After researching on HotelTravel.com and reading previous reviews my partner and I decided to go for the Metropark Hotel Causeway Bay and we ended up very happy with our choice. The location cannot be called anything else than excellent. Many busses stop just around the corner, the Metro has a station at 2 tot 3 minutes walking and there is a supermarket some 80 metres from the hotel. The (standard) harbourview rooms offer a great view (we were on the 17th floor which is somewhere in the middle of the 31 floors) and we had not really problems with the famous Hong Kong noise. Overall the hotel met all our requirements but the room was small and only had one chair despite being for two people. Convenient location close to MTR station and quiet. Would recommend.

A bit of a mix up had been made of our reservation, but we were bumped up to a suite and the room was fantastic. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the location was perfect for public transport. I will definitely stay here again

Only improvement I would suggest is a better waiting/seating area for arrivals. Airport operates all night (24/7) having a 4/5 hour wait for a room allocation with nowhere to sit (only two 2 seater tables) is tiresome in heat and humidity.

We visit Hong Kong once in about six months and always stay at the Metropark Causeway Bay. Location is excellent, just opposite the MTR and one MTR stop from the Causeway Bay shopping area. Hotel provides a bus to WanChai and Causeway Bay. Rooms are very clean and of average size. Harbourview rooms provide a good view of the harbour. Staff are very helpful and friendly

Location is next to Tin Hau MTR station, hence moving around is convienent. Hotel seem very new and clean. However, gym facilities and swimming pool is small. This is probably due to the small area.

Great Hotel ,definite value for monry. Easy access to transport,quiter area , good views clean, modern , will return when next in Hong Kong. Room was a bit small for two people, next time would requst an upgrade, great view though. I WAS PLEASED WITH FACILITIES NOT 5 STAR BUT NOT EXPECTED. Couldn't fault service, ROOM SERVICE, CONCIERGE ,CHECK IN, GYM all great. Only used cafe once so was pleased with standard. ROOM was cleaned daily to high standard so very happy. Hong Kong has one of the best transport systems I have ever used and with Tram, Bus & MTR SO CONVENIENT I could not fault. Staff answered every query I had clearly with no difficulties, booked the Happy Valley races & was wrapt. Pool Excellent, million dollar views on a moderate budget. Quiter location with great access to transport

First time at Metropark Causeway Bay very good quality/price value. Found nothing wrong . The building has 27 floors stayed at 11 Ocean View room. For whom cares about good view have to choose higher floor. Location is somehow quite and very handy to Public Transport (Tram and MRT). 10 to 15 minutes walking to the shopping area in Causeway Bay. Three staff at reception, fast and friendly. Not used restaurant service however had a quick looks seems OK.
I will definitively stay again anytime visiting HK.

The room was small but cleaned and great view. The staff was very helpful, friendly and professional. Very close to the MTR, right across the street at Tin Hau station. Neighborhood is across from Victoria Park and safe. At the corner is Wellcome...a local supermarket!! The hotel provided internet service, pool and roof access, and restaurant. The hotel is a bit far from the touristy area but yet you can just get there by MTR to Causeway Bay and Tsim sha shu. This hotel is more of a neighborhood, local feel.

In our opinion this hotel is extremely well situated for the visitor to Hong Kong, being close to key transport links such as the MTR and providing easy access to shopping areas. With a harbour view room we also enjoyed a 'sense of space' looking out over Victoria Park and this is certainly at a premium in this very busy and crowded city.

we came for one night on our way to Australia and it was the best choice. great location wonderful room, very plesent and clean, wonderful view to the bay and park and not too small, very comfortable bed, if there was a bath tab it would be perfect but the shower was big and nice. wondefrul food at the restaurant. We arrived in the morning after a very long 17 hours flight and recived the room right away. The transportation from the airport and back was excelant. if we go again to Hong Kong will definitely come back and recommend it warmly

I've stayed in many HK hotels before. Metropark is an excellent hotel for the price. Conveniently located, the staffs are friendly & very helpful. I asked for a Band-Aid for my wife's blistered foot. Not only did they obliged, they gave us 3 strips and ask if there's any thing else they could help. Great service and attitude by their staff.

We were greatly disappointed with the hotel. It was stated as a four star but did not even have a proper lobby. They had only two sets of seats at the so called lobby facing the reception.The standard size of the room was was below the average standard size. Hardly any space to even put our clothes and when the suitcase is placed hardly any room to move around.Only nice part is the clean and fairly large toilet in comparison to the room size. We felt greatly cheated as they have given us a small mini size single room as a standard double room. We will never ever recommend this hotel to any one.Very very over priced and the facilities were terrible. Even a Contenental breakfast for two slices of toasts with butter and jam cost us HK 98, which in real terms cheating in day light.We are regular visitors to HK but never been so disappointed with a hotel such as this .It looked nice on the web but horrible when you experience. As soon as we saw the size of he room we wanted to vacate but too tired to do so.Please take this out of your list.We did not even have a yellow pages directory and after several requests given one in Chinese and subsequently the English version.In all other hotels we did not ask for anything , they were all found in the room. Even the writing table was the dressing table as well with the drawer opening on top with a mirror.We even tried to bring our flight forward due to the lack of space and facilities in the hotel but unfortuantely the flights were full.We will never ever visit this hotel again .Only nice part was the proximity to MTR station , which is nothing strange as there are several other hotels that are close to MTR stations.
