We arrived at the hotel quite late at about 9pm. As all standard rooms which we initially booked for were full, they gave us a free upgrade to a suite, albeit on a smoking floor. (Note that there are only 4 floors of non smoking rooms out of 28 floors.) Except for the cigarette odours, the suite room was surprisingly spacious for a HK hotel room.
Next day, we managed to keep the free upgrade and got transferred up to a suite room on a non smoking floor. Although the odour was not there, the ventilation of the room was terrible. The air conditioning must have ill functioned or some other issues. The room was humid as the hottest day in Taiwan! The problem must also been made worse, as it rained heavily that day.
The location, although close to central on HK Island, is not readily accessible by MTR. Also, remember that the hotel provides a free shuttle bus service to Airport Express Station in Central. Staff working at Airport Express would tell you there is no service provided by them. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. It was a grest value for money: a suite room stay for HK$500 per night. Excellent Hotel, buses and Trams at the door
Was not as far from central as I had thought from reading other reviews.
Hotel was very clean, good size bathroom and seperate sitting area.
Highly recommended and I would definately stay there again A HotelTravel.com Member, Singapore
I did have a pleasant experience with the hotel staff, who had kindly granted me the wireless internet connection during my stay. This was a great gesture from the hotel staff extended to me due to problem with extracting the IP address during log-in, though I have purchased a HK$40 pre-paid card for one-time usage of 3 hours. Thank you and I am able to contact my business associates and wih usage beyong 3 hours.. A HotelTravel.com Member, India
The hotel rooms were somewhat small and so was the bathroom. Beds were not comfortable, they were actually quite hard. Overall experience was okay. Kunio Imamura, Japan
I enjoyed three-night stay in August 2006. I recommend this hotel if you are accustomed to taking bus or tram because there is no stop in a walking distance.
Advantage of this hotel is spacious room with noise-proof from neighboring room
Disadvantage of this hotel is narrow shower room without bathtub. A $20 taxi ride to downtown or free shuttle bus once an hour. In short, I believe that this hotel is the best value-for-money hotel, as stated in other customer's comment section. Kunio Imamura, Japan

Hotel Ramada was fine, only in the room we received there was not enough light. And during breakfeast people can smoke, which is terrible for other guests and the staff as well. A HotelTravel.com Member, Japan
