Excellent and gorgeous hotel! It had a very modern decor and large, spacious rooms. We had a great view from our 18th floor room and were very happy with the service provided. The restaurants buffets were excellent and very reasonably priced, especially for Hong Kong. They had free computer/internet access on a couple of computers in the lobby. The hotel is DIRECTLY across from a main underground station, so its very easy to get around. There isn't a ton of shopping right beside the hotel, but its easily within walking distance or even easier to reach on the train. I highly recommend..

Large rooms with a large king sized bed. All amenities such as hairdryer, fridge, shampoo, conditioner, etc. present and were all used. Dual flush toilet did not work well - we called the front desk and they sent someone up immediately to check - it turned out that we had to hold both buttoms down for about 15 seconds. Other family bathrooms flushed easier and quicker. Good location to the Tin Hau MTR - just across the street - very convenient and efficient
buffet breakfast - good and large selection of food. Cost reasonable about $20 CDN per person. However, food outside ithe hotel is a bit cheaper - so we only at the the hotel the 1st morning. Bedding and bathroom maintained and kept clean daily. Mattress a bit firmer than I am used to but slept well. AC made it comfortable to sleep. It got cold though and a blanket was quickly brought up to the room when asked. Very pleasant and helpful front desk staff

Check in/out desk very efficient and polite. Room size was large esp. the king sized bed. Mattress was firmer than I was used to but no complaints of back pain in the morning. Small fridge was nice to have. Overall feeling of hotel room was very good. All the amenities of hair dryer, fridge, shampoo, conditioner, etc. were great and the products were good for my use. Bathroom was a good size and clean. I’m very picky about the looks and cleanliness of the bedding and especially the bathroom and this one was very good. I would return. I did not check out the pool on the upper floor. The gym had only a few pieces of equipment but no weights. By mistake I requested a room on the lower floor when I booked the hotel via this site, thinking I would be using the stairs for daily exercise. Incidentally, I found out on the hotel site that lower floors are for smokers only- information was not on this booking site. I wrote directly to the hotel that I needed a non-smoking room. Immediate response was sent from the hotel to assure me of a room on a non-smoking floor. Unscrupulous smoking customers, however, do smoke in non-smoking rooms. On my first stay in the hotel, the non-smoking room did have a smell of smoke, but when I told the manager, it was immediately taken care of and when I returned to the room in less than an hour later, the room smelled clean, not with a spray to cover the smell, but a faint smell of some anticeptic like Ditto, which also faded away after the fan was on for a few minutes, leaving just a clean smell in the room. When I returned about 5-6 days later for my second stay, at the counter, I was re-assured the room I was moving in (not the same one I first stayed) had been carefully checked and with no smell. I highly and deeply appreciate the way the hotel manager and the staff who so concientiously take care of their non-smoking customers' concerns and hope the smoking customers will all show respect by not smoking on the non-smoking floors, especially not inside the rooms. Lunch and dinner buffets were excellent, quality as well as value, especially for those that love sashimi (fresh raw salmon and tuna fish) and freshly made crepes for dessert.Hotel Facilities

Extremely friendly and helpful staff at the reception counter and housekeeping section. The manager sent somebody to take care of the problems within 5 minutes when I reported some smoke smell in the room on arrival and later minor problem with the toilet tank flashing button. Location is excellent: everything is within a 5-10 min walk including a public library, fast food and more fancy restaurants, shopping malls, supermarkets etc. Tram and bus stations are at the door, metro is just across the street. Two computers in the lobby with free Internet access are available but very busy except early morning and late at night. Luckily free Wi-Fi is available all the time and connection is good. Local calls are HKD $4.00 each call, about HKD $1.00 cheapter than some hotels of the same class. Long distance calls are very expensive by the minute plus, I dont remember exactly, about HKD $35 service charge, about $5.00 cheaper than some other hotels of the same class. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the MTR station. But I didn't know it was that near until I reached the hotel and what a good surprise. The MTR is just across the road. There are many food outlets and a Wellcome supermarket within walking distance. If you fancy a stroll in the park, you can walk to Victoria Park in less than 2 minutes. If you are not a smoker, please ensure that you request for non-smoking floor well in advance. I had to settle for a room on a smoking floor due to the bed configuration and suffered for 2 nights as cigarette smoke would seep into our room whenever the guests in the next room smoked. The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous, and even allowed us to have a late checkout.

Service was very good. Staff we're friendly and willing to help, especially the maid who greeted us every morning and asked if we needed anything. Rooms were made each day with bottles of water provided. Rooms were not particularly big, especially if you try to have a cot bed also. Disappointed that there was no wifi access at all and the only free Internet was 2 computers in the lobby area with no privacy. Tried the restaurant once, buffet style, an ok selection, but there are better and less expensive places to each within minutes of hotel. Also went down to the "booth" (bar) on new year’s eve, absolute rip off at $750 for 2 sprites, a coke, 1 JD and 2 cocktails. Bar was virtually empty that night and at those prices I could see why! Overall really good location with bus services, trams and MTR on the doorstep. 20 minute taxi to the peak cost around $65 and a $3 tram ride to Times Square which has a nice cinema. I stayed in this hotel from Jul 3-6 and 14-20. It's very convenience and have easy access to subway, food and everything. Plus the room is very cozy, I don't really feel crowded as I was told most HK hotels room are small and crowded. I don't hear any noises from the street. The hallway was a bit noisy when people walking around bur it's kind of expected. The only issue is the first few nights where the bathroom is not so clean, it was actually soak with water, and have a bathroom smell. Last 6 days, room was good. The hotel is very conveniently located just opposite the Tien Hao MTR station. It is about 10 minutes walk or 1 MTR station away to the Causeway Bay shopping area. The front office staff and chambermaids are all very helpful. The use of the business centre, including internet and printing is free. However, one service they can improve. On checking out I needed help to carry my heavy luggage to the MTR station (because I need to carry the luggage down 2 flight of staircase), the hotel staff was not willing citing insurance restricting. To me service (by walking the extra mile) is more important than any excuses whether legitimate or not. When we check-in at the hotel, the rooms were not ready yet. The staff told us to come back half an hour later, and so we stored our luggage with the concierge and walked opposite to a 24 hrs Mac for our lunch. Came back to get the key to our room at level 33, but the room smelled of cigarette smoke! So I immediately called the front desk and request for change. About half an hour later, the concierge came up to our room and assist us to change to another room on level 35. Do note that the prices paid here are meant for city view rooms only. Overall, service is ok. They make up the room every day, but the floors remained dirty with sand like particles. Bed sheets not changed daily, even though we didn’t place the card to request "Not to change" on the bed. Oh! On the first day of our stay, after my bath to my horror I realized there is a damn big piece of dried booger on the edge of the towel! So disgusting!Hotel Facilities

The location of the hotel was really good, just across the road from the Tin Hau MTR Station (1 station from all the shopping at causeway bay). There is a local tea restaurant just across the road for breakfast too.

We booked two rooms for four nights before Xmas, four adults and one kid, the kid and an adult shared a single bed and it was all fine, I think the bed is a king single-a bit bigger than a regular single. The location of the hotel is very good- just opposite to Tin Hau station, there are a small restaurant and a pharmacy just across the road, which made it even more perfect. If you want to walk to central Causeway Bay for shopping, it takes 15 mins which is not too bad, or you can take train, it is only one stop away. Hotel rooms are small but I think the size is above average in HK. Rooms are clean but need an update. Overall the stay was quite pleasant.Hotel Facilities

This hotel is in a great location as it's directly across from the Tin Hau MTR stop, but that's where my good comments end. I was very unhappy when I was given a non-smoking room that had actually been used as a smoking room. Luckily I was moved to another room, but the problems were only beginning. The mattresses are unbelievably hard, and the walls are paper-thin. While there, I heard everything (I mean everything) that went on next door. Thus I got no sleep, and my vacation was affected as a result. In addition, the bathtub had 5-6 hairs left in it from the previous guest. The staff are not very friendly, but I suppose that's normal nowadays. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again and don't recommend it.Hotel Facilities

Small eateries easily found in the neighbourhood (dessert shop, wantan noodles, beef noodles) Rooftop swimming pool was closed for maintenence during winter, so was disappointed that was not able enjoy the view. The pillows were too soft, so we didn't get a good rest. The room given was facing the lift and the corridor was small, so we could hear people outside the room. Before my stay, I was quite skeptical on this hotel after reading other travellers' reviews on this hotel (e.g. complaints on the hard bed, dirty and smelly toilets, few eating choices in the vicinity). But after having stayed in L'Hotel Causeway Bay for 5 nights, I was more than pleased and satisfied with this hotel. The hotel room is not that small for HK standards. The toilet is huge too with a bathtub and is clean with no foul smell. The front desk staff is pleasant and efficient for our check-in and check-out. The hotel staff was quick to help with our luggage when he saw us outside the hotel entrance. There are also a lot of eateries opposite the hotel (behind Tin Hau MTR station exit) and there is a 24-hr MacDonald's not too far down the street. Location of the hotel is good, directly opposite the MTR station exit.But I do have a slight complaint on this hotel: the lifts are just too slow and small. Although the hotel has 3 lifts serving 40 floors, we usually had to wait for some time especially in the morning when people were checking out with their luggage.Hotel Facilities

MTR (Tin Hau) is just right across the street from the hotel. Free email access from the hotel lobby was good idea indeed, as I did not bring my computer on vacation. Hotel front desk staff professional. Rooms modern and clean. I booked 2 rooms (4 adults) and they offered us interconnecting rooms. Bathroom & room can be classified as spacious for HK. Loved it! Will keep coming back if price is kept reasonable.Beds are clean and comfortable. Picture window gives good view of the surrounding, at 25th Floor, got a good partial view of the harbour even.
Concierge knowledgeable and helpful when approached for directions to attractions. Gave accurate info for taxi to airport too! With the MTR just across the street, makes commuting around HK very convenient. Only ordered continental breakfast room service. Great to have a fridge that is empty for a change. Leaves room for food/ drinks purchased in. Parquet flooring is a change from the usual carpet used by hotels. Great bedhead lighting concepts. Would be good if there is a clock in the room, had to turn on light to see watch when I wake up at night. Excellent and gorgeous hotel! It had a very modern decor and large, spacious rooms. We had a great view from our 18th floor room and were very happy with the service provided. The restaurants buffets were excellent and very reasonably priced, especially for Hong Kong. They had free computer/internet access on a couple of computers in the lobby. The hotel is DIRECTLY across from a main underground station, so its very easy to get around. There isn't a ton of shopping right beside the hotel, but its easily within walking distance or even easier to reach on the train.
