Excellent and gorgeous hotel! It had a very modern decor and large, spacious rooms. We had a great view from our 18th floor room and were very happy with the service provided. The restaurants buffets were excellent and very reasonably priced, especially for Hong Kong. They had free computer/internet access on a couple of computers in the lobby. The hotel is DIRECTLY across from a main underground station, so its very easy to get around. The L'Hotel is perfectly situated: just a few steps to the next Metro or Bus Station.. the buildung and the rooms are very nice, modern and good equiped.
Only remarks: The staff is not very friendly and not too helpfull (when asking how to get somewhere, suggestions what to do..) but all things considered: its a very nice hotel in a wonderfull and fascinating city!

My self wife and grandson stayed her for eleven nights ,Transport to any were was very good, I booked an executive room for two adults and one child as we entered the room there was only two beds but within 2min a portable bed was given to us for our grandson for no charge the room was big enough for three.If we could get softer bed's we would defernatle stay there again.

we stayed in this hotel 2 years ago and it was new and the room was clean. but now, i think the rooms need to be refurbished. tiles in the bathrooms and dirty and looks really old. parquet wood on the rooms is old and need to replace with new ones or replace a carpet. paint on the walls are dirty and old. need to be refurbished the whole rooms. service was still great and the hotel provides baby cot for my baby. food opposite the hotel is great.

Good location to Hau Tin MTR station. Can take trams to other parts of Hong Kong Island. Wellcome supermarket just around the corner. Small eateries easily found in the neighbourhood (dessert shop, wantan noodles, beef noodles) Rooftop swimming pool was closed for maintenence during winter, so was disappointed that was not able enjoy the view. The pillows were too soft, so we didn't get a good rest. The room given was facing the lift and the corridor was small, so we could hear people outside the room. Be prepared to wait for the lift especially if you stay at the higher levels.

Before my stay, I was quite skeptical on this hotel after reading other travellers' reviews on this hotel (e.g. complaints on the hard bed, dirty and smelly toilets, few eating choices in the vicinity). But after having stayed in L'Hotel Causeway Bay for 5 nights, I was more than pleased and satisfied with this hotel. The hotel room is not that small for HK standards. The toilet is huge too with a bathtub and is clean with no foul smell. The front desk staff is pleasant and efficient for our check-in and check-out. The hotel staff was quick to help with our luggage when he saw us outside the hotel entrance. There are also a lot of eateries opposite the hotel (behind Tin Hau MTR station exit) and there is a 24-hr MacDonald's not too far down the street. Location of the hotel is good, directly opposite the MTR station exit.But I do have a slight complaint on this hotel: the lifts are just too slow and small. Although the hotel has 3 lifts serving 40 floors, we usually had to wait for some time especially in the morning when people were checking out with their luggage.

Though the room is a bit small but most amenities within 5mins walk from hotel. MTR station, bus stop and tram stop just across the road from the hotel. Good local eating places in the vicinity of the hotel too. Like the fact that there are only about 12 rooms on each floor. Only minus point is that the concierge could do better. Free internet downstairs or if you have your own notebook. Location is opposite Tin Hau MTR station which is excellent. You will need to call a taxi to get to the airport express station or drag your luggage about 500 metres to get to thAirport Bus.room size are good for Hong Kong and quite clean and comfortable.
Staff are ok. nothing special to note about them as its more DIY for nearly everything. (ie call taxi, etc etc).

MTR (Tin Hau) is just right across the street from the hotel. Free email access from the hotel lobby was good idea indeed, as I did not bring my computer on vacation. Hotel front desk staff professional. Rooms modern and clean. I booked 2 rooms (4 adults) and they offered us interconnecting rooms. Bathroom & room can be classified as spacious for HK. Loved it! Will keep coming back if price is kept reasonable.Beds are clean and comfortable. Picture window gives good view of the surrounding, at 25th Floor, got a good partial view of the harbour even.
Concierge knowledgeable and helpful when approached for directions to attractions. Gave accurate info for taxi to airport too! With the MTR just across the street, makes commuting around HK very convenient. Only ordered continental breakfast room service. Great to have a fridge that is empty for a change. Leaves room for food / drinks purchased in. Parquet flooring is a change from the usual carpet used by hotels. Great bedhead lighting concepts. Would be good if there is a clock in the room, had to turn on light to see watch when I wake up at night. Appreciate the big bottle of mineral water provided in the rooms daily.MTR just outside the door. Concierge got us a taxi when we were heading out to the airport pretty quickly.

The hotel is in a superb location, well served by tram, MRT, buses and direct bus to airport via E11 or A11. Plenty of eating places behind Tin Hau MRT, with 2 supermarkets of good size. Hotel staff friendly including chamber maids who make the stay comfortable. A pleasant surprise was the hotel gave an extended checkout time as my flight was at 8pm, thanks to the thoughtfulness of HotelTravel staff. Really appreciate it.

This hotel is very convenient as the MTR is just opposite the hotel - barely 30 seconds to reach it so travelling almost anywhere was easy. I was upgraded and the room was fantastic. This is without a doubt the best hotel that I have stayed in HK in terms of customer experience and ease of travelling.I have been to Conrad and Renaissance which is 5 and 4*.
The front desk lobby is just so adequately nice,very near to MTR just across the hotel, if you like chinese food or fast food(mcD) its just around the hotel.Have Valuemart to buy all your good and stuffs.
Nearby city central via MTR and Trams.Free internet usage at lobby for mailing.
Overall happy and will be there again if I ever return to HK.Choose this hotel , you will not regret it .

The hotel is located across Tin Hau MTR Station and it a station away to the Shopping Areas to Causeway Bay. It is closed to Central as well.Nearby, there is good range of eateries and a variety a selection. Nearby, there is a Wellcome Supermarket as well. Good feel of the rooms - without carpet - furnishes of parquet and tiles - clean and without dust. High glass windows - up to the ceiling level provide excellent view of the vicinity and a view of the Victoria Harbour.
Only setback - the bed is a bit hard.

We stayed at the 23rd floor and had a partial view of the harbour which was great. This is a boutique hotel with quaint interiors. Rooms are clean enough with modernish look, bathroom was average. Only comment i could probably give is the bed could be softer but at least the comforter and pillows were much to my liking. Very near the mtr station which was its top point! it's right across the tin hau exit in fact. For the price, i think this hotel did not disappoint.

The most we enjoyed was the room. We were upgraded to higher level that gave us a very good view. The room has a chic and contemporary look. Although the bed was a bit too hard to sleep, it has excellent pillows and duvet. It was better after we added an extra blanket underneath. Roof-top swimming pool was exceptional, and exercise room was very private. Hotel's location although not very ideal, it is however steps to subway....makes it convenient. The least we like was the breakfast. We were quite disappointed with the foods they served`and the service they provided, and that there were no good restaurant or cafe or nice shops nearby.

My second stay in L'Hotel, just as good as the first. The location is excellent, right next to the MTR exit. The dinner buffet has been highly recommended by friends, but didnt have time to try it out. The service of the staff has always been good. The only complaint is the housekeeping forgot to replace the empty tissue and gave me 1 set of towels instead of 2, but that was quickly sorted out after a call to reception.

Excellent hotel. Although on the outskirts of Causeway Bay, the hotel was located across the street from the MTR and tram and half a block from buses that could take you all over HK. The great convenience of this hotel cannot be over-stressed. Food outlets exist nearby, but a larger variety would be nice. For the price of $91/day on Hong Kong island, this was a minor inconvenience. I loved it so much, I've already made a second booking!

The staffs do not smile at all and perhaps they are tired. Our room had been upgraded and we were quite happy with our stay. We stayed at two different periods. The first part was a bit overpriced and the last part was good value. That's why I could only say average on my comment. The decor in the room is quite modern and room size can be considered very comfortable for Hong Kong standard. I will consider staying here again if the rate is right. I hope if I stay there next time I can see more smiling faces.

A modern, new boutique hotel in a very convenient location for business travel - MRT to Central is right across the road. The room size is smaller than the "normal" hotel but be assured that you do not notice this as the furniture is custom built and interesting so that you do not feel cramped in anyway. Breakfast is excellant and the evening buffets are of a high standard. I will definitely be returning. Very clean, very efficient and the wake up call service worked every day. I did not try the bar so perhaps there was a lounge in that area in which case 4 above should be marked excellant. Certainly value for money. The view from the gym and pool is quite something.

For 2 girls on a shopping trip this was the perfect location - shops you can walk to as well as the MTR station across the road to go further afield. The rooms are quite small but fine for 2 people and decorated to a nice modern simple style. We didnt eat in the hotel because we preferred to go out but it all looked very nice. Visit Times Square for great bargains and go to the Ladies Market. The public transport is so easy and safe.

We traveled with our 16 year old child and stayed in this hotel for 4 days.This was the last hotel in our 3 week holliday in Sigapore, Hong Kong and China. On checking in the receptionist informed us that they had upgraded us to a 2 room suit at no extra charge as it may be a little crowded for 4 days with 3 of us in 1 room. I did not request this it was offered. Our room was fantastic and the staff's service was excellent. The swimmingpool and Gym are at the top of the building (40th floor) with a great veiw of Hong Kong.

The hotel was just across from the subway station, which made it very easy to get around, but I wouldn't say the location was exactly central. The first night we were there, we were put in a room with two twin beds, when we had requested a double bed. Although the room was supposed to be non-smoking, it had a strong smoky smell. However, the next day we were put in a non-smoking room (which did not smell at all) with a double bed and a nicer view. Overall, we were very satisfied with the accomodation and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had the buffet breakfast on one of the mornings which was also nice and had a good variety of food.

Got a good rate, but definitely will not stay here again. Would rather pay more! Definitely not fore Leisure or family holiday. The room is large and spacious, but it does not outweigh the plain decoration of the room. A station away from Central Area. One good thing is right opposite the Station. Nothing in the room! Nothing in the fridge! Water smells bad. The accessories used in the bathroom is of poor quality. The hotel is still new, but in a few years time, it will be worn out. The hotel opted for cheaper and slower lift so you will have to wait and use for a while.

The location of this hotel is Excellent! Right by the MTR station (Tin Hau Station) and close to main shopping area which is in Causeway Bay itself. There is a great Indian/Thai restaurant just around the corner which serves excellent food (next to the Metropark Hotel on Tung Lo Wan Road). There is also a vegetarian food stall two minutes walk from the hotel with an interesting variety of chinese snacks and desserts. If you like to try out new things, you would definitely like it. At the hotel premises, there is a great selection for breakfast at the hotel's coffee shop which is an approximate $15 per head for the buffet if it is not already included in your room rate. As for the rooms, it is small like most hongkong hotel rooms but it is kept clean. For those allergic to furs, carpets, dusts etc, this is the room for you with wooden flooring. We actually really liked this factor. Overall, a fairly new hotel whereby you can have a comfortable stay.

The hotel is located in a really convenient location, next to MTR and supermarket. One MTR stop from Causeway Bay (not too far if you have too many shopping bags to carry, and very short taxi drive if you're too tired to take MTR). There is also not too much traffic and chaos around the area. The hotel is very clean, new and modern, the room is spacious with a lot of space. The restaurant for breakfast is very nice, modern glass walls and high ceilings (helps to wake you up in the morning). The Lobby is very modern and also has 2 computers with internet connection for guests to use for free, I didn't have to queue very long at all. They also provide 2 bottles of drinking water (i have stayed in many hotels in HK that do not provide this). The only negative comment for this hotel is probably the bed, it's quite small to turn around, and they only have feather pillows, which i found quite uncomfortable.

Hotel is just opposit MTR Tin Hau subway station which is very convenient. Tram station is just in front of the hotel and for $2, you can just hop onto it and go around, but the tram is packed like sardine when we used it one sunday morning as the philipino and indonesain maids came out on sunday to have their free day. Mac Donalds is just opposite and the food is cheap compared to the other food found in Macau.

The hotel was conveniently located across the street from the Tin Hau MTR station. There is a grocery store nearby and some small restaraunts with great food and decent prices. As for shopping, you will have to take the MTR or bus to other locations like Central, Causeway Bay or Kowloon. There are really no shops near aside from the grocery store and pharmacy. As far as the hotel and my room, it was very clean and a decent size. The pool was still not due to licensing issues according to the concierge. The concierge was pleasant and helpful when I had questions about other locations in Hong Kong. Overall, I would stay there again for the money and location to the MTR. It was in a very safe environment even though buildings around the hotel looked a bit run down.
