Rated #40 for all Hong Kong hotels
The location of the Hotel was very convenient if you are mainly sightseeing on Hong Kong Island, Rooms very clean looked like it had just been renovated. The buffet breakfast was great. The price of both the hotel and the buffet brekfast i thought was a little high, but it is Hong Kong afterall. The staff were really helpful and friendly. If I ever need to go back to HK, I would look at staying here again....

The distance to major shopping area is quit far. However all the streets in Honkong are with shop lots, so near by can easily get convenience shops and Restaurant. The Hotel is quit near the "DingDing" tram and Subway.

Well ok, on the whole i enjoyed the experience and would reccomend it with 3 stars out of 5. A bit over priced for my liking but the rooms were a good size and I managed to get up graded to a deluxe room with a view of the harbour which really raised the quality of the experience. The gym was ok and the sauna too although they should include these in the regular fee. The downsidce for me was one of the bell boys who helped me arrange a bus to the airport was not that polite. i was considering complaining to the manager as his attitude was not respectful to a guest and i told him so. On the whole i think if you stay in a deluxe room with a sea view, this will be a good place to stay.

Staff were unprofessional. Staff though that guests could not speak Cantonese and spoke unfavourable about the guests choices to another colleague, not realising that they could understand.

The room was clean and housekeeping was good, but a little smaller than I had expected. The hotel has a gym which I was looking forward to using but found this could only be done if you paid for it. The pool is small but good. The bar area was nice and you could eat food there. Staff we friendly and helpful asisting with almost any questions you may have. I liked the location as it was near to good shopping areas, the star ferry and convention centre, but in a slightly quiter area. The hotel was undergoing some building work whilst we stayed so the noise level and disruption was higher than nomal (I would imagine)

Unfortunately there was major renovation works at this hotel & when we arrived we were placed on a level just below the works. We were not pleased with this & after some discussion we were moved to a lower level which was a smoking floor & the room had water stained carpet & most unsatisfactory. Both of these rooms contained 2 single beds. We then spent more than 1/2 a day looking at alternative hotels & resolved to vacate, as we found a higher standard of accommodation at the same or less price nearby, but we were encouraged to stay by being shown & offered a 2 room suite which we accepted. Cleanliness etc in these rooms was adequate.
We feel that it is quite unreasonable to be expected to be paying the price of the accommodation & as we were booked for 6 nights it was not possible to persevere in such a noisy environment.

Great location. Nice and clean hotel. The room was a bit cold though, since the aircon didn't work properly. High speed internet worked well and the roomservice (club sandwich) was fantastic ;o)

When I initially booked this hotel through you I expressed my concern about arriving in the evening and needing transportation from the airport to the hotel. You told me to contact the hotel directly, which I did. On my arrival at the sirport there was no transportation arranged, I had to get there under my own steam. When I arrived at the hotel I told them I was disappointed in their service only to be told that I had to deal with Hotel travel. I explained I had not booked it through Hotel Travel. When I left I wrote a write up to the hotel to express my annoyance and fortunately I had saved the emails saying they would arrange transportation for me. When I got home I forwarded the emails to the concierge who then wrote me a note of apology and said they would like to offer me an upgrade if I ever return, but I have no intention of ever returning. Horrible experience dragging luggage around trying to find a bus or whatever.
