The Langham is a true 5-star hotel. The staff was extremely professional, friendly and willing to help. Because of the length of our stay we were upgraded to a delux room. We were extremely happy with the size of the room including a small sitting area where we could relax at the end of each long day. Fruit and bottled water were always available each day. Prior to arriving in Hong Kong we were apprehensive about the hotel room because of all the prior reviews we had read (not about the Langham, but HK in general) describing small rooms, miniscual bath rooms, etc. To our surprise, none of that...

The hotel was under construction. It's very noisy almost during the whole time we stayed there. The lobby is much more luxurious than the room (quite disappointing when you get a very good impression when you first step into the lobby, and then step into a very standard room).

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at and I would highly recommend it to anyone. We felt pampered from the minute we arrived. We were escorted to our room by one of the supervisors on duty to be sure that the room met our expectations. From your own slippers being put by your side of the bed, to the bed being turned down nightly, ice bucket filled nightly, and fresh fruit daily, what more could you ask for.

I stayed at the Langham Hotel for six nights and my children especially, liked the pool. I chose this hotel for two reasons: The pool and the location. Both were good. One thing I don´t understand is the policy of a maximum of three persons per room. We´re a family of four people. Our kids are 13 and 10 years and we would have had plenty of room in one room. Instead we had to book two separate rooms, which made the stay more expensive. The week before we stayed in a HK Disneyland-hotel where it was possible for us four to stay in just one room.

Hotel in good location, service is good but room is too small and a bit smelly. Furniture too old. No wireless connection on club floor, which is very important for business traveller. Staff are quite helpful and polite. Close to my office, in walking distance, and easy to go around for shopping.

Upon arrival, we walked into a fabulously decorated hotel lobby to smiling faces everywhere. All aspects of our check-in were handled efficiently. The pool and health center are top notch and should be used if you have time. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hong Kong (business or leisure).

The hotel is in a fantastic location if you want to shop. I feel it may be slightly ovestated as a Five (5) Star Hotel though. Our room was okay but small as I understand many rooms in HK are. I must admit that I didn't ask to see any other rooms and the one booked through this site may just be their cheaper version. anyway, we did have a great time and I would highly recommend the Langham Hotel for anyone looking for shopping convenience.
