Maharani Palace is a functional hotel located in the center of Jaipur. It is on a main road which means a lot of noise even in the wee hours. Don't forget your Ipod or Earplugs to soften your nerves. It is not a charming hotel, but the reception staff are efficient and professional. I think it is more suited for overnight business trips. There is a spartan beauty parlor where you can get a passable massage. The breakfast buffet is not something to look forward to. Overall the staff have been friendly and serviable.
