The check out experience encountered on this stay was extremely disappointing. The hotel refused to provide to me a copy of the hotel bill citing that it was private contract between the hotel and the tour operator, i.e.Hoteltravel. It claimed that they can only provide the bill to the customer if he had paid at the hotel. As I have prepaid this stay with Hoteltravel I would not be getting one. I then cited that I had previously stayed at the JW Marriott booked through and prepaid to Priceline and still got a bill on checking out. The check out personnel appears to doubt my assertion. I asked to speak to her manager who similarly disbelive that I was ever given a bill and even got Marriott Reward points credited for that previous stay booked through Priceline. He challenged me to provide him the evidence that I was indeed given a copy of the bill. I then asked what he would do if I could produce that bill. He said he would investigate it. As he has doubted my assertion I was not satisfied that he will only investigate. I challenge him that if I could produce the bill and evidence that marriott reward points were awarded then he should do the same for this stay booked through Hoteltravel. The manager informed that he could not do that as it was against company policy. I was very disappointed when he had to hide behind the excuse of "company policy" when I have evidence of a precedent. I told him that I have done everything to ensure that I would be getting the reward points, i

Convenience, convenience, convenience. Right in the heart of Hong Kong island with the MRT right below, trams and taxis. Great service and attentive to detail in service. Very well trained staff, courteous and professional. Will definitely stay there again.

The staff at the JW Marriot in Hong Kong should be congratulated for their outstanding commitment to excellent customer service. The executive floors, health club and executive facilities were particularly well appointed. While friends have offered to accommodate me on my next visit to Hong Kong, I was impressed enough to decline their generous offer so that I may experience the hospitality again in the near future.

Elegant surroundings and attention to detail outstanding. I would have liked to have been able to sit in a bar and have a quiet drink, but this wasn't possible when I attepted this. The style and architecture were magnificent. staff could not have been more helpful or efficient; their happy attitude to my every comfort was a highlight of my stay. I really like the Methodist Chaplain uniforms they wear at breakfast time.
