I was pleasantly surprised with Adi Dharma hotel, the rooms were lovely and clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic couldn’t fault it at all. The only thing I could fault is that the pool was very cold and unfortunately only used it once for our stay.

My mum and I went to Bali for a Mothers Daughter trip. We chose to stay at Adi Dharma Hotel because of its location. We had a lovely 6 nights there! Beautiful people, great location, relaxing pool. Only negative were the bathroom towels, sheets and pilliows could use an up-grade. Can't wait to go back :)

The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were very friendly. However, when we first arrived in the hotel they did not have our booked room available, so we had to spend our first night in the Adhi Dharma cottages (which aren't as nice). Then, halfway through the trip we were asked if we were interested in moving to a hotel in another part of the island. We declined but it seems like the hotel has a problem with its booking system. Although we enjoyed our stay, I would be reluctant to book again because of the hotel's problems with overbooking (and using the cottages as an overflow.)

I stayed at the Adi Dharma in a deluxe room. It lovely and clean with soft beds, good aircon. The staff are friendly and relaxed. This is the 3rd time I have stayed here and it just keeps getting better. Breakfast is a little repetitive but you can eat something different nearby. The hotel is set back off the main road so it is quiet but is only 2 mins to JL Legian or 5 mins to Poppies II.

I checked in with my family on 28th of Dec 2010.Though it's only 1 night stay in the hotel, we observed that the staff are all very friendly and very willing to come forward to assist you whenever is needed. We tried their food before we left for the airport the next day. The food we ordered were just average. Service is ok. We may come back to this hotel as the rates are reasonable and the staff are very friendly compared to the previous hotel we were in.

We were dissapointed that we did not get to stay in the hotel but rather the cottages where I have stayed before, which tend to be very noisy. We were given some vague reason. I have a feeling it was because we had booked for one night and they gave the room to someone who wanted to extend due to the Ramadan Holiday...The room they gave us was nice but the balcony door didnt shut and mozzies buzzed around us all night. I would only stay at the hotel ...not the cottages again. You can you both the hotel and cottages facilities...there is a small lane that separates them The staff at the Hotel however seemed to be very disinterested, the staff at the cottages were much friendlier - you win some you lose some

This hotel is well located to get to Kuta and Lagian shopping and dining areas, there are a number of good cheap resteraunts in the lane closs by. The hotel staff were great and for the rating and price this is a good hotel,it's not 5 star but it is a good 3. Breakfast buffet average but you can oder eggs however you like each day and bacon can be ordered also. There are better happy hour deals around if you like a few cold beers around pool at the end of the day.... We were happy there and love Bali. Bali is what it is!!!

Basic Ameneties, bit out of the way. We should have stayed at the cottages. Staff were friendly. Beer was cold. Big screen for the World Cup each night.Pool was cold. Because of the buildings it din't get much sun.

The toilet is very old & door going to spoilt. We buy drink from outside they are not allow to drink at the place. If want then have to pay them. Not helpfull. The hotel rate is expensive.

My stay at the Adi Dharma was great. The pool bar could stay open longer than 7pm other than that I recomend the hotel as an excellent place to stay. Friendly staff all the time, always polite and helpful. The only drawback is that there is no back access for a short cut to the beach.

Family oriented hotel offering good value. Breakfast is so OK, but gets boring. Oriental section of breakfast is very bland and not appealing. European food items lack seasoning,herbs, and spices, e.g. parsely potatoes undercooked, short on butter and parsely. Roasted chicken had no seasoning. Food prices good, but food needs herbs and seasoning, very bland, almost tasteless.

the hotel was nice, bathroom was bad but hopefully will be getting renovated, in a great location, close to everything, a lot of restaurants to choose from, some of the reception staff were very rude, but the housekeeping and gardeners were very nice and always friendly. all up a good stay, shame about the old dirty bathrooms with yellow stained tubs and chip[ped tiles though, and breakfast was very very boring and very limited.

The rooms isok, pretty spacious, but the bathrooms are dirty, the bath was not even white anymore and the toilets smell. We tried several rooms and everywhere was the same problem. For the services they provide they have high prices (SPA, Travel agency etc) and also bargaining is permitted. The staff tried to propose us different offers for "good money" and asking us to keep secrecy from the management. The swimming pool was ok and the restaurant was clean, proving good food. In the mean time, the breakfast included in the room price was poor at best with no meat, cheese, salami or other type of continental food except for eggs which were not enough cooked.

This is an old hotel which is located little bit far from the kuta square and main kuta city. The rooms are in average standard. No variety in the breakfast. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel price should be reduced.

Adhi Dharma is close to the Legian shopping street and has successfully created an ambience of a small city Balinese garden. Ours was a late check-in and it seemed that the reservation desk did not have the proper record of our reservation. Although we were kept waiting for about 30 minutes during the check-in, our room was eventually upgraded in ensuring we would have the optimum comfort for the entire duration of stay. Breakfast was good, rooms are clean but some of the rooms start needing some attention before a few ageing corners stick out like a sore thumb to the guests.In summary, Adhi Dharma is well-maintained and we especially like the view from the balcony.

I would have to say the most friendly staff ive come across, very efficeint. The rooms are clean not flash but you get what you paid for. Being a good drinker the pool bar could do with a big esky full of ice because beer wasnt cold enough.The food from the restaurant was good. Could do with more variety for breakfast. Definately recommend getting motorbike because it is a fair walk to most places plus a very good adventure.

Loved the hotel itself and the surroundings. So close to everything and the staff are really accommodating and friendly. Only drawback was the food, don't eat at the restaraunt if possible. Food is very average and a lot of it is really oily! Just go to a restaraunt. Apart from that, I'd definately stay here again, the deluxe room is really beautiful and spacious. I was very happy here!!!

They gave us the 3rd floor in which a little run down. They should renovate on the room interior. Since it's at the heart of Kuta, you can access to many great places nearby without much problem. I like the swimming pool as it's really nice looking.

I booked the Adi Dharma Hotel. When we reached there, We were being transferred to Adi Dharma Cottages instead. The location of the cottage is much better than the Adi Dharma Hotel as it faces the busy street. The room is clean and the cottage is beautiful. Abit far from the beach and Kuta Square though the hotel provides shuttle bus there 5 times a day.

I'm puzzled why the staff send me to Adi Dhama Cottage after they made several phone calls, but the Cottage is not bad. Rooms are very clean, but TV is too bad, less than 10 channels (including some half-snow channels). Spa service is so so, not in the garden. AD Cottage's location better than AD Hotel, taxi to airport only 30,000RP. Breakfast chooseless.

Generally the hotel is good and accpetable, there is located within the walking distance from town center and beach area, but there route to the town area is not so busy, may not convenience to walk during the night time. but can be easily reachable by taxi.

This is a nice hotel that lies between the busy Beach Road and Legian - a little hard to find if you don't have a taxi driver that knows this area - it is off Jalan Poppies II and this is one of the craziest streets I have ever seen to drive on - narrow and busy with bikes, taxis, pedestrians. Overall this is a great place to stay as it is good value for money and it provides a location that gives access to either Kuta Beach or Legian Street. The staff are helpful although the F & B staff still need some training when it comes to customer service but overall this place rates an 8+ in my books. Stayed there Dec. 25 thru Jan 4/'08

I stayed 2 nights at Adi Dharma-Hotel not cottage. The room was very spacy and the hotel facilities-swimming pool-was great. You can use swimming pool until 23:00. Proximity to the city center is pretty good. The thing that I was not familiar was the hotel party, which is held once in a week according to the hotel staff, 'cause it is the time guests are singing loudly late at night with a microphone. It could be joyful for some people but not for those want some sound sleep for the next day schedule. The hotel rate is quite reasonable and staffs are very friendly. I will stay this hotel if I have another chance to visit out there.

I had a pleasant stay in this hotel. Legian Street is in a walking distance to the hotel, lots of restaurants are available nearby and a mini mart is only 200m away from the hotel. However, it is a long walk to Kuta Beach (the hotel provides shuttle service). The room is big and cozy. The receptionist, waiters, porters and so on were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast... not many varieties... and I hate those houseflies flying around. In conclusion, USD 34 per night for this hotel.. in my opinion, it is worthwhile.

We booked a van to take us round Bali's tourist spots and the management on their own gave us a discount without us bargaining for it. The driver is a hotel staff and he speaks good English and was able to show us around and explain some of the related histories of the places we visited.The location is close to Legian Street along which there are plenty of shops and bars.You can also get reasonably priced Chinese/Japanese foods just outside the hotel. The hotel is neat and clean and quiet.For the price one paid it is worth it.

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint hotel in the heart of the shopping district. Dining, shopping and Kuta beach are all within walking distance. The gounds and pool are beautiful, and as seems to be Bali's trade mark, the staff is wonderful. The room itself was only average, a bit small, but comfortable.

Had low expectations for my first trip to bali, but the hotel was a pleasent suprise, while it might have lacked a little by western standards it made up for it in the attitude and helpfullness of the staff, and was certainly value for money spent.

Highly recommend this hotel. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Quiet location but perfectly located right in the centre of Kuta and Legian. Small enough to be personal, large enough to have privacy!! Clean rooms, clear pool, lovely garden. Great for families or couples/singles. Out of all the hotels I have stayed in Bali (which has been a few) I would rate this hotel best value for money.

I would see it as a boutique hotel, small but cozy. Very near to the beach and shopping area. Everything was great except for the breakfast which can be improved. Nevertheless, they change some of the dishes each day and provided fresh fruits. Definitely value for money if you're looking for a nice and decent place that is affordable!
