Rated #32 for all Kowloon hotels

Extremely good location, easy to get to MTR, Star Ferry, Museum etc. Rooms larger than expected, much to my delight! With larger than average rooms for a Hong Kong Hotel, that alone makes it excellent value! There was also the free tea/coffee making facilities, the hairdryer in bathroom, and the free toiletries in the bathroom. All night snacks via room service available, as well as normal room service meals. All staff very friendly and helpful, from reception to room cleaners. Great views, clean rooms, no undue noise. Minor quibble being that if you got back early from a day out, and wanted ...

The hotel was very convenient - close to shops, not too far to walk to the Star Ferry and within easy reach of Kowloon Park. Clean and friendly and everything worked. Compared to other countries room a bit small but didn't spend too much time in it as there is so much to see and do in Hong Kong - 3 days wasn't enough!

Room is unexpectedly small which is not same as one advertised online. Hotel did not provide complimentary mineral water as compared other same grade hotels in HK. On the bright side, location is excellent! Will try other hotel for my next HK trip sometime in September.

I stayed on 18th floor in hotel wing. Although a room is quite small. its decoration is very nice -- colorful and modern. Next time I go to Hongkong, I'll reserve it again.

If you are traveling via Ferry to Macau, this is the perfect Hotel for you, the lobby is situated in front of the arrival hall of China Ferry Terminal, Departure hall is on the next level only, very convenient. Rooms are small, which is common in HK but its furnished better than others with the same price. Facilities are clean and very quiet, but its really far from mtr. maybe 10 minutes walk. Its exactly beside Prince Hotel of Marco Polo if you are looking for land mark.

The Royal Pacific Hotel was situated in a great location, close to the train line, buses and the ferry. This made traveling around very easy. The amenities were clean and the room was of a good size. It provided excellent value for money.

It is a nice hotel with great location. However, the check in and check out process is time consuming even though the staff at front desk is courteous. The room I stayed in on the Premium Floor was small but clean and comfortable for one person. The main restaurant is expensive and it is difficult to get a proper western breakfast except from the expensive room service menu. Your best option is Mcdonalds in the lower shopping floors. Having said that I will return to this hotel.

Checking in was fast.Check out at 4 pm was a pleasant surprise and allowed us to rest before taking the free shuttle service for the airport express train. The location was excellent being adjacent to Kowloon Park and the ferry terminal. I will use your service for my travel needs and book with this same hotel in my next HK trip.

This is our first trip to Hong Kong, and we are very satisfied with the room and services provided by the Royal Pacific Hotel. This hotel is definitely one of the best to stay in Tsim Sha Tsui as it is situated right in the middle of the town, where most events are held there in the Canton Road. During our stay, the Christmas Countdown was just right in front of our hotel and therefore, we do not need to travel far to enjoy the celebration. MTR station is just 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel, while the famous Harbour City Plaza is just 5 minutes away from Royal Pacific Hotel. Not to forget also, the Macau Ferry Terminal is just right below the building, and is very convenient for those who travels from Macau to Hong Kong. Room services are excellent, and the staff at the reception are very friendly. We do not need to wait very long to check in and check out, eventhough the queue was long as our travel period was in the peak period, i.e. christmas eve. The room is very clean, but is quite small. Anyway, i understand that all hotel rooms in hong kong is quite small, thus this will not be a minus point. Overall, i enjoyed my stay in this hotel and will definitely return to this hotel if i travel to hong kong again.

We stayed at the Superior Room, it was just right for a family of 4, they even provided a baby cot but I suggest that they switch the "wood cot" to a more comfortable crib made of soft materials for safety reasons especially if a toddler will use it. The room was always kept clean by the chambermaid, towels and other toiletries are always replenished. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The location was excellent, the hotel was connected to the HongKong China City mall and to the ferry terminal, you just need to take the escalator. It was very convenient for us whenever we need to buy something cause there's a 7-11, KFC, Mc Donald's, Starbucks and Watson's downstairs. Tthe ESPRIT outlet was also just outside the hotel as well as the Gateway Tower Mall. If you're in for a shopping spree, a lot of high end shops are found a walking distance away... I would definitely stay here again if ever we'll visit HongKong again.

This hotel is situated in a very good location, close to Nathan Rd for shopping, the MTR and is connected to a shopping mall containing the ferry terminal to travel to Macau. Standard rooms are a little small, bathrooms needs to be refurbished but the rooms are clean. The only issue we have to make is that we made several complaints to the front desk as well as house-keeping that the drainage in our bathroom was not working, after they made 2 failed attempts to fix it, it was not until I made another complaint on the 3rd day of our stay was the problem completely rectified. Other than that, staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Overall, it was a good stay.

I have booked standard room in the hotel wing but when we arrived our room was upgraded to a newly renovated room which was located in the tower wing and they dont take extra charges. Good location and it is value for money. It is 5 minutes walk from the largest shopping mall (harbour city). The bad thing about the hotel is jz that the room is quite small and no complementary fruits given as in the previous hotel I stay (YMCA Salisbury Hotel). Hotel lobby is found on the 1st floor. But overall, it was ok. I will definitely live in Royal Pacific when I go to Hongkong next time.

The hotel was full when we arrived. The line to check in (& even check out) was extremely long & waiting time lasted for several minutes. The room was ok but was not as seen in the photos online. The bedroom was better than the bathroom. Bathroom was a bit old. It was noisy in the lobby since there were a lot of people at the time of our visit. The hotel was very near the high end malls & shops (Harbor City, Coach, LV, Gucci etc). It was minutes away from the MTR station but when you're with a toddler who has to be carried, walk to the MTR seems longer than usual, good thing you have the option to walk inside the mall so you get entertained. If you're travelling to Macau, mall is very ideal since the ferry terminal is just below the hotel.

The room is very small, but if you only stay in the room at night and spend most of the time shopping and walk around, it would be fine. A good hotel close to several shopping markets, nearby restaurants not much, but you can eat in the shopping markets. If you take baby, you can play in the Kowloon part nearby.

The location and the room standard of this hotel were well worth its price. It is a very good alternative to a much more pricey marco polo, which is just a few steps away. The hotel staff that attended to us were all very courteous and efficient. I just hope that it would eventually offer free internet access in the guest rooms. the room was spacious enough. the bathroom was clean and was not cramped. i liked the pillows. the staff were very courteous when i expected them to be not so courteous upon seeing the number of guests checking in. no matter who answered my call to the frontdesk, they all immediately knew the answer to my query and responded to my requests promptly. the hotel was adjacent to the macau ferry terminal which was very convenient for us who came in from macau. near shopping area and accessible to the mtr and the star ferry terminal. other than the reasons stated in item 4 (hotel location), the availability of airport shuttle buses every 30 minutes right at the hotel's doorstep was very convenient.

the location of this hotel is excellent. however, the staff assigned us to a room which was not what we requested for - we wanted a room with 2 beds but ended up with only a double bed which was eventually changed when we complained. the room was quite small but with modern and pleasant interiors. but same cannot be said about the toilet and bath which had old floor tiles and and bathroom fixtures. but all in all, we were happy with our stay which was very accessible to all the shopping areas one could wish for in our very short stay. would recommend this hotel to relatives and friends going to hongkong.

We took the ferry from Macau and just had to take the escalator up to get to the hotel, how convenient! We were also upgraded to a Deluxe room. The room was very spacious and clean, complete amenities, with an extra pillow and comforter. The bathroom had a generous floor area, too, with a separate bathtub and shower. The staff was courteous and efficient and could communicate well in english, which was very helpful when we were asking for directions. They also gave us until 2PM to check out. We left our luggage at the Hotel Lobby and did some more last-minute shopping, then came back to the hotel to get our luggage and boarded the ferry to Macau. Very convenient hotel to stay at, especially if you're taking the ferry. The Gateway Mall is just outside and the hotel is only a few meters from the MTR Station. We'll definitely stay at this hotel again!

Very happy with this hotel; excellent location; very roomy; we had a king size bed.We were in the tower wing, we were really pleased. We went on a cruise and came back to the same hotel for another night, we had booked a superior room for that night in the hotel wing, and got upgraded to a de luxe room with a view in the tower wing again. I stayed here twice in the past month and was very happy with the service each time. The rooms were lovely, beds comfortable, and there was plenty of room. The location suited me particularly well as I was going to / coming from China on the ferry - just downstairs in the hotel. The Airport Express bus then picked me up at the door for a stress free ride to the airport - great. All in all, a very pleasant stay - I would certainly be happy to stay here again!

Being a frequent visitor at Royal Pacific (now over 10 years) it is clear that the rooms really do need an update. Nothing has changed over the past 10 years. Walls & Ceilings really do need painting and PLEASE can we have beds that are not solid rock. Bedding and Towels always clean and Bathrooms spotless. The real benefit of Royal Pacific is that it is close to EVERYTHING. Shopping within 30 seconds : Taxis outside hotel : Buses from outside of hotel : Kowloon Park 45 seconds : MTR (underground) 2 mins walk: China & Macao Ferries directly under hotel. Views from the 'Tower' rooms over Hong Kong Harbour fantastic : Rooms in 'Hotel' side can be noisy. Staff always friendly and concierge fantastic. Would I revisit - YES! - Why? .... It's convenient for everything that I want in a business stay. For tourists wanting a feel of Hong Kong then go for the 'Hotel' rooms; small and not too expensive. For longer stays use the 'Towers' because of the much larger space even though is expensive. Staff always helpful and eager to serve But - please remember the HARD beds! Plenty of space in the 'Tower' rooms. Bedding & Towels clean. Excellent views over harbour. Good selection of TV channels. Lots of storage space. BUT..... rooms showing signs of age and walls need repainting. Beds VERY hard. Rooms are also VERY dark. Always a high standard and very wide range of choices from full restuarant to quick snack bar. Perfect location for everything: Shopping - Taxis - Buses - Ferries - MTR (underground). Everything you want is available within 30 seconds.

The location of the hotel which shops, restaurants, cafes and transportation near by is definitely the reason to choose it. Other from that rooms are already quite old and not cleaned extremly well. We first got a room that was unbearably noisy because it was near the elevators but could change to a more quiet room later. Staff was very polite and helpful though. Rooms are old, furniture is already a bit shabby and the whole room is not cleaned extremly well. There where peanuts on the floor when we came and still there when we left. Efficient and friendly but certainy not outstanding. Great location. Within walking minutes from coffee shops, restaurants, the ferry terminal and shopping centers. Very convenient! Starbucks, Pacific Coffee and other shops are located in the same building. We first got a room near the elevators which was extremly noisy. We could hardly sleep at night an had to change to another room. I do not understand why such a noisy room was given to us at all since the hotel was not fully booked when we came. The front desk manager was obviously aware about this problem. If you need a convenient location with easy access to transportation as well as shops and restaurants this hotel is certainly a good choice. Great location. Within walking minutes from coffee shops, restaurants, the ferry terminal and shopping centers. Old peanuts on the carpet in our room stayed there from the day we arrived until we left. Dust and dirt in the drawers of the wardrobe. Strange hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor.

The hotel is clean and location is great. It is just in the busy hustling area of Tsim Sha Tsui and everything is available by just crossing the road. The room is abit small but it is sufficient for us who just need to sleep at night as we were out shopping whole day. The ferry terminal to Macau is linked to the hotel, which is the best thing that I found out.

This is one of the best "value for money" hotel I've ever stayed in. Although the room is quite small its sleek modern (clean) interior still makes it a winner in my list. Also worth mentioning are the excellent staff service and the hotel's location. I will surely make this my Hongkong hotel choice on my future trips. Hotel Travel is the best online booking agent!

I requested to have non-smoking rooms for two of my bookings, but one room had strong cigarettes smoke when I arrived. I complaint to the hotel staff and they try to clear the air in the room but the smell still there. I then found out that the same room I'm in, the air conditioner is not working... finally, they moved me to another room. Last to say, the room is small but the location is not bad.

So no need to catch any transport. Canton Rd. close by. Lots of restaurants and there is a 7 Eleven. One morning when out for some beef and fish balls noodles . Just like the locals. Loved it.

I was here for the Hong Kong Marathon 2008. In my excitement, I had accidentally switched off my alarm clock. Waking only 20min before flag off time. Fortunately, the hotel is excellently located. After a quick change and a 5 min run through Kowloon Park to Nathan Rd, I was ready at the Marathon start point. Had I been at any other hotel, I wouldn't have made it.

Royal Pacific Hotel is just above China Ferry Terminal. It is really very convinient for ppl who plan to go Macau or some other China cities. The room is quite compact, but at least clean. about 10 mins walking distance to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. Is a prime location.

this is the first time that i stayed in your hotel and i really enjoyed it. all the staff were very nice and very accommodating to my needs. the hotel was very clean. i booked 6 rooms and they gave 5 rooms an upgrade. too bad for me, i was the only one they did not give an upgrade considering i was the one who booked the rooms... the location of the hotel is perfect because the ferry boat going to macau is just below the hotel. i will definitely stay at your hotel the next time i visit hk. thanks so much!

I have been in the Royal Pacific many times. I like the hotel since the value for money as compared to other hotels on the Canton Road is the best. The rooms at the Tower Wing are big and I can recommend. The Hotel Wing rooms are too small especially for two persons and for a longer stay.

The Hotel location in HKG is excellent, very convienent for Food, Shopping & with nice seaview! Staff attentiveness is excellent too! Warm & thoughtful service was rendered during our stay! The only cons about the hotel is the hotel room furnishing is out dated & the carpet & aircon of the room were very dusty especially the carpet was with lots of stains....suffered quite a bad nose allergy due to the dust in the room...

I think the hotel on a whole was wonderful! Though it is probably about 10 minutes walk from the MTR station, but it's definitely value for money! The rooms were small but you expect that standard of room anywhere in Hongkong due to their space constraint. There wasn't any smell like described by some of the travellers. It was perfect! The staff were very friendly and helpful. THey even provided kettle for boiling some water. So I strongly recommend this hotel.

Very good location, service, and room facilites. They even allowed us 4pm check-out since we checked-in at 9pm. Free fresh fruits daily inside our room, toiletries replenished daily. Included in the free airport shuttle service route. Only suggestion is to replace the pillows with more fluffy ones, and perhaps improve water pressure on the toilet flush.

In general, the hotel is good however, the management should focus on the professionalism of their staff in the reception area and the efficiency of the cleaning staff. My sister and I arrived at 11:28AM of December 2 and the desk clerk told us that our room would be ready @ 1PM, so we went to have our lunch at a nearby restaurant. When we returned @ 1:15PM, the desk clerk said to wait for another 15 minutes. I approached again the desk clerk after 25 minutes and she told me that the room is still not ready. She said she will just call me once it is ready. Several times I asked if the room is ready and finally @ 2:35PM we were able to go to our room, that is after 3 long hours of waiting. Can you imagine what we had gone through? Also,on our last day, we were going to the Cafe at the Park for our breakfast when my sister fell from the last flight of stairs. The personnel in the restaurant just asked her if she's alright but, did not even help her to stand or suggest to see the doctor. When we returned to the room, we saw that there was a wound on my sister's left foot and scrape on her knees. Until now, there is swelling on her left foot.

I was surprised that I was upgraded to the tower wing coz my booking was for the hotel wing. As for the room in the tower wing, it was impressive, the room was big, king size bed, bathroom was big and clean with all the regular ammenities. If the size of room and the cleanliness would be the same in the hotel wing, I would definitely return to stay in this hotel. Accessibility to restaurants is very good and also to the shopping center is also very good. If travelling to Macau via ferry, this would also be the best hotel to stay. Thanks to Hotel Travel.

THe location is great as it is located in the heart of Canton Road. You don't have to go out of the building if you're coming from Macau as the terminal is directly connected to the Hotel. Shopping malls are just few steps away. Staff are helpful and friendly. Security is good as well. It's my second time to stay here and it's great. The room size though is a bit small.

Hoteltravel.com provided me with a good bargain for this hotel. The reasonable price given to me may seem to be applicable for budget hotels but not for this hotel that has a great location in Tsim Sha Tsui. The rooms may be small but its really adequate for 2 asian adult people. Defintely, Im going to stay again in this hotel, of course through hoteltravel.com! More power!

The hotel is far from MTR subway station. It looks like very near but you cannot cut through the KOWLOON PARK. It has a high wall which you cannot be able to jump off. You need to have a long walk. But, if your going to MACAU. Then, the First Macau Ferry is just less than a minute walk from the hotel. Very near and very accessible to ferry terminal.

Location is excellent for my needs. I only find the rooms a bit small compared to the other hotels around. I was a little fustrated during check in as the process is very slow. In addition, I was getting reminder calls to clear from my room for check out even thou i have paid for late check out. In this respect, the hotel should improve on the process and communication.

The room in the tower are enough big , with big nice room but actually the forniture in the room are a bit old . Stayed in the tower room, the room given was not the "actual" room as displayed in Hotel Travel site, the room i was given was a ordinary "standard" room in the tower wing. The photo of the tower room advertised here is misleading as that is the "executive room" of the tower wing section. The standard room is quite old and need refurbishing and furthermore there is a smell. Apart from the size of the room is quite spacious.

Room size excellent iwth king-sized bed but furnishings a little aging. Carpet could do with some cleaning and also could hear the water pipe running sound from other room. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay as hotel was connected to ferry terminal which makes arrival by ferry a breeze. Connected to ferry terminal. Such a breeze for ferry arrival guests. Also, big shopping mall with big brands next door. U could almost be the DEVIL WHO WEARS PRADA!

My trip to Hong Kong for Christmas 06 was the second time I stayed at the Royal Pacific. What I like most about it is it's location and the convenience of many shops and facilities. Also you can walk out to the promenade overlooking the waterfront, or walk through Kowloon Park to the MTR station without being on the steet. I rate it all around as generally good to excellent and is of good bargin value IMO.

In terms of transportation, its still a 15 mins to the nearest MTR Tsim Sha Tsui. From most maps, it seems one can cut across the Kowloon Park & walk towards the MTR but apparently, there's a high wall surrounding the park. However, the hotel location is just next to HarbourCity shopping centre, lots of places to shop & small cafes around the area too. At the basement, there's the China/Macua ferry terminal, very convenient if you're making your way to Macau or Zhuhai (China).

Since we stayed at the Royal Pacific during peak season, the hotel rate I got was extremely higher than the rates during regular season, that's why I found it expensive. But the regular price during regular season should be fairly reasonable. Me and my kids found the beds too hard and too small (we were given 2 single beds and there were 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids). I was concerned that my kids would fall off the bed while sleeping. But the room size was large, much to our delight and appreciation. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is also very good...near the shops and public transport.

Area was very convenient as we came from Macau Ferry Terminal, no need to be hassled looking for the right transportation, as we just walked right through the hotel from the terminal. Saved us a lot of time and energy. The proximity is also very near to major roads, shopping and dining areas. I appreciate the service of the hotel staff. I asked another travel agency that offers tour packages to deliver my Ocean Park tickets at the Front Desk and desk staff immediately gave my envelope upon check-in. Their system is very efficient. Thanks to hoteltravel.com, I got everything that I requested for, including assurance for my late check-in. Room was kept and maintained everyday (we stayed three nights), which is very important for me as I have with me my two young children, who were always playing on the floor. There were not much cable channel available though. Bathroom facility was good and bathtime at night for my kids were always a looked-forwarded to event by them! Room space is generally better than other hongkong hotels. Meals at the safari bar were quite expensive though. Good food, but not really worth the value. I would have fared better at buffet dinners offered elsewhere. Generally, service was excellent as it took me less than five minutes for both checking in and out of the hotel. As a vacationer trying to maximize our time, this is important for us. Travel agency picked us up right in front of the hotel lobby where the bus is parked for Disneyland.

I found the standards as good as any in the world. brilliant location close to parklands and the best shopping in Hong Kong, also close to all major transport. very good staff, helpful and courteous. good variety of food and beverages at reasonable rates. disappointed at the size of the room. perhaps the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. if the room size was more reasonable i woulsd regard this hotel as excellent value.

The lock system at this hotel is horrible. Twice did our hotel card key not work and when we went to speak to the front desk about the problem, one lady gave us a hard time issuing us a new key even after I provided proof of ID. Not even an apology for the inconvenience was given. Also, beware that the doors might not always automatically lock. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't like i previously said about their faulty lock system.

It has a big standard room capable of accomodating my family. I like this hotel since it is very accessible especially when we came from Macau. We did not have to walk nor take the taxi since upon alighting from the First Ferry from Macau, the hotel is already at your doorsteps. The shopping area is very near and we don't have to walk. The harbour center and ocean terminal are as close as we have not expected. So the next time that i will go to Hong Kong, i will stay again at the Royal Pacific Hotel-Kowloon.
