I was treated wonderfully nice in several respects: a)The initial room given to me was a standard room without an internet connection but on my request I was upgraded to a much better room with an internet connection which was just HK$ 50 for 24 hours (not one day) which was more than enough for my 4 day stay. b)The attendent did not wait for tips (I had no cash as I had just landed and had no time for changing the TCs) c)Laundry, room services etc were timely . d)Tour desk gave me a HK$ 30 discount for the second trip I booked with them e)location is very good next to the lively temple ...

i liked the nathan hotel because of its convenient location in kowloon and also because i felt safe and my belongings secure when i was out of my room, which is important to me as i do a lot of shopping in hong kong.If i had to name a negative aspect it would probably be that the hotel charges $50 HK to use their internet service even for a few minutes each time that you use the net

Nice hotel , good location close to night market, helpful friendly staff at check in and tour desk, good breakfast buffet, clean rooms.Bar did not open till 5 p.m. and service in restaurant for breakfast and souper was terrible. Hotel can over all be recommended and has good value for money.

I like the service of the hotel, really feel very comfortable. a larger tv will be much appreciate inside the room instead of the living room, as most of the time will be using the smaller tv to watch

Nathan Hotel is always my first choice when I visit Hong Kong for the last 5 years. The staff is friendly, it close to public transport and shops, easy locat for Dinning. And I very appreciate for their service, they are friendy and professional. Even the bell captain, courtesy and customer oriented. Will visit them again on March.

The check-in was disappointing as we did not get a double bed (as requested during the booking on the internet). They were not very helpful at first, but after we kicked up a fuss, they helped us out by giving us a room with joined single beds, and changed our rooms the next day to a one with a double bed.

The bedroom size and standard of furnishing was very good. Our bathroom was not large but okay and included a bath. The included breakfast gave a good range of choice for breakfast, and the staff were attentive to our needs. The MTR was only a short walk away for transport, and there was an excellent chinese restaurant just around the corner ( and a Starbucks downstairs).

the room was smallish but adequate, hotel staff friendly and helpfull. The location of the hotel was purfect for me as the temple street market was very close by and it saved me a lot of time and trouble carrying stuff. The only disapointment was the so called business centre, the only thing i could find were two computors near the lobby but they were never on and I could not get them on and while I was attempting to access them I was not helped by staff who who were close by. Just the same overall I was pleased with my stay.

it wasn't rally far from shopping area's but it wasn't worth walking to. cause you already walk a lot during the actual shopping i didn't want to wack back. it's not really in the heart of shopping malls. but it's ok for the price. i booked late so didn't have many choices, compared to that it was okay. the room was really small. a bed, desk, bathroom, TV ant that's it. not really spare space. it was clean enough. but chilly. the worst part was the the airport shuttle doesn't come to the hotel, so you gotta get a cab(if you have a lot of luggage, like me) or walk to the nearest stop. it takes about 3~5minutes to Jordan station and there are a lot of bus stops near by. there's 7/11 not far from the hotel and Starbucks one the first floor. breakfast is eatable(not great). I first felt it was like a Inn/motel rather than a hotel(I would think of Hyatt or Hilton) but overall it was clean and OK. though, i dont's think i would go again(it was my first visit to hongkong) now i know better locations of hotels to stay at. my priority would be location>price.

Very conveniently located along Nathan Road, close to a lot of shopping venuies and dining options; buffet breakfast is limited but a good value if you get it complimentary with the room.

The complimentary breakfast (except the bacon and eggs) are excellent. They serve a variety of freshly-steamed dimsum that really starts the day right. Location may not be the best since it is almost equidistant to two subway stations (therefore, a walk of at least 4-5 blocks in either direction), but the hotel's service and facilities make up for it.

We paid USD98 for a standard twin room with breakfast. The breakfast is good. The hotel is best at its location, a very short distance to access to Jordan MTR, many complexes for shopping and night market for souvenirs(need to bargain). The Starbuck is right at the corner. Room is more spacious if compare to other hotel, but the bed is soft and boiling pot is stained. Hopefully the hotel could improve it. In future I will choose this hotel again for its location.

I booked this hotel as a final alternative, the BP Int'l and YMCA Sailsbury being fully booked. I was quite sceptical after reading through the reviews on this site and especially on some other hotel webpages. I was very-very pleasantly surprised: the hotel was good, the room was great too (OK, they gave me a two-bed room, as their single rooms were all occupied, - so I don't know how small is a single room, - my double one was bigger than I imagined), the location is excellent, too - only 5 min walk from Jordan MTR station. The only weak point was the breakfast (narrow choice, same every day), but as I do not eat too much for breakfast, for me that was ok, too). Anyway, to me both the hotel-interior and the room seemed brand new/recently renovated, and there was no signs of the complains which I read about in the other reviews. In a word, pleasant surpside, great stay! Recommended!!

Excellent location near public transport -- nice room (on the small side but fine for a very reasonable price) Remarkably quiet for busy Hong Kong-- good restaurant. We particularly appreciated the "Bali Bar" (? not sure of the exact name) which is a real oasis of calm in busy Hong Kong.

Room was much bigger than we had anticipated. We were traveling as a family of 4 adults and had requested 2 rooms near each other. The hotel managed to locate us in 2 very nice rooms which were connecting by a door in each room so that was an added bonus. The rooftop bar was very beautiful (happy hour was good!) and although we did not eat in the hotel restaurant, we had a look and it looked very nice. The staff at reception, the concierge and the tour desk were all very helpful. Very happy with our stay,

In short you will not be unhappy that you booked this hotel.

I had to call the front desk for an outlet because there were no available ones except for the hot water pot. I had to charge my camera and phone using one plug outlet! Poor room design! Although there was an outrageous price for internet usage, I was directed to go across the street to use the hotel next door's internet cafe. So the following week I booked a room in the hotel across the street and it was $25USD cheaper for more amenities!

The only bad thing about this hotel is that the housekeeping is quite poor as they charge other people's laundry expenses to our room and it took quite a long time before they were able to right the wrong and the front desk staff were obviously not too happy in the 1st place! Also they charge a HK$20 for a 'missing' tea spoon which we did not even know it existed or not?!
