We had booked a double room, but on the first night they only had a single room, however, we were given a double room for the remainder of our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is in a good location in Tsim Sha Tsui, connected to shops, eating places and the MRT by underground walkways. It is also just a short walk to the harbour front over looking HK Island. The room I had was small, but quite normal for Hong Kong (I've had smaller at other hotels) and was very well maintained, modern and clean. Food outlets, services and facilities were OK (nothing special) and as one would expect from a Renaissance Hotel, but overall I found it a bit expensive for what you get.

Travelled with my husband and 4 grown up children ranging from 30 to 21. Hotel was excellent. Central to everything and close to Nathan Road with lots of shops etc. Near MTR station and 5 mins from ferry across Honk Kong Harbour. Rooms were well equiped, clean and well serviced. Staff were very helpful. Couldnt fault the hotel at all and would throughly recommend to all. I would be very fussy on holiday and like to have a bit of luxury this hotel was perfect for me.!!

Rooms were clean & adequate for basic needs. Facilities were minimal. Nice location along the harbour, but not a preferred option if traveling with aged family members - unless you're prepared to hop on a taxi whenever you go out. Many shops which seemed like just round the corner turned out to be at least a good 15 mins walk away - a fair distance for the aged, especially when their tummies are empty. Another problem for aged family members is that there is no temp adjustment for room air-cond.

We've had 4 extended stays at the Renaissance. The location is very good, and the hotel and its amenities are similar to many good "name-brand" hotels. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I would do so again. It is very convenient for all modes of transport and the view of Hong Kong Island, especially at night, is fabulous. The staff were friendly and courteous and I was given a late check out, at no extra cost.
My son and I travelled a day earlier than expected at the last minute, so I had to purchase the first night directly with the hotel. The price difference really showed how much discount Hotel Travel were able to provide.

It was an Pleasant stay at Renaissance Kowloon Hotel ( 10th Feb 08 to 17th Feb 08 ). I m glad that i have made a right choice. The room is clean & big. Everyday, i will receive a note in my room, telling me what is the weather & temperature for the next day. They have iron & iron board in the room. They also provide shampoo & conditional, soap foam , moisturize cream & hair dryer in the toilet. Room Cleaner will help to change toothbush everydays too :) ONLY one thing, WE are not use to it is......." The pillows are too soft " :( and our neck is pains when we wake up in the morning. Hee Hee..... But i guest is our habit to sleep in hard pillows. Another Good thing is, we have a night flight 8pm. Renaissance hotel allow us to keep the room & check out at 6pm without any additional charges. After 7 days of shopping, I m glad i can leave all my shopping goods in the room and continuous to shop on the day and back to hotel to bath before we going HOME. Thank you, Renaissance.
My friends is going to hong kong for honeymoon, i have highly recommended Renaissance hotel to them.See you when my next trip to Hong Kong again :)

We were attending a concert at the HKCC and therefore it was a good choice. The room was value for money, but there was just an annoying noise either above us, or next room, which wasn't the hotel's fault, I am sure but some inconsiderate guests. I booked two rooms, one double and one twin. And my, were they spacious! My room had a king-sized bed and I requested for a baby cot too. Even after they put the cot in, and with my maclaren stroller open all the time, there was still plenty of space! but the cot sucks. It was too low and the side could not even lower down or down properly so baby ended up sleeping on the bed with my husband and i.
Hotel's not exactly at the mtr station but the underground passage links you all the way to it so it doesn't seem a long way.
I would probably stay here again.

I'm lucky to get free upgrade for my reservation. The suite is terrific. Elegant decoration. The standard room is also great, but only has a shower place in the bathroom. This particular Renaissance is living off its excellent location and previous excellent quality. However, this hotel did not let me forget that I was paying a low price through HotelTravel (e.g.: I was not given Marriott points for my stay, my room did not have a refrigerator - just water.) The place just did not seem like the Renaissance hotel I had been to a few times before when it first opened. But the location near the harbor is great. You must walk through the tunnels to get to everything else, but that is OK and typical of that section of Kowloon . Room is clean and worth the money charged through this agency.

What I want most in this hotel is that they immediately attend to your needs. Like for example, my son got his hand stuck on the elevator door. When we got to the front desk they immediately attend to our needs. They brought us ice for the inflamed finger of my son. They even checked the elevator so that no future accidents will ever happen again. Finally, they told us that if we would be needing a physician to check on my son's finger, their in-house doctor will take care of it. I was really glad I checked in to New World Renaissance Hotel Hong Kong. I highly recommend this hotel.

This New world renaissance hotel is very nice hotel. It is very convenient and colse with harbour and star ferry. Also, I have conference at Inter continental. It is next to that Hotel. First of all, Price was very excellent via HotelTravel.com. Very thank you and I will use in next time again.

Check-in was efficient and Reception staff were pleasant. They give out welcome boiled sweets, which is a nice touch. The room was on the 7th floor and was quiet for a hotel room - very little noise from other rooms/lift/corridors/streets etc. and it was also quite spacious for a Hong Kong hotel room.

Air condition was too cold in the hotel, mainly in the corridors. Overall: excellent, - but a bit expensive for us. We hope to return.

Next to the hotel on the waterfront is "Avenue of Stars" which I learnt of only afterwards.
