Lallgarh Palace Hotel

Lallgarh Palace Hotel
Lallgarh Complex, Ganganagar Road, Bikaner, Rajasthan, India

Location :Central
Rooms : 40
Rated #5 for all Bikaner hotels
Lallgarh Palace Hotel defies the bleak and rugged reality of the harsh Thar Desert around Bikaner. This palace began its life in 1896 and was named after Maharaja Ganga Singh's father, Maharaja Lall Singh. Lallgarh Palace is one of the most completely integrated examples of Indo-Saracenic architecture and the most perfectly realised of Sir S. Jacob (the architect's) creations. Here guests can enjoy royal comforts in this forbidding landscape that secrets many treasures, the hotel being one of them.

Good and friendly service, very well situated. The rooms feel a bit claustrophobic as the windows are closed and open to public areas of passage. Bathrooms are clean yet pool area needs a good scrub.
