This was a good one night stay for our family. We have 2 little ones and they provided a baby cot. The market outside was fascinating for our children to observe as we went in and out. The staff was polite and friendly with a ready smile on their faces. Very convenient to the Subway system. A HotelTravel.com Member, Philippines
The hotel is very reasonable for its price. Clean, well-maintained and convenient. These are the 3 essential factors that one may consider. The hotel is close (walking distance) to any means of transportation like mtr, tram, bus etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would like to stay here again in the future. Excellent worth for money in views of the location of the hotel and the harbour view from the guest rooms though the downstaris of the hotel is a wet market. Overall speaking, I extremely satify wit hthe hotel and I certainly recommend to my friends and relatives. Cheng shi, China

The exterior environment is very poor, an open market. you can smell dead fish and see dirty water on the ground. Hotel room is decent, clean, quiet, and with seaview. the staff is helpful, friendly and efficient. With the price in hk, it is good already. A HotelTravel.com Member, United States
The location of the hotel is about 2 blocks away from the MTR. On the way there are many vendors in storefronts and on the street fronting the stores, similar to the Ladies Market in Mongkok. The room we obtained for 14 nights was average for HK which are usually on the smaller side. The carpet was stained in many places so slippers were necessary. Some of the sheets used had some holes about a inch in diameter. I noticed it a few times where we received these sheets. That was probably my biggest complaint was the linen used. It looked very old and worn especially the bath towels. These were so thin from wear and some spots were on some of them that you were still a little wet after trying to dry yourself. It was everyday too...not just some days but everyday the towels were so old and thin you would think they would replace something so hygenic for their customer use. The biggest plus? The water pressure was incredible in the shower. The strongest I have ever felt in any hotel, much less in my own house. Would probably not stay there again although the location was not too bad. I loved the location of the hotel.Tram is right outside the hotel or the mtr or bus is just a few min. from the hotel. There a plenty of eateries close by and a local market right outside the hotel. |
