This is a splendid hotel in desperate need of refurbishment. Wonderful staff, good quiet but convienient location, good facilities and a beautiful "balinese village" theme. Just needs a bit of money spent on it to bring it all up to date. However at Hoteltravel.net prices it represents great value for money and I would certainly go back (taking some 100Watt lightbulbs with me) Redza Shah, Singapore
Bali Agung was excellent value for money. The staff was friendly and courteous and made us feel very welcome. Location was good, but you had to walk down a couple of dark alleys (at night) to get to the main road. Hotel architecture was fantastic, it was very very peaceful and well maintained. The duplex exteriors and the surrounding gardens were beautiful too but insde, the rooms were pretty simple and did not quite match the exterior. All in all, a fantastic value for money by booking through HotelTravel.com, it was a fraction of the listed price through the hotel's website and we got a free breakfast too. The villa bathroom absolutely need a renovation. When we arrived the swimmingpool area was under repair and we had very noisy work all the day starting early in the morning. James Chua, Malaysia
The hotel's location is a bit isolated from the main road, and it doesn't help that street lighting is almost non-existent in the surrounding areas - at least 15 minutes' walk in near darkness. Also, I was not impressed when the receptionist refused my request for a 3pm check-out when it was exceedingly obvious that the hotel was under-occupied ! A HotelTravel.com Member, Sierra Leone
Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Nice and charming landscaping. Pool was pleasant. Just a short cab ride away from everything in Seminyak, but a fairly long walk out to the main road. Beds were clean, comfortable. Room and decor were quaint, but bathrooms were very old and very basic and not all that clean. It wasnt a 5 star hotel, but was definitely good value for money. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed the pool and massage facility by the pool. Restaurant pleasantly situated by the pool and a nice place to sit and relax. The breakfast was very good. Room was rather cramped for three. No air con. Bathrooms need an upgrade. A HotelTravel.com Member, United Kingdom
