Lovely ambiance and setting. The bed was extremely comfortable having experience very hard beds in India. The evening meals were lovely.
The piano player was very good, but unfortunately the piano itself was very out of tune. Please call in a piano tuner.

A pleasant enough hotel, with a lot of "Colonial India" charm and the impeccable service that is typical of all Taj properties. The rooms were a bit of a disappointment, with furnishings and fixings that I would have expected only in a more inferior hotel property. However, the outstanding service I just alluded to balanced out the discomfort in the room - if I had to return to Coonoor, I probably wouldn't consider any other hotel.
