This is my third time in Hongkong, and this time Im with my wife and 2 kids and I need a bigger room. Miramar Hotel fits what I need. Before I made booking with this hotel through Hotel travel, I was informed that it is under renovation. I was afraid that it might be noisy and we would feel uncomfortable but it turned out good. Its just that on our first day, there was something came out of the bathtub, some bubbles or something, But the staff was so kind and they transfr us to another room and gave us a complimentary basket of fruits. My kids was happy. The staff there was friendly and nice.....

The room where we were billeted was too small. Renovations were also on going during that time and the noise was a little bit bothersome at night. We were however given a noise survival kit upon check-in which shows that the Management gives priority to the welfare of their guests. The breakfast buffet was not the typical buffet set up. Choices were to be made from the menu and this will already included the cereal, fruits and bread on display. A bit pricey so we ended up eating outside the following days

The hotel was pleasent, location perfect the staff were absolutly friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee making facilities, but there were no spoons! :) . Apart from that a wonderful experiance, highly recomended, we will certainly be back! thanks!

Good hotel, right near all of the shopping points in Kowloon & one of the very few that will accomodate the family (2 adults & 2 kids) in the one room. Staff very helpful. Pool is a little cold & really only for lap work, but there is a very good family oriented pool literally across Nathan road which will satisfy the kids. Lots of good quality value for money restaurants nearby for the budget conscious also. Overall a good stop over hotel for the family in HK

the staff were all very polite and very attentive. however, i saw blood stains in my comforter on my first night and i saw a lot of hairs in the bathtub and sink when i first saw the bathroom. the location was ok. the hotel is near the mtr but far away from nathan road. when we requested for an extra bed, the front desk person gave it for free. yey!! thanks for making our stay a memorable one.

We've stayed in HK 17 times before this holiday, but it was our first stay at the Miramar. Very impressed - hotel rooms were larger than expected and very well appointed. Staff were all extremely willing to assist anyway they could. Will definately stay there again. Great location - opposite the Kowloon Park which is a wonderful park to visit.
The only reason it isn't 'excellent' is that it is a fairly old hotel, and whilst having been renovated, is still slightly 'tired' in some areas - but certainly nothing of importance.
We found the staff went out of their way to assist with any requests we had. I'd booked two rooms, asking for connecting rooms if possible - that is exactly what we got. Requested a baby cot for one of the rooms and it was waiting for us, make up really well, exactly when we needed it.

Noted some renovations carried on during the day that make it difficult to rest in the room during the day. It is disappointing that I was not informed in the 1st place. I feel that HotelTravel should highlight this in their website so that the traveller is well informed to make their decision.
Advise the hotel concerned to train their staff to on more smile !!! They appear unfriendly to me except one or two staff.

I arrived at 8.30 am.... room was not ready which was ok...I left my baggage with the concierge. I had booked a single standard room and the room I receieved was on the fifth floor, with two beds and very nice and also quiet. Breakfast cost AUD$17 and there was plenty of variety in the large buffet...some dishes were probably not hot enough...but the service etc was fine. There was a large bar downsatirs with many locals frequenting it...it also served complimentary snacks(peanuts, pretzels etc with drinks which were the normal expensive cost in Hong Kong ( $55 HK per beer). I used their tour desk to book 2 day long tours and all went well. I enjoyed my stay there, it was good value and would use it again.

Overall, a nice hotel and I would stay there again. Late night reception staff didn't make a good impression and no way to control room temp and fan speed meant I awoke with a stuffy nose each morning. Restaurant meals were very good but I didn't check out the bar, lounge or room service. Great to find an indoor swimming pool in Hong Kong!

I travel to HK often but this hotel was certainly the best, situation was perfect food great meals were discounted by 20% if staying there. also Seniors got an extra 10% discount,very very good food, cannot fault this hotel, will certainly stay there again & will recomend to any of our friends or business associates. we were also very pleased with HotelTravel service much appreciated
