Sited on a beautiful location this is the place to get away from it all.
Negatives include the fact that as it is built into a hillside there is plenty of uphill/downhill walking along pathways that have a number of tripping hazards. There was no seperate bar. The (public) beach was accessed by a steep set of steps and a scramble over rocks; it was also dirty. The other, more accessable,better beach was closed-off due to a dispute with the adjacent hotel.
The menu was extensive but lacked daily Chef Specials. Fish dishes in particular were good. The food was well prepared and presented
All in all we had a great stay!
We opted for a small beach front cottage which was very basic but also very nice. However the beach was a good 20 metres away and 20 metres lower!
The spa was very nice and we used it daily. However my wife was disappointed that it did not offer nail, hair or pedicure treatments!
The swimming pool was exceptionally nice; being carved out of rock. Great poolside service.
Staff attentive and wishing to please.
There was no seperate bar. Access to internet in the reception area was not wifi and meant waiting in line to use the one computer available.
Main facilities 20 metres above sea level. Access to the only available beach was very difficult. Once down on the beach there were no facilities - loungers, bar, etc.. A trio of muscians every night playing indistinguishable music.
Hotel public areas excellent, beautiful well kept grounds.
