be great if you wanted to save a few $. We did get too see inside a Regency Room which was also nice the only difference being a slightly bigger bathroom. One thing you must have is get the breakfast included its excellent, just what you would expect from the Hyatt, breakfast was always busy which was a really good sign. The hotel location is excellent as here are plenty of inexpensive restaurants and cafes all within a short walk down the street. There is a paved walkway that must be a few k’s long at the beach front and it goes past a number of other hotels who also have there cafes on the sea front and are a lot cheaper to eat at than the Hyatt. The best café to eat at in the Hyatt was the Pizzaria Café which was on the sea front they made the best pasta dishes and pizza’s and also the best value. The bars are a little expensive but then still only about $5AUD for a beer and about $12AUD for a cocktail, compared to home that’s still excellent value. I must compliment the staff, they would go out of their way to assist they are just the nicest people. The Hyatt Sanur does the Balinese experience proud.
I would highly recommend this hotel, we will stay there again. Its away from the chaos of Kuta, is close to the Sanur shopping strip and security was excellent a top hotel.

Hotel surroundings were nice and location in Sanur area was just great for us. Hotel rooms itself were not that great and noise from other rooms could be heard quite easily. Although did not spend much time on the room itself;) Breakfast was nice but not that great for my taste. Recommend the snorkeling from hotel if you have not done that before. We did see nice aquarium with corals and plenty of fishes etc., which is not available in Scandinavia :) Still might choose same hotel again.

The Bali Hyatt is set in a wonderful setting, the pools and gardens are gorgeous. The hotel rooms are a little tired and could do with an update. My kids loved the activities at the kids club and being on the beach was great. A great place to stay for families. The spa is wonderful but very expensive.

Please note, that this is an old hotel, which required significant refurbishment. Although, rooms are clean, but can smell (possibly air conditioning). Otherwise, the facilities are great and the beach is very good. The sea has many sea weeds, which could be sometime disturbing for swimming. Stuff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome.

light switches could be cleaned. Problem of water running out through board of bath (if you take a shower) so that the floor is getting wet until the toilet pot.

Friendly staff, very polite, always willing to help. Excellent spa, beautiful garden, very good level of security. Only rooms should be refurbished, and it would be perfect. Hotel Travel were efficient, quick and reliable.

My friend and I stayed in several hotels in Bali and have to admit that Bali Hyatt Sanur is our favorite. The statt is very nice and helpful, the service is excellent and above all the beach view is out of this world, i think it is the best deal in town and would not hesitate to come back again, in fact i am planning my next trip right now and plan to go back. This is my honest opinion and hope you will have the same experience.

We loved the tranquility. The hotel was almost fully booked and still it was not busy in a sense that there were too many people around. The staff is really friendly and competent.
Every room has a private terrace or balcony, really nice.

Hotel grounds are great and staff very friendly. Food, drinks and tours available inside the hotel are very overpriced and I recommend the short walk to establishments outside. Breakfast is excellent.

Fantastic hotel. Loved every minute. Staff are amazing and make you feel really welcome from the first minute. Great breakfast every day and no problem getting a sun lounger. Restaurants are OK, but much better value down the street. All in all a wonderful week spent here. Highly recommend. Not certain an ocean view is worth bothering with that much. Didn't get a great view from where we were, but nice room all the same.
