Sonar Garh Fort Hotel is scenically situated on Trikuta Hill not far from the Jaisalmer Fort. The fort was converted into a hotel, yet has retained its beautiful medieval yellow sandstone and Rajput architecture. The first stone of the fort was placed in 1156, making it one of the oldest buildings in the area.
