Rated #9 for all Budapest hotels
All was excellent in the one night stay in the intercontinental hotel. Only the pool area was a bit small. This hotel would be certainly my choice for my next Budapest visit....

it was pretty good stay. i payed 96Euros per night for a city-view room, which is a bit expensive, but ok. the original price on the hotel website is too much... hotel and staff are excellent though.

The hotel is probably the closest to the Danube and is ideally siutated in the City Centre with most of the main tourists attractions within walking distance [or in view]. The number 2 tram stops right outside of the hotel and there are various underground stations nearby. A travel card is available from a shop inside the hotel giving unlimited travel on public transport for 2 [FT5200] or 3 days. The rooms were quite spacious and were clean and tidy. Our room overlooked the Danube and the views were fabulous. Breakfast was included and there was everything from a full English to Miso soup. All the staff were polite and friendly throughout are stay although the service in the bar in the evening tended to be slow. We would stay here again and the price we got from Hotel Travel was very good.
