Having arrived in Chennai by train, it was good to have a hotel within genuine walking distance. The reception staff were efficient and friendly and the fact that the hotel operates a 24 hour check in meant that my arriving at 0800 was not a problem. The hotel backs on to a railway line, but this did not prove to be too noisy although the Indian penchant for using car horns at every opportunity means that nowhere is completely quiet. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast which was excellent, however it was Indian style and idli with sambar (curry sauce) may not suit everybody. All in all, I was happy with my stay and would use the hotel again.
