I used to stay at this hotel last year by travelling agent ( Package Tour ) arrangement. At that time we stayed only one night in single room (sharing 3persons with extra bed) no abf.
The room was acceptable. That 's why we choose it again, but much disappointed. Double room is very narrow no viewing window, just lighting. Dirty bathroom and bad-smell air conditioner. No internet available, even upon our payment request. Door card out of order everytime my coming back to the hotel. Abf 's very awkful. I had breakfast there only one day and waste for another coupon. ( I saw a European guy coming to see food and then left without eating ) I think no more for me to stay here when next visit. we liked its location, it was very near the mtr station, public transpo was never a problem, near the shopping area and restaurants. but our stay wasn't so pleasant because we were not aware that the hotel was being renovated, thus it was dusty, the rooms were very small not so much space to move around, it wasn't cleaned, although we requested for it to be cleaned when we saw all the clumped dust, with unexplainable pungent smell.but the room was cold, aircon was ok. staff not so accomodating with limited smiles. phone room wasn't working. can't reach the front desk, housekeeping etc. pls recommend other hotels for us to stay in the future. thanks! room was small, smelly and dusty. phone room wasn't working. staff not so accomodating, not very friendly. with limited smiles. very near mtr, shops and restaurants. near the museum. The room was old and badly in need of redecoration. It smelled damp and musty. The halls were without wall paper, and I suppose it was in the slow process of renovation. The staff were friendly, and it was quiet since I had an interior facing room. Some of my HongKong friends who visited me said they were embarassed at the state of the floor and room. At over $900 Canadian the rate was over priced for the value received. Of course, the location is superb. A HotelTravel.com Member, Philippines
Has a good location to shopping malls and is directly across the MTR station.
If you won't be staying in the hotel room the whole day and would just sleep there after all your day activities, I would recommend this hotel. A HotelTravel.com Member, Canada
This hotel is way too expensive for the accomodation it provided. The Imperial hotel is old and smelly. I was placed on a floor where they were doing minor renovations everyday. It felt more like a motel than a hotel. I do not recommend this to anyone unless it's the very last possible option. The location was very convenient but the surroundings weren't very safe. The only redeeming factor was the location. Otherwise, very small rooms, cardboard like walls ( could hear the snore and conversation from the other room. A HotelTravel.com Member, Philippines
The location was excellent. In fact, I could not have asked for more with regards to its accessibility to almost anything and anywhere. However, the hotel was rather old. But this condition would not have been too bad were the facilities kept in spic-and-span condition, particularly the cleanliness of the room. The bathtub was not scrubbed off the scum, and the curtains inside the room were awfully dusty that I kept on sneezing while I was inside. It was a good thing that I only used the hotel to sleep in and did not have to spend much time inside. Also, the room keys won't work if you use them even a few minutes past check out time. I had to have mine re-programmed twice before I could get inside my room to collect my luggage.
THe HotelTravel.com booking system is very very convenient and hassle free. Once confirmed, you need not think of anything more. Plus, the price is reasonable. A HotelTravel.com Member, United Kingdom
hotel undergoing refurbishment until April 08 hence some floors in need of tlc and noise level due to workmen all day Ng Kok hua, Singapore
The hotel is under reno, situated at a good location and accessable to most areas.the standard rooms are really very small ,meant for single stay, hopefully there are bigger rooms for couple or family, if you are going for shopping spree, the standard room might be rather small. Overall experience is good, friendly staffs on duty during my stay. Montree C., Thailand
It really an over-priced rate for this poor standard hotel. Staffs are not service minded. Rooms are too small, same as the bathroom. I booked for triple room, but it came out to be a small room with an additional bunk. However the location is perfectly located in the heart of the Kowloon city. But overall, I found that it was not worth the price that I paid. |
