Good points: Although the rooms are small, they are well-maintained and come with a lot of facilities, including coffee/tea-making facilities, hairdryer and minibar. In some 3-star hotels, you cannot find a hairdryer nor complimentary coffee/tea-making facilities. The bathroom has a proper bathtub. This is rare in 3-star hotels in Hong Kong whereby most just supply you with a shower head. The gymnasium on the 13th floor is well-equipped with state-of-the-art equipment which are functioning properly. I have been to gymnasiums in hotels where practically half the equipment were not operating pro...

the hotel staffs are very friendly, the room was just enough for 2 people. And guess what, they are using LCD tv in the room as compared to the previous hotel that I have stayed. The location is walking distance from the MTR which is another plus for me :)

The hotel is small but the room although smaller it was cute, clean and neat. Only a few minutes away by walk to MTR station, shopping malls, restaurants, bargain area etc. Since the hotel is located on the hill top, going up is very exhausting but since we found out the short cut or B1 at the side of the hotel it becomes easier for us to go up and down. Hotel reception or customer service were not good in english, sometime I call directly to the customer service of the hotel they did not entertain me because they cannot understand or cannot speak english.

The room was clean and neat. But there were no amenities (toothbrush etc). But it was pretty alright for me, as I had brought my own along. Although the hotel was situated at the top of the slope, once knowing the alternative route, it isn't that bad.

Great hotel in excellent location inKowloon. Close to some fantastic resturants, bars and shops. Close to metro only a few stops to ladies and temple st markets. Beware that Hillview means hotel is at top of a steep incline, great for the calf muscles. Good Australian breakfast. I would gladly stay here again.

I got exactly what I expected in this hotel. Excellent accommodation at a small price. The hotel staff delivered service with expertise and a big smile. My room was a non-smoking room on the fourth floor and my wife and I enjoyed to comforts that the room had to offer. Hotel Travel need to be congratulated too for supplying a great, efficient service. I would definitely stay at the Stanford again.

This hotel is smaller, but in an excellent location away from noise. Getting to the entrance requires going up a number of steps, but once you know teh B1 shortcut and Knutsford Terrace road, it is quite easy. We have stayed here before and will do again because of teh location, no noise, and friendly staff and housekeeping.

This hotel is ideally located in Tsim Sha Tsui to transport, shops and restaurants. It is on a no exit street so it is not noisy. It is small and has a friendly and homely feel, I have stayed there 6 or 7 times now and will continue to do so.

The hotel is surrounded by many shops, shopping malls and restraunts. A subway station is just 10 minutes away by walk. The hotel is located in the middle of a steep hill, but since I found a shortcut, it didn't bother me much.

The room we were given was extremely noisey. It seemed to be directly under the main air conditioning plant for the hotel and this developed some kind of intermittent 'roar' on our second night which the hotel staff could not repairdespite working in the roof space until 2 am. We had a sleepless night before setting off on our 21 day tour of China - but were offered no compensation, chnage of room or even an explanation of this problem.

I booked a Standard Double and when I checked in they told me that I booked a Standard Twin. I was kinda bummed and I told my boyfriend under my breath that I thought a booked a double and he softly replied "Do you want to ask them if they can put the beds together?". I told him it's ok since we're only staying a couple of days. To our surprise, when we got to the room they put the two beds together! It made our stay so much better to know that they went that extra mile for us. They also have the fluffiest pillows!

Hotel is very well located for restaurants and quite close to the major public transport. Staff generally friendly and helpful and the half price drinks and certain foods were a bonus. Rooms were clean and reasonably sized, although the second room (see below) we had was noisy. The first room allocated was fine with little noise (12th floor). Also we were able to have a late checkout of 6pm for both rooms which was a great help to us. Due to a terrible mistake by wife (only kidding!), we missed our outgoing flight and were able to book back into the hotel at late notice for another night at a discounted rate a little above what we had originally paid, but still a good rate. Overall this hotel is good value for money.

Most of the hotel staff, especially the staff at the check-in counter and the chambermaids, are friendly, approachable and efficient in their services. Room for improvment: The staff at the conceirge were constantly pulling a long face and could not be bothered to greet guests. When I requested for left baggage service, he did not seem very willing to serve me. The items in the minibar were also a tad too expensive despite the 50% discount offered to guests. Other than these two points, there are no problems with my stay at the hotel and I would definitely make use of the hotel again in the future.

Best location is you want a peaceful rest of the day. A few walks away from Nathan Road, TST MTR, and bargain shopping streets of Temple/Granville. Food outlets are very near and very accessible to Star Ferry Fier, Avenue of Stars and Shopping centers. Room is very clean and has soft bed. Enjoyed the bath tub and very good water pressure in faucet. Wanted to come back in this hotel if given the chance and will definitely recommend to my friends.

We enjoy the hotel verry much in respect of cleanliness, staff being helpfull and friendly, being close to shops. The staff made phone calls on our behalf to try to find our lost luggages. We could say this hotel was the best we stayed in during our over two months holiday in Europe and Asia.

We were delighted with this hotel and thought it well worth the money. Near enough to everthing but without the noise. Rooms were a little old fashioned but were immaculate and very helpful staff. Hotel is relatively far away from MTR station (10-15 min) and walk up hill. Rooms are small and equipment in rooms is old. In HK through hoteltravel you can get better deal (try Wharney Hotel, Hong Kong - and its cheaper and better, newer rooms + swimming pool) But still, hotel offers good rates, and area near by is lively at night, plenty of places to eat and drink. If you book through hoteltravel.com - take into account - it is better than to book at hotel or by phone. Sometimes difference is very big.

This is my first time to stay in the hotel which is recommended by friends. The standard room is clean and size is reasonable at Hong Kong standard. I find it a bit expensive probably because of the month I stayed (October). It is very quiet but you have to get prepared to walk up and down the hill when you go out. Staffs are very friendly and efficient. Television has to be updated. I will stay again if price is right.

A small hill climb, hence part of its name. Very quiet because of its excellent location. By going through the parking garage entrance and strolling down the adjacent street, you can have easy access through the Miramar Shopping Centre thereby avoiding the hill climb. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the only negative thing I can say about the staff is that one of them worked very slowly. When it comes to transport and shops then I would say the hotel lies in the right place. As soon as you walk down the hill you can start shopping. The only negative thing about this hotel must be the hill. It's really bad to carry all the shopping bags up the hill and back to the hotel. An alternative is to take taxi home, since taxi in Hong Kong it's not that expensive.

This is a smaller hotel hidden in away from the larger main roads, but only 5 minutes walk to to the MTR or 10 minutes to the over land trains. Plenty of restaurant, bars, shop close by. The only down side is the hotel is situated on a short but steep slop, but if you do not mind the exercise this is a great hotel, with execellent value for money.
