Our group (totally 7 people) had 3 rooms. 2 of them was very cold (temperatures around 15C) and when hotel provided 3 person room, we thought that we are going to have one bigger room, but we only got normal 2 persons room with extra bed, so that room was quite small after that and a small dissapointment also.
Otherwise the location was good and I can recommend the hotel for short period stays.

The hotel is located very near to the MTR and it's also within walking distance to Mongkok which offers good shopping. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel offers good food and is not expensive. In fact, it offers good value for money! HK$70 got me a bowl of soup, dim sum [which consists of a char siew bun, a siew mai, a prawn dumpling (har gou) and 2 other types of dumplings], a bowl of fried rice and a bowl of red bean paste. Fantastic!

I liked it that it was so close to Prince Edward Mtr, and is walking distance to shopping places like Ladies' street, Fa Yuen street and Allied Plaza! There were 7-11 and a few restaurants just opposite, one of them closes at 3am. Around the corner there is a good breakfast place as well!Also, check in and out was fast and no frills, we had no disturbance during our stay as well. Clean and spacious room compare to other hostels I have stayed in. Definitely will stay there again!

Location is good. Just 3 minutes walk to Prince Edward mrt & 15 minutes walk to the happening Mongkok shooping area like ladies street. Staff is friendly and willing to help. TV programme is disappointing, only 10 channels. Room space is small but i guess this is common in HK.

Hi. I stayed in this hotel because of good reviews by other guests. Truely the comments about the hard bed, very close to MTR Prince Edward, friendly efficient front office staff, good bakery, etc are found to be correctly and closely reported. I enjoyed my 3 nights stay on the 12th floor with window. The bathroom floor did get flooded whenever I showered but I placed the floor mat outside the bathroom for drying my leg and that solved my problem quite easily as long as the flood water did not flow out and wet the bedroom. Seriously if I were the hotel owner.I will initiate work to rectify this bathroom flood problem. It is not about chokage. It is the very slow rate of drainage as the water did get drained off eventually over the night. One saving grace is the long shower hose long enough which I can use to wash the toilet seat before use. On the whole I have been a very satisfied guest staying at this hotel for the first time. I will stay here again when I visit HongKong.

Room size a bit small, air-con was not cooling enough. There is no complimentary mineral water provided to guest which Metropark in Macau had provide two bottle of mineral water everyday. Location is good, very near to MTR about 3 mins walk.

Minus points: a) They charged you for the mineral water in the room! (b) can hear the noise clearly from the room next door.
Plus points: a) excellent location! (b) clean room (c) room size not as small as what's been described in the traveller review, reasonable size. (d) hard but comfortable bed. (e) an internal door between two rooms that can be opened up as one big room for bigger family, convenient!

Hotel very clean, staff excellent, very central position. food wise, excellent. ask for highest floor level, as the road is very busy & traffic can be heard. Not that one watches TV on holidays, but english news non existant. My only other critisim is no safe in the room. Best bakery in the foyer.

On the first night we got a room that was too small and the aircon was not working. The problem was promptly solved and we moved to a much bigger, cooler room. The walls are so thin that you can hear conversation from the other room. I had to get up in the middle of the night to tell our "neighbor" to tone down a little. Other than the above, the hotel is really value for your money. Housekeeping was helpful and efficient. We never ran out of towels and other toiletries. Room was clean. Location was the best.

The hotel rooms are a bit old and the carpets need to be changed. The bell service was excellent, including transportation to and from airport, holding customer's baggages etc, service at the door and room. This hotel is very conveniently located at busy Mongkok area, close to all eating places, shopping and the light rail transit station. They allowed their customers to smoke in the bedrooms which is not very healthy for the rest of us non-smokers. I will stay there again just for the convenience.

This is the second time within the same trip that we stayed in this hotel. Great location, convenient to everything as well as friendly staff members. There's even a hair salon and cake shop in the hotel. There's lots of China tour packages (via bus) behind the hotel if those interested to explore into China. Will definitely stay there again in our next trip.

This is one of the best hotels we stayed so far in Hong Kong. Close to public transport MRT Station and shopping areas. It's also close the night markets, small bird park, flower market as well as large shopping complexes. The surroundings has signage (in pink colour) to direct you to see the tourist spots which we find very helpful.

What we liked about the hotel was the location and the availability of a free shuttle service to the shopping/tourist areas (eg: Mongkok Street Market/Tsimtsasui)
What was not too pleasing that our internet reservation was poorly administered i.e. the travel voucher sent by mail indicated that our reservation was for Metropark Kowloon but on the ground our reservation was actually made with Metropark Mongkok. We wasted some time sorting this out when we arrived. Best to call and confirm beforehand

The efficiency of the staffs, makes me only take a short time to check in the Hotel.
Besides that, the Hotel staffs are very friendly (excellent service).
Somemore the Hotel is very near to the MTR Station,
which is very very convenient after tired walking for whole day.

Excellent location, but the beds are quite hard and uncomfortable. There was a persistent noise coming from what I think was a fan, and the staff was unable to help. Additionally, I asked for an electrical converter for use with American electronics. The staff was unable to provide one and instead suggested that I plug my devices into the "shaver only" outlet in the bathroom, which ended up frying my cell phone charger. Other than these mishaps, the rest of the staff was polite and courteous.

Apart from the beds being hard as a rock I have no problem recommending this place. It is just a minute's walk from the Prince Edward MTR - which is only 1 stop away from most of the shopping areas (which also puts them in walking distance if you're up for it). I will stay here again.

Good location, close to Mong Kok and MTR, as well as buses into Shenzhen, which are almost at the front door. A21 bus route from the airport is about 10mins walk down Nathan road, so a bit of a nuisance if you have a lot of luggage. A bit slow at the main desk but not unpleasant, hotel was reasonably clean and well positioned. paying peak room rates made this an expensive stay for the room quality, but reasonably happy overall. 3 stars is pretty close if not a tad on the high side.
Try YMCA house for better rooms and an even better position, although service with a sneer, ( couldnt get in there on this trip ).

The room is a bit small but good enough for the price. The bathroom is not as new as the room. If you want to leave your luggage at concierge overnight, you need to pay $HKD 10 each. The room size is okay, given HK standards. However, one very minus point is the shower. The shower head is simply not strong enough. My usual shower of 20 mins is lengthened to 35 mins. Rate of water flowing is so weak that I can sleep while in the shower.

We Were extremely impressed with this hotel it really is value for money. It is a bit out of the way but the MTR is very close by and taxis are always available.The rooms are nice and the bathroom is lovely, but the only thing is the beds were a bit hard otherwise it would have been excellent. And there was no guest lounge so after breakfast the shops were not open yet and your room was getting cleaned so you were at a loose end. Really outstanding service at Cheers Bar and the breakfast room. Food was excellent and the cake shop really value for money. We did enjoy our stay.

The room is big for a 3 stars. Toilet is spacious and clean with bath tub. Everything in the room is in good working condition. Good to know it has a electric kettle and a hair dryer. The location is perfect. Walking distance (3 mins) to MTR and 5mins to Fatt Yuen Street where the day market for budget shoppers is. Eatery is everywhere and some 24hrs ones surrounding the hotel. Hotel is centrally located, so you neither too far from airport/Disneyland nor Hong Kong Island/Ocean Park. Airport bus A21 stops right at the door step and bus E21 is only about 3 mins walk away if u want to save some money back to airport. Good experience and I strongly recommend this hotel to others.

No facilities like coffee or tea bag or even sugar and not even glasses for water. concierge staff was very rude when I tried to asked how much will it cost to take a taxi to ferry station. Noise level was unbearable as my staff and myself could hear the next room talking very loudly till 3am. Hotel staff should wear more smile on their face.

The hotel was a little bit old, furnitures maintainance was poor. Air conditioning was a little noisy because of ages. However, the location is OK for shopping. Food was good as that was the standard in Hong Kong.
