As westerners, our visit was quite comfortable, being the selection of food to the western palate. Purpose of the stay was a result of a 6am surgery the following morning, so to be close to the hospital we stayed At the Regal. Then our surgery time had changed to late afternoon, resulting in not needing the stay after all. When we went to cancel our reservation, the cancellation policy was not like what we were accustom to in the Untied States. where if you cancel by 6pm the day of arrival there is no penalty or charges. So we went ahead and stay resulting in paying for a room that was not necessary.
The room was ornately decorated, the bed was okay and the pillow selection was limited to big somewhat fluffy pillows. We found a ladies pair of knee high nylons on the floor of the living room under the chair!!! The bathtub was posted as a jet tub but after filling the tub with warm water and the bath salts provided, relaxed in tub and went to turn on the jets and learned the jets did not work; this was a very dissppointing experience; especially knowing surgery was in the morning. The internet connections were terrific and truly made the stay productive. We were not able to take advantage of all the luxuries in the hotel, pool, spa, fitness center, etc. Breakfast was okay, more for the local visitors. The club floor lounge was a nice treat, great wine and snacks; we enjoyed this very much upon arrival. The upgrade was confusing and seem to go on forever,, you can A HotelTravel.com Member, Philippines

No chest of drawers. Counter space too small. No mirror over desk or the built- in ledge (several mirrors where you don't need them!). Bath room was leaking. No regular coffee in the room (only decaffeinated). A HotelTravel.com Member, Portugal
