Impressed by the friendly and helpful manners of the hotel staff member. It was refreshing and made my stay comfortable. The room was calm with double window, though the hotel located in a very busy-noizy area in Calcutta. Most of the things one expects in this rank of the hotel. Quick to get any setvices.
The explanation on the internet service and on how the service is available should be explicitly given in the room. Easy to move any place in the city. Near to the sub-way station, near to the city market and shopping places.

The Oberoi is an oasis of peace and comfort in the middle of Kolkata and worth the price. Staff is very friendly, though sometimes not concrete enough.
