1) The staff seemed too busy to attend a guest fairly as they are lack of smile;
2) Not willing to provide local news as they said my package is not included, whereas a news only costs them few HKD;
3) Request for extend of check-out time is not viable unless I paid a unreasonable price of HKD605;
4) Front desk staff seemed unwilling to do much, maybe they are too good in business.

We have stayed at this hotel eight times now. We love the location in Mong Kok. The mall underneath the hotel has a train station and you can take a direct train to Shenzhen in China. The pool, whirlpool, steam rooms and gym are excellent. The rooms are always clean.
The front desk staff are unimpressive. Upon check out, we have been charged for phone calls that we didn't make, etc. (more tan once) and it is always an ordeal to correct errors. Generally, the front desk staff could use with some more training.
However, the facilities and location keep us coming back!

Royal Plaza Hotel is a very good hotel with a huge shopping mall beside it. However it is a a tad too far away from the main MTR, Mongkok. However there is a bridge connecting the mall to the Mongkok MTR. Another than that, the room size is very big with a table and a LCD TV with 46 channels. The bed is almost queen size and one bed can sleep 2 people. The bathtub is spick and span and is very luxurious.

Certainly a reasonable hotel and room was of good size and clean. I found that there was little information in the rooms to tell guests as to what to see and do in HK. The only bar I could see was very small and very expensive.
