I really like the hotel's location. It's very accessible to everything. The ferry going to Macau, etc. is just a walking distance. The train is also a few steps away. There are night markets in the streets up to 1130pm. The personnel of the hotel are very accommodating and honest. ...

The room is clean. I liked the bathroom (clean, white and soft towels, Kohler toilet and lavatory, clean glass/tiles). It's really "sulit" (Filipino word for value for money) =) I will stay in BP International again.

I had to just stay one night in Hongkong to catch my flight next morning, hotel staff took my credit card details while checking in at 7.30PM but when we entered the room it was very small no movement space at all, furnishings were old and TV was 14 inch ,which I have not seen in last many years, above all the mini bar and Ref was empty, not even one small bottle of water was there in the room, when I called Reception the guy says you will have to pay then I got angry and told him that why you have taken my credit card details when there is nothing in the room, we were with family ( 2 kids) and no one came to even ask us if we have any luggage, We took 4 pcs of luggage ourselves from taxi outside to all the way to the room same next morning , the worst hotel experience I had in many years, i will not tell anybody to stay in BP International.

Again, Thanks for arranging our hotel accomodation in BP International, HK from Dec22-24,2008. We are very happy with our stay at BP Intl. Haven't encountered any problem from checking in until check-out. Everything went on smoothly. Staff are friendly and accommodating. I requested for an early check-in and since hotel is fully booked, we just left our baggages in the concierge area. The Quad Bunk room is just right for our family with 2 children maybe because we are Asian. They really liked it and the room given to us is with a window view. Requested for an extra pillow and in a few minutes, it was brought to our room. Vending Machine and water dispenser is availble in the floor area so very convenient for us. No need to go out of the hotel to buy one. As for the hotel location, very good coz just outside the hotel, taxis are lined up and near police station. Just in front of the hotel, 7-11, wellcome, money exchange, restaurants are all available even late at night. MTR is just 5-7mins walk from the hotel. Temple street, the known night market is just in front of the hotel. Macau Ferry a few minutes walk. Lastly, it only took us 30 minutes going to the airport by taxi. Overall, I would say, excellent service. Next time we go to Hongkong, I will surely booked again at BP International using of course, HOTEL TRAVEL. And I will recommend you and this hotel to all my friends. Again, thanks for the arrangement. HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

Overall, this hotel is not overly great. The rooms are quite small and the beds were as hard as table tops. There was no swimming pool or baths in the bathrooms. The breakfast (around $85 HKD) was very average by asian standards when comparing to Bangkok or Singapore. I think you could do a lot better for the price in Hong Kong - and with the excellent public transport on offer a central location is not imperative. I will stay elsewhere on my return visit to Hong Kong.

Staid two times in May and June with my wife and our 2 year 'old' daughter. The hotel itself is very good for its price, very clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent as there is Kowloon park withion 3 min walking distance with plenty of swimming pools for any age group, playground for small kids, green park with plenty of shade on a sunny day. Also within 10min walking distance accross the park to Macau ferry terminal.

My wife and I stayed in BP for 3 periods in month of December, 2007. We were being upgraded to the harbour view in all our stay and we saw the specticular firework from our room on the New Year eve. We found the bathroom a bit small, probably this is Hong Kong standard. The location of hotel is excellent, just a short walk to the Jordan MTR, and 20 minutes walk to the Star Ferry. Staff at BP are friendly and provide assistance efficiently. We would stay at BP in our next visit to Hong Kong.

I enjoyed my stay in BP International, hope I could've stayed longer. Hotel travel is really doing a good job in offering lower rates than other hotel websites. Compared to other 3-star hotels in Hongkong, BP can be rated as 4-star due to its big lobby, high ceiling and spacious room (I think we even had an upgrade), tall building, 4 big lifts and our room had a view of the city and the harbour! Since we arrived early, we were allowed to check in at 11am and was even allowed to check out late, no questions asked (of course depending on their current occupancy level). The location was good also, as it's just across a mini-supermarket and 7-11 and it's being passed by buses and taxis. The waiting area for the airport bus is just 5 minutes walk. It's very near the subway and nathan road. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room and the sheets are clean. My only problem is the position of the TV which is at the side so it causes strain on the neck if you watch for long hours. I also wish their price is cheaper, similar to nice hotels in Singapore. Though their price compared to other 3 star hotels in Hongkong is already competitive.

We had a good time during our vacation in hongkong. BP international is an excellent hotel for family and travellers in a budget but are still looking for excellent accomodation and service. What I liked most about BP is its location. Since it was our first time in Hongkong, we did not experience any difficulty in going to BP. We rode the airport express train and took the shuttle bus from Kowloon station. We also liked the feel of the hotel. Everybody were most accomodating and would answer anything that we asked.
I also would like to say that HotelTravel.com was very efficient. We did not have any difficulty in checking in and out.
We will use HotelTravel.com again for our bookings and will definitely stay at BP International again on our next hongkong sojourn.

You had very good selection of food for breakfast and the waiter service for the evening meals was very good.

The rooms and bathroom were very clean, beds and blankets soft and the size of the TV just right for our room. The carpet didn't have any stinky smell unlike other hotels. The english-speaking housekeeping staff always made sure we had fresh towels and toiletries. I requested for extra pillows and a universal adapter to charge my cellphone and camera which landed in my room in less than ten minutes from the time I called housekeeping. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were there to answer all my questions.... where was the nearest train stop, how to get to Macau and Disneyland, where to catch the Symphony of Lights, etc! My view could have been better if it were facing the harbour, but for $76 a night, I couldn't complain! The lobby could use more couches. Overall, I would give it 4.5 stars over 5. My most recent trip to Hong Kong was already my 6th, but thanks to HotelTravel and BP International, it felt like I was experiencing Hong Kong for the first time! I can't wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay at BP International. The hotel was beautiful and we were happy to discover it's affiliation with Bayden Powell (thus BP) and the Scouting Program. The only disappointment was the food available. We did the buffet one night and felt like there wasn't a big selection. Also, there didn't seem to be anything there in the mid price range as far as food went. Other than that, our stay was perfect.

Surprised to find out this is a scout's HQ and being one ages ago had a great time exploring some of the updated scout equipment and recall the very old one I used to have. This would be a good additional information, no other hotels can boast of this. Got a very accomodating conciege service for left luggage for those leaving late.Would stay here again on return visits.

the lobby is big but compare to the room with bunk beds for a family of 4 people, when we should have paid for 2 standard room. the room is too small even for 2 people, needless to say, we were so disappointed and it was really spoiled our trip after was exhausted from an excursion, we wanted to have a nice sleep but it was crowded inside the room, there's a tiny hallway and we could barely walk. it was such an uncomfortable staying and wanted the trip to finish sooner due to a hassle of cancellation, we didn't want to waste our time in finding a new hotel when the credit had been charged. overrall, bad experienced with this hotel room and won't recommend anybody. we realize that the land is too expensive but the family room the hotel should have been used as a single room...

We understand the criticism that the rooms are small but our room with extra charge due to parkview had a beutiful opening on Hong kong island, just very close in front of you with an enormous window so that it did not give any feeling of oppressive space limitation . The room is clean, the location is very good -- 7 Eleven across the street, and only 2 minutes you'll reach Nathan st. Staffs are friendly, but somehow they couldn't handle special things for example, I left the letter for my friend to come pick it up at the counter, but my friend didn't get it cos another staff said I didn't leave any. When I complained one staff said my message was kept in an envelop so my friend should mention "envelop"! ?*! So I think they need a better cooperation among them. I called and left the message for my friend, this time they passed the message, but only part of it & missing the most important one. Moreover, my friends tried to call me many times and the staffs seem to mess up with my first name/ lastname, and room number. Some friend cannot reach me as the staff said nobody picked up the call tho the fact is that I was in the room for the whole time. So I just wonder which room that hotel staff tried to reach me. By the way, the languages we communicate with Hotel staffs are both English and Chinese and we thought they got what we meant! Anyway, if you don't need to meet up with some friends there, this hotel will do just fine.

The room we were billeted in was small with a not so pleasant view of the outside, it was just worth all the pennies I paid. The real deal has got more to do with the hotel staff. There is a lack of courtesy and politeness from the people manning the front desk and the bell service. I guess a little smile and thank you from them would have been enough.

Very good location. The hotel and our room was very clean. Not much to say about its facilities because didn't have the opportunity to enjoy them. The only downside is the size of the room but it didnt bother me that much because we were only 2 adults plus one child so we didn't really need a big room in the first place. Our room was definitely very quiet because we were billetted at the 23rd floor. I rate it a 4/5.

This is a good choice for an inexpensive hotel right in the heart of Kowloon! Romms were small and beds hard by Norht American standards but were well appointed and very clean. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to the Star Ferry, subway and night market as well as Kowloon's Golden Mile. The price was very reasonable for Hong Kong and the hotel is not lacking for anything. I understand they even have rooms with bunk beds for the kids. The staff were very good. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurants but their is an excellent Chinese restaurant on the lower floor that serves dim sum during the day and has fresh seafood etc for dinner.

Value for money! This is one very nice hotel, the room was newly renovated and the interior is nicely done with modern furnishings. Absolutely better than the website pictures shown here. Don't expect a huge room although certainly it's nice and clean. The room we got was facing the Kowloon Park had a magnificent view. The bathroom is also not huge but than again it's newly renovated, nice and very clean. Location is very strategic, you can walk to Tsim Sa Tsui area and Jordan MTR is only 5 mins walk. Going to Tsim Sa Tsui MTR /Central MTR /Ladies market via Mongkok MTR is a short ride away. Certainly would stay there again and recommend it to everyone.

There's nothing i didn't like in this hotel. Location is very convenient, hotel staff very friendly and efficient. Room very clean. It's a hotel with a 3 star price tag and a 5 star service!! Will definitely stay there again.

Generally speaking the hotel is rather good, very impersonal and normally crowded with in and out guests. Very well positioned for shopping and sightseens around Kowloon. Food and services are good. It needs a proper business center for those on a business trip. For people in transit through HK for other destinations is a perfect place to stay if a hotel near the airport is not the choice.

The service was excellent. When we checked in we mentioned it was our honeymoon and were upgraded- no charge. The Scout museum on the 7th floor was also interesting if anyone has every been a scout.

Good location. Quite a few of the staff need to learn to smile and acknowledge folk when they are being kept waiting at busy periods. A smile goes a long way. Bellhops brilliant. Free internet access would be a bonus. Would stay there again.

Excellent location close to shops (including convenience store across the street).Transport good too but footpath narrow and no driveway entrance for pick up and set down if arriving by car or cab. (Free shuttle bus from airport train is around the corner) Staff were very prompt with my request for an adaptor for my phone charger. Only downside was getting through heavy foyer doors (not automatic) with two suitcases on my own.

The room size is fair and the location to shopping area is very far or need to walk pass thru the park but its inconvenience if you're carried a lot of shopping bags.

Hotel staff were very co-operative and helpfull. Room was clean and spacious. While no pool, there is one very close by in the park. I liked particularly the friendly nature and honesty of the staff. I left some travellers checques and they recovered them for me.

I was disappointed with my stay. The room needed updating. My room looked and felt like a price-conscious chain hotel. The lobby was nice, but the rest was in need of renovation. The property was tired looking, although they were working on renovations while I was there. I was very disappointed that the water was undrinkable, and I had to retrieve water from a dispenser in the hallway. A first for me in Kowloon! Close to subway and bus lines, taxis outside the door. Inexpensive, but I got what I paid for. An average hotel in a city filled with great hotels.
