Karni Bhawan was a former residence of the Jagirdars (aristocrats) of Sodawas, Bhati Rajputs of the Lunar dynasty. This delightful red sandstone building of the 40's has been sensitively redone to meet the requirements of the discerning traveller. Lush gardens combine a homely spirit with hotel efficiency to make a stay at Karni Bhawan very good value indeed.

It is not in the center, we wanted stay far away of the crowded places because we were travelling in a car with driver, so we prefered quiet places. our room was excellent because the manager give us a better room since the hotel was not full. very good for the money we pay.

Very nice hotel with excellent value for money. Nice design of the rooms and very clean. Unfortunately the staff (reception and restaurant) was very unmotivated and unfriendly, which is unusual for India.
