We were upgraded to a suite on the top floor which provided for very large rooms complete with kitchen and living room. By far the best ratio of cost to quality in Hong Kong. The location of the hotel is within walking distance to everything. We stayed in a suite on the top floor. This provides for large comfortable rooms.
The hotel is well located and the lobby area is not big, but well layed out.
Quick check-in, and very friendly English speaking staff. Close to everything; can walk to metro or many shopping locations within 5 minutes from the hotel.

We stayed at Kimberley for 9 days, the location is central to shopping, restaurant, mtr, etc. The room is comfortable size for 2 persons and the room service was well carried out. The Kimberley Hotel has an excellent location for my purposes. It is convenient to shopping, mass transit as well as having a taxi stand right at the front door. My standard room was excellent. The only down side I found was the cost of in-house services. The meals, while very good, were expensive and the drinks in the bar were exceedingly high. I would stay there again.

The location of Kimberley Hotel is excellent. Though not as close to the main road as the Mira Hotel, it is just a short 5 minutes to the nearest MTR station. There are 3 restaurants (Cafe, Japanese and a Chinese). We haven't had a chance to try the Japanese and the buffet food in the cafe did not appeal at all. We, however, tried the Chinese restaurant 2 times during our staty and were very satisfied. Room guests get 20% discount on all food services and this make the already satisfactory dining experience in the hotel's Chinese Restaurant even more awesome. We didn't go to the pool, nor the gym - that's not what we went to Hong Kong for! Shopping around the hotel is just excellent. The room was of reasonable size, and quite comfortable. It's true good value for what we had paid for.

The room wasn't magnificent but it was definitely value for money. It had all the amenities that we needed and they had a Watsons branch downstairs which was really convenient. The location was good and close to the public transport and the shops. My only complaint was the towels were a bit hard and didn't smell nice, but other than that it was okay.

The Kimberley enjoys an excellent location. Shopping, restaurants and all transportation are just outside the front door with the excellent MTR subway system within a short walking distance. Hong Kong Harbor is also a short walking distance away where you'll find the cheap ferry to Hong Kong Island, hydrofoil ferry terminal to Macau, etc. The room is fairly small but very clean and comfortable. The hotel's staff is very friendly and very accommodating. This is our 4th stay at the Kimberley and we plan to stay at the Kimberley next year.

Ive been to different hotels in Tsim but this hotel is very far from shopping areas. Very near to Mira Hotel and Parklane Blvd. Cable Connection is very limited. Beds are quite small and the light suddenly open even you are not doing anything. hotel facility is not of much delight. Good Enough if you have limited budget.

I think this is a value-for-money hotel. For me, the most important factor is rooms have to be clean, and I think Kimberly pass on this point. Came with basic amenities, kettle and so on. But there was no safe, and I would not use the wardrobe, which was pretty grimmy. Rooms are small, but that was ok. And location is quite convenient with food nearby. Although the entrance into the hotel is a bit inconvenient. Still I will recommend this, if basic value-for-money is what you are looking for.

I booked the hotel two months in advance. I paid for that $150 per room. In the day , my money was taken, (about 10 days before my first night) the price of the room only was $127. It doesn't come to the money here. It is just not fair enough. Perhaps this is the way the system works, but I feel somehow bad. For the "secured" clients the price is higher than for those , who come in the last moment. In my oppinion, it shouldn't be like that. Everything else was OK.
Narrow room, but very clean. Knowing that evething in HK is small and narrow, everything is fine. In Europe this hotel would never be rated 4 stars. But for HK perhaps this is normal. I met 2 teams - one female one male. The male one definitely was the better one. The female one forgot to give us new teethbrush and soap, however, they took the old ones. No comment about that. The hotel is located in the heart of Kowloon. Exellent location. MTR station Tsim Sha Tsui located at 3 mins walking, plenty of taxi cars ans bus stops.
The food in HongKong could be strange for people who are not used to it.

We found the Kimberley Hotel to be a great choice, and good value for money as well. We stayed there as a stopover on the way to our holiday in Europe. Position was fantastic, in the centre for everything. And tours were made so easy to arrange - picking you up and returning you to the Hotel. Even though there were no safes in the room - their safety deposit box room and the security that went along with it was excellent. Rooms were nice and clean, which is very important, and nothing was to much trouble. We would definately recommend this hotel, and will stay there again.

If you're looking for a simple, clean hotel to stay in the Tsim Sha Tsui area, you might want to try Kimberley Hotel. Nothing fancy, but facilities are adequate. Front desk was kind enough to give us a late check out (2PM) during our last day.
Booking was confirmed quickly, payment was billed 1 week before our flight. What more can you ask for?

The only problem we had was that the rooms were not ready when we arrived at 3pm. We were told that they would be ready in one hour and because we were tired and had a lot of bags we couldn't go outside the hotel to eat lunch. The lunch at the hotel was very expensive. After the hour we went back to the reception and the rooms were still not ready. The assistant manager first told us to wait another hour and was not very helpfull. We had to ask for his boss and he went to the back room and in 3 minutes the rooms were ready. Otherwise, the double room is small but in HK everything is small. The triple room was bigger and my kids were glad to see that the third bed was a real bed and not a cot. The location is as good as advertised. Everybody mentions the shops and subway location but the History and science museums are only 10 minutes away walking and the Kowloon park with its 5 swimming pools is only 2 blocks away. We stayed in 10 hotels in 12 days during our vacation and some newer hotels in China were not as good as thie Kimberly.

Definitely value for money compared to neighbouring hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui! Location is excellent. 5-10 minute walk to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, with many shops and food outlets near the hotel. The reception and concierge staff are very polite, professional, and unassuming. There is no safe in the room though. The views from the room is blocked by other nearby buildings, so I had my curtains closed all day long.

Location is effortlessly accessible via free shuttle bus (choose K5 bus) from Kowloon Station after taking Airport Express train from Lantaw airport. Bus drops you off right in front of hotel. Return to airport was equally easy specially with the available in- town luggage check -in at Kowloon Station. Hotel is very clean and hotel staff were very helpful and quck to respond to guest needs, although our defective TV never got fixed. General location is ideal as it is in the heart of the shopping and eating areas in Tsim Sha Tsui. MTR access also excellent, merely a 10 minute walk to the nearest station. I would use this hotel again and would highly recommend it.

An Older Style of interior but very clean and comfortable. A very large king sized bed. Very good air conditioning. The room was short of storage space for the two weeks luggage that we had...no chestof drawers and minimum cupboard space. Excellent bathroom and shower facilities. We had half a dozen meals in the hotel and the service and quality was very good....and not expensive. I would stay again

Rooms a bit small, but well designed, clean, and very pleasant. All staff encountered were freindly, helpful, and very professional. Very much in the middle of anything you'd want in Kowloon. Room, corridors, elevators and all areas I encountered were spotless. A short cab ride to Ferry and airport train. I did not use any other public transport. I had a 17th floor room. There was no street noise, nor any loud sounds from any other rooms.

Good location, size of the room was adequate, good value for the money. There were many restaurants in the area, a laundry nearby because the laundry service in the hotel was very expensive. Would have been nice to have someone smile while performing services for you!

Nice room, somewhat dated, but good size. No lamp on desk, but rest of room and bathroom well lighted. Bed was quite stiff, had to order soft mattress pad which made it bearable. Limited room service, but resturants were quite good. No safe nor complimentary water bottle. All in all, a nice room for the money. No view to speak of. Use of intenet is $HK30.00 for 30 minutes minumum.

The most thing I like in this hotel was, it was very close to the shopping areas and very near Nathan Road where there's an easy acces to public transport as in lots of public buses that can bring you to anywhere you want. One thing more is the location is very close to TsimShaTsui MTR station.

When we checked in they gave us a twin bedroom and requested a double as we had booked. The other party we were with also requested a double and Kimberley were not able to move them. Their party consisted of 2 adults and one child 11 years, the room that they had was a twin. The rooms are very small. I stayed at the Majestic and the room size bigger as well as the hotel is more updated.

What I liked most was the area which quite convenience for travel in town such as MTR. The room is too small and uncomfortable to place the luggages and cubboard also too limited space for hanging the clothes.

Room was clean and cosy to get back to after a day of touring. However, I think broadband internet connection should be provided free for guests. It is becoming the norm for hotels to provide such services and I really think that per hour charging or per day is just not acceptable.

The room service is prompt and accommodating. The chambermaids are extremely polite and they greeted me and my wife each morning before we started our day in Hong Kong. That really gave me a good impression of the service because they are the very people that tend to my staying needs and it made my day by feeling welcomed to Hong Kong each and every day. The proximity of the hotel to food outlets, shopping places and transportation is an another added bonus for guests staying in Kimberley Hotel as that is what matters most to a lot of visitors going to Hong Kong. The hotel is value for money and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel that is good in service and located in the heart of action in Hong Kong. I have read many reviews for this hotel commenting on the tiny rooms. I stayed in 2 rooms - a double and a triple, and found them to be amply spacious and not tiny at all. The rooms were well appointed, with all the usual features. They were also nice and quiet. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with many things within walking distance, and an LRT stop not far away. The hotel is easily reached by shuttle bus from the airport (unfortunately not free). I really enjoyed my stay at the Kimberley, and will certainly stay there again on my next visit to Hong Kong.

Kimberley Hotel's biggest advantage is its location. It is very convenient. It's close to MTR station, 7-11, many shops and many restaurants. The rooms are small though, however, staying in Hong Kong, I was prepared to stay in a small room. Although the room is small, it is clean and service is also good. I recommend this hotel to anyone who requires good old-fashion convenience and cleanliness over luxury.

The Kimberley Hotel is clean, nicely kept, and safe. It's location is great because of it's proximity to transportation, restaurants, and shopping centers. The standard room was adequate for my needs (a place to sleep while staying in Hong Kong). Employees were friendly and courteous. I'd highly recommend the Kimberley Hotel if all you want is a place to sleep in and if they are discounting their room rates. Otherwise, if you have to pay full price, there are other hotels that offer more value for your money (amenities, interior design, comfort, etc).

Room was very clean and comfortable. Amenities were very nice, especially the bathrooms. Full service hotel, all the options/services I needed, including a good business center. Very prompt and friendly employees. Close to public transportation and within walking distance to most attractions. Restaurant was very good but a but expensive compared to other local restaurants. Public transportation was close by, a short walk to subway, bus lines. Taxis always available at the hotel. A very nice hotel, in a great location for the money. Others in the area are considerably more expensive. I've stayed here twice and enjoyed the facility each time. I would stay there again.

My stay twice at Kimberley have been extremely pleasant and memorable. The staff at Kimberley are excellent. Though not the benchmark standard but the reception is courteous and polite. They can be flexible with certain rules too if you ask politely. At the end of the day, you can practically feel the service coming from the heart. The housekeepers behaved discreetly and very unobstrusive; pleasantries are exchanged wilfully. This is something that every tourist would cherish: privacy and pleasant stay. The concierge is also a happy and friendly lot if not a little over-enthusiastic to offer ther services sometimes. Nonetheless, great service altogether.
The rooms are immaculately clean for a relatively "worn" building. Hot water supply is reliable and the hair-dryer decent (although the air was not hot enough, but reasonable as compared to some other budget hotels). Aircon was powerful and the room was also pleasantly quiet despite being in the heart of busy TST.

Dissapointed with my stay here, we was placed in a room where the window was facing a wall of another building roughly 2 foot away, making the room dark and cold. The rooms are smaller than other Hotels I have stayed in Tsim Sha Siu. However it is close to public transport with plenty of restaurants, drinking establishments, and shop around.
