Large rooms with a large king sized bed. All amenities such as hairdryer, fridge, shampoo, conditioner, etc. present and were all used. Dual flush toilet did not work well - we called the front desk and they sent someone up immediately to check - it turned out that we had to hold both buttoms down for about 15 seconds. Other family bathrooms flushed easier and quicker. Good location to the Tin Hau MTR - just across the street - very convenient and efficient buffet breakfast - good and large selection of food. Cost reasonable about $20 CDN per person. However, food outside ithe hotel is a bit cheaper - so we only at the the hotel the 1st morning. Bedding and bathroom maintained and kept clean daily. Mattress a bit firmer than I am used to but slept well. AC made it comfortable to sleep. It got cold though and a blanket was quickly brought up to the room when asked. Very pleasant and helpful front desk staff 2 computers available to use in the lobby - easy access.

Check in/out desk very efficient and polite. Room size was large esp. the king sized bed. Mattress was firmer than I was used to but no complaints of back pain in the morning. Small fridge was nice to have. Overall feeling of hotel room was very good. All the amenities of hair dryer, fridge, shampoo, conditioner, etc. were great and the products were good for my use. Bathroom was a good size and clean. I’m very picky about the looks and cleanliness of the bedding and especially the bathroom and this one was very good. I would return. I did not check out the pool on the upper floor. The gym had only a few pieces of equipment but no weights. We visited another family member's room on the 37th floor with a harbour view and the view was spectacular.

By mistake I requested a room on the lower floor when I booked the hotel via this site,  thinking I would be using the stairs for daily exercise.  Incidentally, I found out on the hotel site that lower floors are for smokers only- information was not on this booking site.  I wrote directly to the hotel that I needed a non-smoking room.  Immediate response was sent from the hotel to assure me of a room on a non-smoking floor. Unscrupulous smoking customers, however, do smoke in non-smoking rooms.  On my first stay in the hotel,  the non-smoking room did have a smell of smoke, but when I told the manager,  it was immediately taken care of and when I returned to the room  in less than an hour later, the room smelled clean, not with a spray to cover the smell, but a faint smell of some anticeptic like Ditto, which also faded away after the fan was on for a few minutes,  leaving just a clean smell in the room.   When I returned about 5-6 days later for my second stay, at the counter, I was re-assured the room I was moving in (not the same one I first stayed) had been carefully checked and with no smell.  I highly and deeply appreciate the way the hotel manager and the staff who so concientiously take care  of  their non-smoking customers' concerns and hope the smoking customers will all show respect by not smoking on the non-smoking floors, especially not inside the rooms. Lunch and dinner buffets were excellent, quality as well as value, especially for those that love sashimi (fresh raw salmon and tuna fish) and freshly made crepes for dessert.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff at the reception counter and housekeeping section. The manager sent somebody to take care of the problems within 5 minutes when I reported some smoke smell in the room on arrival and later minor problem with the toilet tank flashing button. Location is excellent: everything is within a 5-10 min walk including a public library, fast food and more fancy restaurants, shopping malls, supermarkets etc. Tram and bus stations are at the door, metro is just across the street. Two computers in the lobby with free Internet access are available but very busy except early morning and late at night. Luckily free Wi-Fi is available all the time and connection is good. Local calls are HKD $4.00 each call, about HKD $1.00 cheapter than some hotels of the same class. Long distance calls are very expensive by the minute plus, I dont remember exactly, about HKD $35 service charge, about $5.00 cheaper than some other hotels of the same class. I am coming back for a longer stay after a short trip to Vietnam.

We enjoyed our stay at the L'Hotel Causeway Bay. Very good location in a quiet area across from the Tin Hau Metro Station. Another bonus was the noodle shop across from the front door of the hotel. We liked eating there so much that we dined there four times. Will consider to stay there in the future when we are in Hong Kong again.

Hotel location is quite convenient, which is near a metro station and close to the shopping area. And this hotel is quite competitive in Causeway area. I will highly recommend this hotel if you travel to Hong Kong.

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the MTR station. But I didn't know it was that near until I reached the hotel and what a good surprise. The MTR is just across the road. There are many food outlets and a Wellcome supermarket within walking distance. If you fancy a stroll in the park, you can walk to Victoria Park in less than 2 minutes. If you are not a smoker, please ensure that you request for non-smoking floor well in advance. I had to settle for a room on a smoking floor due to the bed configuration and suffered for 2 nights as cigarette smoke would seep into our room whenever the guests in the next room smoked. Other than this, I had a pleasant stay.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent as Tin Hau MTR is just across the hotel. The tram and bus stops are also just outside the hotel. There are a number of good, not so expensive Chinese and Thai restaurants nearby. The rooms are quite big for Hong Kong standard, and were very clean. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous, and even allowed us to have a late checkout. On the whole, staying at L'Hotel Causeway Bay was a very pleasant experience for the whole family.

Service was very good. Staff we're friendly and willing to help, especially the maid who greeted us every morning and asked if we needed anything. Rooms were made each day with bottles of water provided. Rooms were not particularly big, especially if you try to have a cot bed also. Disappointed that there was no wifi access at all and the only free Internet was 2 computers in the lobby area with no privacy. Tried the restaurant once, buffet style, an ok selection, but there are better and less expensive places to each within minutes of hotel. Also went down to the "booth" (bar) on new year’s eve, absolute rip off at $750 for 2 sprites, a coke, 1 JD and 2 cocktails. Bar was virtually empty that night and at those prices I could see why! Overall really good location with bus services, trams and MTR on the doorstep. 20 minute taxi to the peak cost around $65 and a $3 tram ride to Times Square which has a nice cinema. Would stay for location, cost and service. But avoid restaurant and bar!

This hotel has only one restaurant. One day we want to visit the bar to celebrate a birthday of our son. But the bar was not working. Gym is very poor and small. Room menu and morning breakfast is very expensive. So, all of this means average rating on service. It was my 4th visit to Hongkong. And this hotel is better, than another analogs hotels 4 stars. More cheap and very close to metro. So, my opinion, good rating for value for money, except hotel service.

Good service, clean and very convenience location. Just opposite of MRT exit (Tin Hao) Standard room is quite small but worth to it room rate. Will be all thumbs up if free in room internet access included.

Overall, it is an okay hotel especially for the location. The room had hair all over when I checked in and the maids left more hair whenever they left. The maid asked me a couple of times to leave my room so she could clean rather than come back later. I had to tell her to come back rather than her do it herself. Also, my tissue box ran out and I had to point that out rather than her checking. One of the managers was a little rude. I had to really negotiate and stand my ground with her to get decent service.

I was highly recommended by a friend of mine in Hong Kong to stay here. Apart from the location, the hotel is very average. The bathroom is soaked with water when I first checked in, the towels are dirty and the room is average. I was told this hotel is very new build not long ago, but I don't really find that new. But I do have to comment that staff are polite, room is spacious and location is close to the MRT. Also wanted to comment that there is lots of good food around the areas. But through this site, I can book for a good rate, therefore cannot complain.

Stayed four nights, everything went smooth. Staff was friendly, location is very convenient. We requested a king-size bed and the request was granted upon checking in. Had a room on the 32nd floor. Room size is pretty good for HK standards, although TV is old. Didn't use the outdoor pool but stopped by to check it out. They had two lifeguards on duty even though the pool was empty. Would stay again in the future.

I stayed in this hotel from Jul 3-6 and 14-20. It's very convenience and have easy access to subway, food and everything. Plus the room is very cozy, I don't really feel crowded as I was told most HK hotels room are small and crowded. I don't hear any noises from the street. The hallway was a bit noisy when people walking around bur it's kind of expected. The only issue is the first few nights where the bathroom is not so clean, it was actually soak with water, and have a bathroom smell. Last 6 days, room was good. Overall, I like this hotel and will stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel is very conveniently located just opposite the Tien Hao MTR station. It is about 10 minutes walk or 1 MTR station away to the Causeway Bay shopping area. The front office staff and chambermaids are all very helpful. The use of the business centre, including internet and printing is free. However, one service they can improve. On checking out I needed help to carry my heavy luggage to the MTR station (because I need to carry the luggage down 2 flight of staircase), the hotel staff was not willing citing insurance restricting. To me service (by walking the extra mile) is more important than any excuses whether legitimate or not. I was even willing to pay for the service, and I willing to carry the luggage with the helper.

The hotel is right opposite to the Tin Hau MTR station and hence has easy accessibility to any part of Hong Kong. Also, it is directly connected to Airport through bus service (E11) which starts from Tin Hau Bus Stop, again opposite to the hotel. Highly recommended

This hotel is excellent value for money. It is clean and the furnishings are generally very comfortable. The rooms are pretty spacious by Hong Kong standard. The hotel is just a stone throw away from Tin Hau MTR station. There are convenience shops and eateries around the hotel as well. However, Tin Hau is not exactly a touristy area. So if you are looking for a chi-chi surrounding with plenty up market shops, restaurants or drinking holes around your hotel, this is not your type of place.

When we check-in at the hotel, the rooms were not ready yet. The staff told us to come back half an hour later, and so we stored our luggage with the concierge and walked opposite to a 24 hrs Mac for our lunch. Came back to get the key to our room at level 33, but the room smelled of cigarette smoke! So I immediately called the front desk and request for change. About half an hour later, the concierge came up to our room and assist us to change to another room on level 35. Do note that the prices paid here are meant for city view rooms only. Overall, service is ok. They make up the room every day, but the floors remained dirty with sand like particles. Bed sheets not changed daily, even though we didn’t place the card to request "Not to change" on the bed. Oh! On the first day of our stay, after my bath to my horror I realized there is a damn big piece of dried booger on the edge of the towel! So disgusting!

The location of the hotel was really good, just across the road from the Tin Hau MTR Station (1 station from all the shopping at causeway bay). There is a local tea restaurant just across the road for breakfast too. The room that we got was clean and spacious. I really like the wooden flooring, no suspicious carpet stains to worry about. We have a slight glimpse of the harbour from our window, it would be cool to be in the next room which has a full view.

We booked two rooms for four nights before Xmas, four adults and one kid, the kid and an adult shared a single bed and it was all fine, I think the bed is a king single-a bit bigger than a regular single. The location of the hotel is very good- just opposite to Tin Hau station, there are a small restaurant and a pharmacy just across the road, which made it even more perfect. If you want to walk to central Causeway Bay for shopping, it takes 15 mins which is not too bad, or you can take train, it is only one stop away. Hotel rooms are small but I think the size is above average in HK. Rooms are clean but need an update. Overall the stay was quite pleasant.

The hotel is very conveniently located with the MTR (underground rail) just across the street. Room and bed are comfortable. A very nice place to stay on the Hong Kong Island though not many Taxi drivers know where it actually is. So, it's handy to tell them, the taxi driver, the hotel is on King's Road, Causeway Bay and across the road of 'Tin Hau' MTR Station.

This hotel is in a great location as it's directly across from the Tin Hau MTR stop, but that's where my good comments end. I was very unhappy when I was given a non-smoking room that had actually been used as a smoking room. Luckily I was moved to another room, but the problems were only beginning. The mattresses are unbelievably hard, and the walls are paper-thin. While there, I heard everything (I mean everything) that went on next door. Thus I got no sleep, and my vacation was affected as a result. In addition, the bathtub had 5-6 hairs left in it from the previous guest. The staff are not very friendly, but I suppose that's normal nowadays. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again and don't recommend it.

For those visitors to Hongkong who like to use the MTR, this is a very good choice because the MTR is just across the road. Other than that, the price for room is quite expensive. Facilities and service is just average.

we stayed in this hotel 2 years ago and it was new and the room was clean. but now, i think the rooms need to be refurbished. tiles in the bathrooms and dirty and looks really old. parquet wood on the rooms is old and need to replace with new ones or replace a carpet. paint on the walls are dirty and old. need to be refurbished the whole rooms. service was still great and the hotel provides baby cot for my baby. food opposite the hotel is great.

Small eateries easily found in the neighbourhood (dessert shop, wantan noodles, beef noodles) Rooftop swimming pool was closed for maintenence during winter, so was disappointed that was not able enjoy the view. The pillows were too soft, so we didn't get a good rest. The room given was facing the lift and the corridor was small, so we could hear people outside the room. Be prepared to wait for the lift especially if you stay at the higher levels.

Before my stay, I was quite skeptical on this hotel after reading other travellers' reviews on this hotel (e.g. complaints on the hard bed, dirty and smelly toilets, few eating choices in the vicinity). But after having stayed in L'Hotel Causeway Bay for 5 nights, I was more than pleased and satisfied with this hotel. The hotel room is not that small for HK standards. The toilet is huge too with a bathtub and is clean with no foul smell. The front desk staff is pleasant and efficient for our check-in and check-out. The hotel staff was quick to help with our luggage when he saw us outside the hotel entrance. There are also a lot of eateries opposite the hotel (behind Tin Hau MTR station exit) and there is a 24-hr MacDonald's not too far down the street. Location of the hotel is good, directly opposite the MTR station exit.But I do have a slight complaint on this hotel: the lifts are just too slow and small. Although the hotel has 3 lifts serving 40 floors, we usually had to wait for some time especially in the morning when people were checking out with their luggage.

Though the room is a bit small but most amenities within 5mins walk from hotel. MTR station, bus stop and tram stop just across the road from the hotel. Good local eating places in the vicinity of the hotel too. Like the fact that there are only about 12 rooms on each floor. Only minus point is that the concierge could do better. Nevertheless, Will definitely come back.

Bathroom door is hard to lock, at least in the room that we stayed. MTR is just across the hotel. Not much to see or to do within the vicinity of the hotel except Victoria Park.

Free internet downstairs or if you have your own notebook. Location is opposite Tin Hau MTR station which is excellent. You will need to call a taxi to get to the airport express station or drag your luggage about 500 metres to get to thAirport Bus.room size are good for Hong Kong and quite clean and comfortable. Staff are ok. nothing special to note about them as its more DIY for nearly everything. (ie call taxi, etc etc).

MTR (Tin Hau) is just right across the street from the hotel. Free email access from the hotel lobby was good idea indeed, as I did not bring my computer on vacation. Hotel front desk staff professional. Rooms modern and clean. I booked 2 rooms (4 adults) and they offered us interconnecting rooms. Bathroom & room can be classified as spacious for HK. Loved it! Will keep coming back if price is kept reasonable.Beds are clean and comfortable. Picture window gives good view of the surrounding, at 25th Floor, got a good partial view of the harbour even. Concierge knowledgeable and helpful when approached for directions to attractions. Gave accurate info for taxi to airport too! With the MTR just across the street, makes commuting around HK very convenient. Only ordered continental breakfast room service. Great to have a fridge that is empty for a change. Leaves room for food/ drinks purchased in. Parquet flooring is a change from the usual carpet used by hotels. Great bedhead lighting concepts. Would be good if there is a clock in the room, had to turn on light to see watch when I wake up at night. Appreciate the big bottle of mineral water provided in the rooms daily.MTR just outside the door. Concierge got us a taxi when we were heading out to the airport pretty quickly.

The hotel is in a superb location, well served by tram, MRT, buses and direct bus to airport via E11 or A11. Plenty of eating places behind Tin Hau MRT, with 2 supermarkets of good size. Hotel staff friendly including chamber maids who make the stay comfortable. A pleasant surprise was the hotel gave an extended checkout time as my flight was at 8pm, thanks to the thoughtfulness of HotelTravel staff. Really appreciate it.

This hotel is very convenient as the MTR is just opposite the hotel - barely 30 seconds to reach it so travelling almost anywhere was easy. I was upgraded and the room was fantastic. It was big with all amenities like TV, hot shower, 2 TVs. big sitting room area. Staff was attentive and nice. Very convenient food-wise. Was a nice and excellent stay.

Rooms were good but facilities ie (gym was very small with little equipment/ pool was small, ok for a quick dip, pool area was really small). Hotel foyer was also small with only a couple of seating areas. Close to the MTR and supermarkets. 10-15mins walking distance to shops. Small local restraunt across the road from the main hotel entry doesn't look much but the food was great and cheap.

This is without a doubt the best hotel that I have stayed in HK in terms of customer experience and ease of travelling.I have been to Conrad and Renaissance which is 5 and 4*. The front desk lobby is just so adequately nice,very near to MTR just across the hotel, if you like chinese food or fast food(mcD) its just around the hotel.Have Valuemart to buy all your good and stuffs. Nearby city central via MTR and Trams.Free internet usage at lobby for mailing. Overall happy and will be there again if I ever return to HK.Choose this hotel , you will not regret it .

Excellent and gorgeous hotel! It had a very modern decor and large, spacious rooms. We had a great view from our 18th floor room and were very happy with the service provided. The restaurants buffets were excellent and very reasonably priced, especially for Hong Kong. They had free computer/internet access on a couple of computers in the lobby. The hotel is DIRECTLY across from a main underground station, so its very easy to get around. There isn't a ton of shopping right beside the hotel, but its easily within walking distance or even easier to reach on the train. I highly recommend this hotel and will return again if I'm ever back in Hong Kong!

The hotel is located across Tin Hau MTR Station and it a station away to the Shopping Areas to Causeway Bay. It is closed to Central as well.Nearby, there is good range of eateries and a variety a selection. Nearby, there is a Wellcome Supermarket as well. Good feel of the rooms - without carpet - furnishes of parquet and tiles - clean and without dust. High glass windows - up to the ceiling level provide excellent view of the vicinity and a view of the Victoria Harbour. Only setback - the bed is a bit hard.

It was a good stay , They were so nice to have upgraded us to a suite . Yes as what was reviewed bed was a little too hard . Did not get to use the pool as its was closed due to the storm . Beautiful view from the room!
